Saviour (PT 3)

Saviour (PT 3)

Sieg throwed the attachment unit at Oliver, warning him that he better come back alive.

"I think that's a given!" Oliver said, smiling.

Sieg smiled back before focusing his attention on healing Olivia and Katherine. Oliver put on his driver, then released the attachment unit.

The A+ rank attachment unit, Daybreak is a cannon-like weapon that shoots out a single bullet filled with concentrated descent energy that explodes into a stream of light. A powerful weapon, however it only has 3 shots and a 2 minute warmup phase. Even still, this attachment unit is banned from use due to how dangerous it was. Releasing such a weapon in close proximity, caused Pierro's sensitive senses to flare up. It roared at Oliver before charging towards him. Seeing no other options, Oliver began to run. Having a 30 foot beast chase after him was anything but easy, especially since Oliver was holding what essentially was a hunk of steel.

"I've got people counting on me... So charge up you goddamn oversized water gun!" Oliver thought as he continued to run for his life.

Dodging tendrils, swipes and even blasts of descent energy, Oliver's body couldn't take it anymore. He tripped on his own feet, causing him to tumble to the ground.

"Fucking hell..." Oliver thought, gritting his teeth.

Pierro slowed down its pace, as if to imply that its victory was assured. However, hearing the start up sound from Daybreak, Oliver smiled a toothy grin. He used all his strength to grab the weapon, pointing the head right at Pierro.

"Boom"

Oliver pulled the trigger, causing a bullet to shoot out and lodge into the Pierro's skin. The bullet exploded, this time doing a bit more damage than before. It was still not enough to kill Pierro though, as it began to slowly heal bank up from the attack. Fortunately, Oliver's intention wasn't to kill it. He quickly ran up to the beast, grabbing a chunk of unhealed flesh. He braced himself before bitting off a portion of it's flesh. The pain caused Pierro to start flailing around, sending Oliver flying backwards. Landing near a heap of scrap, Oliver laughed to himself.

"This is the worst tasting one yet..." Oliver said to himself, wiping away the blood.

[DESCENT ENERGY HAS BEEN REPLENISHED]

"Don't you think I know that you damn- no... You've helped me out a lot... Sorry for always being mean" Oliver said, looking at the driver with a soft smile.

Though he didn't have time to get all sappy. He turned his attention back to Pierro, who was now writhing and trotting about like an injured dog, ironic.

"Weren't you the one who was so uptight about manners? Cause last time I checked, a dog shouldn't attack its master... So how bout I teach a lesson in respect?" Oliver said, a rather devious smile creeping along his face.
