EN- Traveler's Guide to Gemsoil: Chapter 1, Green Island

FOREWORD:

Greeting to those with adventure in their hearts!

One of my more unique journeys, even as I am writing this log I can’t contain my excitement. My insatiable wanderlust has led me to yet another place, quite the WILD one this time! However, unlike most of my logs, the main interest of this log is about a person instead of a location. I was so captivated by this individual that I even found myself forgetting to eat or drink! I hope you also share my excitement precious reader so I will not take more of your time.

Until our hearts meet on a new adventure…

LOCATION OF THE LAND:

The green island is a short fly or swim away from the burning continent. Threadseeker also frequently stops at the island along its routes. Or you can use the bridges and tunnels that lead to the island from the burning region. Since the land itself is very tame, travel to the green continent is both safe and leisurely.

DESCRIPTION OF THE LAND:

The green island is a massive land, slightly larger than the dark continent. The island is split into two distinct parts. The region surrounding the Tranquiltree has short and scattered trees, and the flora is the most varied of all Gemsoil. When going through the region, the bright green hue of the air and the colorful flora feels like you are stepping into a dream. Lair of the Emerald, Tranquiltree is massive beyond imagination. It is very easy to see the tree even from the shores of the burning lands. But its gargantuan size becomes more apparent when stepping on the green continent.

This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.

Yellow and dark green dominates the other half of the region. Entering the region, a massive, thick forest will greet you. The forest is named Sacredwoods by its guardian, the Catseye. The forest contains all of the species of Gemsoil. Its puzzling gemcraft nature makes the forest adapt to the creatures that reside in it. Catseye’s divine law of “Hunt, if you must.” is enforced by the forest itself, punishing greedy hunters.

PERSONAL NOTES ABOUT THE LAND:

Although my journey was to the Sacredwood area of the region, where the Catseye reign, I could not help but be amazed when I trekked through the Emerald region. The scent of life and death’s balance is thick, you will feel the omnipotent presence of Emerald! I am not the brightest or the most knowledgeable when it comes to flora but even my untrained eyes were stunned by the sheer variety of the vegetation. Other than being a feast for your eye, the plant life also carries the Emerald’s healing and rejuvenating powers. I felt at least a silverapple harvest younger after my brief visit!

Only in the Sacredwoods, you can see a deepbear, a bladeddolphin, a rockwalrus, a wingedmouse, a sandtortoise, a flowermosquito, a hornedwolf, and a grayjackal together! While the forest contains even the most dangerous species of Gemsoil, fret not because the wildlife doesn’t not interact with the passer-by. This hallowed land serves the species that reside in it, making sure they are at their fittest, healthiest, and strongest. Naturally, the brave souls who try to hunt these apex versions of wildlife must also be at their apex. If your heart wavers a single moment or if doubt wins its war against your will, do not expect to survive as a hunter here.

I consider myself lucky for coming across a hunter on my journey. This relationship of hunter and nature in the Sacredwoods is a rite of skill, mind, and body that pushes both sides to their very limit. In the story section of this log, you will see how a uniquely talented hunter adapts and overcomes to survive, I have no doubt the Catseye is proud of him!
