Witnessing impending doom, even a Fester would be terrified. It thought back to its life, and all the actions it had taken. In every scenario, it was the one to take. Whether it be material objects or human lives, it was always the one who took from others. However, despite being on the receiving end, it didn't feel pity towards those it had victimized. In fact, it looked down on them even more. Because unlike them, it had one last resort.
As Oliver placed his finger on the belt's pulling mechanism, the Fester raised its right arm up. It opened its hand, its sharp fingers spreading out making a grabbing gesture. Before Oliver could pull the gimmick, the Fester swiped downwards. In an instant, Oliver was put inside one of the capsules. The Fester smiled, reveling in its victory.
"Humans... Are so foolish..." the Fester said to itself, as it went to grab the capsule.
Before it could grab the capsule, the Fester noticed it starting to crack. This sight terrified the creature. Normally, when an object or creature is trapped inside one of its capsules, the chance of the contained subject breaking out is highly improbable. This is due to the layers upon layers of descent energy stack on top of each, forming an impenetrable surface. Trying to break it would be equivalent to trying to break a solid steel wall using a plastic butter knife. Although as a result, the outer casing of the capsule had to be neglected. Its toughness was comparable to regular plastic. Even still, a crack should be impossible.... Unless... Somehow... Oliver was able to break through the thick layer of descent energy. That surely couldn't happen could it? If that were the case, Oliver would surely be a monster far greater than itself. That thought both angered, and instilled fear into the Fester.
As the crack became bigger and bigger, the Fester slowly began being consumed with fear. With each crack, it could feel all its pride being drained away. The once proud Fester, was now taking a step back, from a human.... But how could it let that happen?
"Damn human! I won't let you look down on me!" The Fester said, ripping out all the capsules on its body.
One by one, it began eating the capsules. With each capsule it ate, the brighter it's stomach region began glowing. It was as if inside it was a ridiculous amount of energy, waiting to be expelled. The overflow of energy got so bad, that even its neck began glowing due to the excess energy. The Fester got on all fours, and with one puff, it shot out the condensed descent energy stored inside each capsule. The bright beam of neon purple energy was the equivalent to one nuclear explosion. Anything in the beam's path was destroyed. Naturally, the building itself began to crumble, dropping the Fester down all the way to ground level. It already expended all its energy in that blast, so after being dropped all the way down 3 stories, the Fester could barely move. However, what really mattered was it's satisfaction. Even though dust covered the area, it was sure that Oliver had died. I mean, who could survive such an attack. Nobody could. No human could at least.... However; Oliver wasn't exactly human at that point.
In the dust filled lobby, two glowing bright objects mocked the fester. As it got closer, the figure became increasingly more visible. A tall frame, an imposing stance, and a sense of superiority that reeked "I'm better than you". The figure looked around as it rubbed its head.
"I can barely see anything... Maybe if I..." With a swipe of its arm, the dust immediately got blown away, as if a strong gust of wind passed through.
As if the figure wasn't menacing enough, the wind blew its muffler, causing it to wisp around in a mocking gesture. The figure turned to the Fester, and even though its face was covered by a mask, the Fester knew who exactly he was... And what face he was making.
"It tiring as hell to break through that thing, but now that I'm out... Woowie! I'm pumped!" Oliver shouted out enthusiastically, wearing a smirk along with it.
The Fester couldn't believe it... No, it didn't want to believe it. A human, a mere human has bested it. Even though it was born with strength, created from the concept of treasure itself; festering over years until given form by descent energy. It was beaten by a creature that came from mud. At that point. Who wouldn't be angry?
The Fester began screeching hysterically. The way its body stood still, despite the horrible sound, was extremely unnerving. However, Oliver didn't just sit by idly. He took a step back, and got into a defensive position.
"From all the TV shows I've watched, and video games I've played... Whenever the big bad evil guy gets angry, he gets some insane power up..." Oliver said, looking up as the Fester began malting.
Shedding its skin, a beast with ten arms, and an uncountable amount of legs emerged like a bug coming out of it's cocoon. The creature had 19 different segments, each segment having one eye in the middle. Its underbelly was basically a giant mouth with rows of razor sharp teeth, and a 30 feet tongue. It looked like a centipede on steroids.
"Wait... Is it a centipede or millipede? I always mix the two up..." Oliver said to himself.
The Fester locked it's eyes onto Oliver as it began drooling with what seems like liquid gold.

"I am the Greed Fester. I will take this world as it is my right" it said, its voice practically spewing out with avarice.
Oliver looked up at the beast, the smirk never fading away from him. He flicked his fingers which turned to an accusatory point.
"I am Oliver Rand... In other words... Your opponent is me, and only me" Oliver said, arrogantly.
The Fester lifted up its backmost segment, slamming it to the ground, causing shock waves. Oliver jumped out of the way, making it to the top of a pillar that somehow managed to stay untouched.
"Wow, my body is so light... This thing is freaking awesome..." Oliver said, admiring the armour.
Oliver looked back at the ground, wondering why it had done such an attack. Unlike before, this thing was definitely much more eloquent, so why would it do such a barbaric attack? That's when he noticed the broken pieces of flooring had turned into gold. The fester picked each chunk of gold up with its many hands, then proceeded to devour each piece greedily. It was kinda disgusting to watch, but after eating the flesh of a Fester, Oliver's perception of what was disgusting and what wasn't, became a bit skewed.
It took the creature exactly 15 seconds to digest the gold, and once it was done, it vomited it all back out from its underbelly mouth. However, the gold wasn't regurgitated in its original form. Instead the gold had somehow been transmuted into weapons. More specifically attachment units.
"Huh... So this thing can copy whatever it had stored in those capsules?" Oliver theorized.
He wasn't sure if that was the exact ability, or just the ability to turn gold into weapons, but one thing he did know for sure, was the Midas touch-like ability it had.
"Assuming that it can turn anything into gold using its 'tail', it'll be a problem if I get hit by it. Though judging by the fact that it didn't turn the whole ground into gold, means that it has a limited range of effect. So as long as I can dodge it, I think I'm fine..." Oliver thought, trying to think of battle strategies.
The Fester picked up the weapons, carrying one in each of its hands. Using its fifth hand, the Fester swung an axe at the pillar Oliver was resting on. Oliver quickly dodged out of the way, but using its third hand, it stabbed Oliver with a spear. The spear stabbed through his stomach, which hurt like hell... Wait, it actually didn't hurt that much. Sure Oliver did feel pain, but surely he should feel more right?
Oliver pushed himself off the spear, causing him to fall to the ground. Staring at what should be a hole, Oliver saw that his body was instinctively repairing itself, including the armour.
"Ew ew! That's so fucking gross!" Oliver said to himself, panicking a bit.
Being too busy with the unnatural healing his body is undergoing, Oliver didn't even realise a hammer was coming straight towards him. He was flung through five walls of concrete, and even a bit of steel, yet the pain was extremely dulled. It wasn't like the armour protected him, but only numbed the pain and repaired the damage so fast that he couldn't realise. He really felt like a monster.
Slowly getting up, pushing all the rubble away from him with a sigh.
"Dang if I keep this up... Even with the insane regeneration... I'll probably die. This thing isn't the same as before. I think it's a rank higher? But what's higher than the hyper class? Damnit! I should've paid more attention in class..." Oliver thought to himself.
Cursing his laziness, Oliver actually remembered one thing he did learn from his "Fester 101" class.
"The higher the Fester's rank the stronger it becomes, but like all things, equilibrium must be met. The higher a Fester's rank, it will gain more weak spots"
Scanning the Fester's body, the most prominent feature other than its multiple limbs, is the large eyes located in the middle of each of its body segments. Remembering the reaction it had when he broke its jewel eye back then, Oliver concluded that this Fester's weak spots were its eyes.
"Its attacks are fast, and strong at that. But thanks to this armour..." Oliver began running towards the monster at incredible speed.
In response, the Fester began swinging its weapons around, attempting to hit Oliver. Though, its efforts were in vain as Oliver dodged all of them.
"This is awesome! I feel like a real superhero!" Oliver thought to himself.
As he thought that, he realised that all this time, he had been able to think extremely quickly. Even though he was in a tense situation, he was able to think and come up with plans quickly. He wondered if that was something due to the regeneration function of the suit refreshing his mind over and over again. However, being able to think quickly didn't necessarily mean he couldn't be distracted.
His focus on his own internal thoughts prevented him from dodging an upcoming attack heading his way. It wasn't until the sword's blade was inches away from his face did he realize the situation he was in. He was surely going to be flung back again, or worse, get decapitated. At that moment, Oliver's brain completely shut down due to fear... So his instincts had to take over. It was as if his arm was moving by itself. His hand balled up into a fist as he punched the sword with great force. The blade shattered into pieces, stunning both the Fester and Oliver himself.
"No way?!" Oliver thought to himself, his mouth was gaping wide.
The Fester was no different. It stood completely still, it's mind processing what had just occurred.
"My weapons... They're three times tougher than diamonds... How did this human... Wait... No... No... No it can't be... I didn't realise it... But that mask... Could he be..." the fester thought, and began to tremble.
Noticing the fear leaking out of the Fester, snapped Oliver out of his trance. He quickly grabbed one of the shattered pieces of the blade, then jumped up onto the Fester's back. Lifting the sharp blade up, he stabbed it into one of the eyes. The Fester immediately began writhing in pain as it instinctively slammed its backmost segment on the ground over and over again. Oliver was flung off the Fester's back like one of those bull riders. Thinking quickly, he used his muffler scarf as a lasso, grabbing anything nearby to support him. As he began to calm himself down, he saw the Fester beginning to eat all the gold it had created. This time though, it didn't use it to create weapons. Like before, it began charging up an attack.
"What the hell is it doing? Wait... Was this attack the one that destroyed the building? Shit, if that attack was able to destroy this much... This one would be..." Fear settled into Oliver.
Noticing his changing demeanor, the Fester couldn't help but feel proud. It had finally turned the tables. It was now the predator once more. It stood straight up, grabbing each end of its underbelly that looked like it was about to pop. It smiled wide as it looked at Oliver.
"I'll kill you... And once I do... I'll become the strongest... Because I destroyed her wings!" It said, sounding completely insane.
Oliver didn't understand a single word it was saying, however he knew that if he didn't run, he'd definitely die. He untied his scarf then intending to run as fast as he could. Even if he could get one inch away from the blast radius, he'd survive. Just one inch.... just one inch.
"You can't run away..."
