"What? Why can't I move... Why can't I..." It was then, when he saw something hiding in the horde of Festers.
Its hat mocked Sebastian, the jingling sound from it's boots were like insults, and its sharp toothy grin sealed Sebastian's demise. Dropping his attachment unit, he took a few steps back while shaking his head. Noticing this, Katherine asked what was wrong with him.
"Hey, what's wrong with you? Are you really scared of super class Festers?" Katherine exclaimed.
Sebastian began shaking as he slowly began pointing at Deadeye in the midst of the crowd as well as giving her a description of how he looked. Katherine looked back at the horde, finding nothing that looked similar to what Sebastian described.
"Have you gone insane?" Katherine asked.
Gulping, Sebastian was adamant that Deadeye was there. Tired of Sebastian's antics, Katherine clicked her tongue before picking up the attachment unit off the ground.
"I'm taking this back then..." Katherine said before running into the horde.
The Festers' demeanour showed that they felt confident in their ability to kill one Investigator, however they would quickly regret their hubris. From above, two slashes rained down upon them, cutting a good chunk of the Festers in half. Falling gracefully down, and landing on one of the Fester's horns, Katherine propelled herself off. Shooting through the horde, monsters fell one after the other, as if Katherine was a plague that was spreading through at an obscene rate. Sebastian could only watch in awe at the sight.
"Was she... Always this strong?" He thought, with widened eyes.
Slicing down the last Fester, Katherine breathed a sigh of relief, thinking she was done. However, a roar interrupted her short respite, annoying her. Putting down the sword attachment unit she was holding, she switched the javelin she was holding to her left hand, pulling it back as she waited for the Fester to emerge. From behind the buildings, a large advanced class Fester peaked out its head to survey the surroundings. The moment she saw the Fester, Katherine switched on the attachment unit's burst mode before throwing it as hard as she could. The javelin flew through the air at incredible speeds, going cleanly through the Fester's brain. The Fester's movements halted for a moment, before falling down with a crash. Katherine turned around just as it fell, a tired and bored look on her face. She yawned, as an explosion happened behind her.
Looking at her with fear and dumbfoundedness, Sebastian wanted to cry a bit. Katherine tilted her head slightly, wondering why he was making such a face.
"You okay cat boy?" Katherine asked.
"How are you so strong?!" Sebastian yelled.
Katherine covered her ears, making a pout.
"No need to yell..." Katherine retorted.
Sebastian began scratching his head furiously, a bit jealous by her raw strength.
"You have all this strength... But you always just stay cooped up in the communications lodges... Why?" Sebastian asked.
Katherine paused for a moment before shrugging.
"I hate working"
Sebastian was appalled by her answer.
"What do you mean?! You could do so much with your strength! You could save so many people! You can get any promotion you want! But you just squander it away cause you're lazy?!" Sebastian yelled, grabbing her by her collar.
Her eyes darkened, as she grabbed Sebastian's hand.
"Who told you that you could touch me huh?" Katherine retorted, squeezing his hand.
Sebastian immediately let go, wincing in pain. He tried to pull his arm away, but Katherine didn't let him.

"Hey let go...!" Sebastian exclaimed.
Katherine squeezed harder, looking into the poor investigators eyes. She was pissed.
"First you freeze up and make me pull up your slack... Then you tell me how to do my job... then you tell me that I'm lazy... And now... You think I should let you go? You know... I was being nice to you back then. I really pitied you. But you just haadddd to cross the line. You know nobody's here right? It'd be so easy for me to..." She began squeezing harder.
Sebastian's eyes widened, realising that she was being serious. He tried to pull his hand away, but it wouldn't budge. He then resorted to begging, but Katherine's face remained cold and empty. It was as if she wasn't looking at a human, but instead an animal.
"I'm sorry... Please stop... I'm sorry... I'm sorr-" but before he could finish his sentence, she actually stopped.
Putting on a smile, she patted his head before letting his hand go.
"I was just joking of course. Come on don't look at me like that. Was it too far?" Katherine asked, smiling.
Sebastian was horrified at the sight in front of him. She switched so fast again, that even he started to question if he was just hallucinating what happened just now. Looking behind Katherine, Sebastian realised why she had stopped.
Slowly approaching the two, Olivia's squinting eyes began opening up as she realised who they were.
"Hey guys!" Olivia said with a smile, running up to the two.
Elizabeth and Roland were surprised she started running - however quickly followed her from behind. Hearing Olivia's voice, Katherine cleared her throat before glaring at Sebastian.
"Don't say anything..." Katherine threatened.
Sebastian looked away, gritting his teeth with frustration.
Turning to the approaching group, Katherine greeted them with a surprised look.
"You're alive? I thought you died..." Katherine retorted.
Olivia stared at her with a blank expression while Elizabeth was laughing her ass off.
"It was a joke, don't be like that. I thought we were friends now?" Katherine chuckles, nudging her.
Olivia's eyes twitched a bit as she began laughing.
"Yup, totally friends. And you know what friends do?" Olivia asked, laughing slowly.
Katherine tilted her head, looking at her innocently.
"Hmm?"
Pulling out her sword, Olivia pointed it at her.
"They beat the shit out of each other!"
Olivia began chasing after Katherine as she ran away screaming from the top of her lungs. Roland, Sebastian and Elizabeth watched from a distance, disappointed in their childishness.
"Are those two... Really A tier investigators?" Roland asked, laughing awkwardly.
Sebastian watched Katherine run around like a kid, a sense of disgust permeated throughout his body after what he had endured earlier. Before he could pop a vein, Paul approached him and nudged him a little.
“Stop looking so angry. What're you a cat?” Paul chuckled.
Sebastian became even more angry, frustrated that he also thought he was a cat.
“This is bullshit… nothing about me is cat-like…” Sebastian said, crossing his arms.
Despite this, he was slightly relieved that Paul was alive, even if he wasn't in the best condition.
Sebastian wasn’t the only one who noticed the almost psychotic behaviour Katherine displayed. Looking at Katherine, a curious expression grew on Elizabeth’s face.
"Hey... You think she'd be good too?" Elizabeth asked Roland.
He paused for a moment before shaking his head.
"No, she wouldn't be a good fit. Besides, she's too scary..." Roland said, shaking a bit.
Running as fast as she could, Katherine eventually bumped into a brick wall. She fell on her bottom, Olivia quickly catching up behind her.
"I got you now, bastard!" Olivia exclaimed, laughing maniacally.
Suddenly the brick wall began talking, and he sounded very disappointed.
"Investigator, what do you think you're doing to my sister?" Ren asked, his eyes narrowing.
Olivia dropped her sword, as her maniacal laughter became a guilty one. She lowered her head, pouting a bit as she began fidgeting with the hem of her skirt.
"I'm sorry sir..."
Ren sighed, shaking his head. He waved dismissively, before turning his attention to Katherine. He reached his hand out to help her, however instead she slapped it away and hid behind Oliver who was approaching.
"Help me, there's a stupid weirdo who wants to touch me" Katherine exclaimed.
"Aren't you the weirdo though?" Oliver retorted.
She paused for a while, before looking at him.
"I'm gonna hit you" Katherine claimed.
In response, Oliver blinked a few times.
"That's domestic abuse"
The two stared at each other once again, before looking at each other with dumb smirks on their faces. Ren and Olivia watched this, wondering if they had failed as older siblings.
After a bit of banter with Katherine, Oliver suddenly perked up. Looking at the group that had just formed he tilted his head slightly.
"Wait, why are you guys here?" Oliver exclaimed.
Everyone paused for a moment, before taking a look at each other. They had been so caught up in the moment, that none of them had realised that they had coincidentally gathered in one spot.
"Well Roland, this mint haired bitch here and I were heading to the communications tent in the east" Olivia explained.
"Really?! We were going there for the same reason!" Oliver exclaimed.
The two looked over to Katherine, who nodded in agreement.
"Me and that guy over there were heading to the same place too" Katherine retorted.
Holding his chin, Oliver was surprised how well things were working out. Not only has he confirmed that Olivia was okay, a rather strong group of investigators had gathered around him. It was as if someone had planned their meeting.
"In any case, this is something good. With more people, convincing the high ranking investigators should be easy... I hope at least" Oliver thought to himself.
Stretching a bit, he turned to the group with a serious expression. Everyone looked back at him knowingly, before nodding. With their confirmation, Oliver's face softened slightly. Smiling as he took the first stride forward, his scarf weaving through the group.
"Alright... Let's convince some old hags
