The protagonist. (PT 2)

Leaning back into her chair, Olivia began nodding.

"So that's how big the Mitsuzane clan's power is... But that only gives me an idea of them, not Mr. Shirou..." Olivia said, scratching her head.

Oliver grimaced to himself, realising he should've started off with Shirou's achievements instead. He turned to look at Shirou for approval, seeing him give a nod. Olivia looked curiously at the two before taking a sip of her drink.

"Right... So... His achievements are actually well kept within F.A.T.E, with only a few higher-ups knowing of his missions. However there's one feat that's public knowledge at this point... The subjugation of the Death Fester" Oliver said.

The moment he finished his sentence, Olivia spat out her drink right into Oliver's face. He paused for a moment, wondering if he should punch her. However, remembering that Shirou was right in front of him, he decided to let it go this one time. Just kidding no way Oliver would let that go. He sneakily pinched her thigh as he began to laugh.

"What a silly stunt you pulled dear sister... Don't do it again" Oliver said, saying the last part coldly.

Olivia froze up for a second before laughing with him.

"S- sorry...."

As Oliver was busy drying himself, Olivia and Shirou began discussing his achievement.

"So you took down the Death Fester? I mean I learned about it in history class, but they never told us who exactly did it..." Olivia said, shocked

Shirou nodded, explaining to her that he made sure nobody knew he was the one who defeated the death Fester.

"I was only 17 at the time, but I guess the part of me that doesn't want others to know about my achievements never changes" Shirou commented.

Olivia was taken aback by learning the age that he took down the death Fester. From her knowledge, the Death Fester was the only Anomaly class Fester in existence.

Anomaly class Festers are classified as "a creature that doesn't abide by the laws of reality", so even the strongest Festers are only capped around the Apocalypse class. To put it into scale; a Hyper class Fester is able to destroy cities and mountains with ease, a Disaster class Fester can destroy nations and even small planetary bodies, and an Apocalypse class can cause the end of the world; in its most literal sense. The gap between the Disaster class and Apocalypse class is so great, that most researchers agree that it's like comparing the destructive capabilities of a nuke to a black hole…. The Anomaly class was deemed 4 times stronger than the Apocalypse class by F.A.T.E. without critique.

She looked at Shirou once more, but this time with fear. She didn't really understand why she was scared at first; it was just instinct.

Like when a fish sees a shark for the first time. It doesn't know what the shark is, it doesn't know if the shark is good or bad, it doesn't even know if the shark sees its existence as a threat, but nevertheless, the fish is terrified.

Shirou was a man who was able to take down something that didn’t follow logic at the age of 17. That notion was not just unbelievable, it sounded illogical. A specific terror started to bubble inside of Olivia. It wasn't the fear of death, nor was it anxiety from facing someone who was much stronger than yourself. It was the fear of not understanding how someone like Shirou could exist in the world. Someone who spat in the face of the notion of "balance".

"You've realised it now huh?" Oliver whispered

Olivia turned to him with a look of confusion and fear. Oliver's eyes had a mixture of reverence and jealousy in them. A look she knew well.

"No matter how you look at it. If our lives were a story... Shirou mitsuzane would be the protagonist”
