Chapter 28: Imperial Cruiser

The team, as they are at the storage room in the Warship, were there in a hiding spot, as the ship has many guards. Pikachu had gone through the vents, and came back. He explained that the ship has a moderate amount of Subspace Soldiers that are on delivery towards at least 6 different worlds, but it will be a while for the Warship to go towards the next reality, and will stay in theirs for a while. However, there are vast security measures. Although this was the case, Pikachu said that they should take over the ship if they don’t want to get caught. Ike however was unsure, as even with that many troops, he doubted they would be able to destroy them all in a quick enough time, and that they could get captured. Then Deedlit suggests that maybe they don’t have to fight all of them at once, but they could take over the ship by stealth, and also they could somehow manipulate the creatures, as they are not smart judging from how they were back at the interdimensional terminal. Crono agreed, but he wanted to simply slashed everything in sight, ignoring the elf shaman’s idea. Lupin and Ike both decided that Deedlit’s idea is the way to go.

First Homer went out, and went to the command center, which happens to have a window looking out into training grounds. He talks on the intercom, saying he has an announcement, as every Subspace Army member on there looks up. The nuclear inspector told everyone to head to the grounds for some training. One of the Primids said that training does not start until 4 pm, till Homer said times changed, and the majority of the army went there without questioning, with every Primid of all seven kinds lined up along with various Subspace Monsters. They were there waiting for their orders, then the yellow skinned idiot told them to just scream, which they all did.

Meanwhile, Samus, Lupin III and Deedlit were in another section, in a wide vertical hall, where there are doors. They are in there to look for a map so they can find the whole cockpit, as they found on another one. As they were climbing up the ladder, a bulky, giant tank-like robot came out of a large gate. Apparently, Samus said his name is Destructor, as she read on the map who runs the ship. Then targets start to prop up all over the place at the various halls that look over the hall’s center. Destructor soon entered “Target Practice Mode”. He started to shoot all the targets, as then the three had to run and dodge every shot that’s fired. They went from room to room, and found nothing of use. Once the three made it up to the top, they found the cockpit room, overlooking the front, and apparently it happens to be at the front. There was only one Primid piloting the ship. It was easily taken care of as Deedlit used her Sage’s Bow to kill it. Then Lupin III went to hack into the mainframe, and find a way to get the ship under control. He told Samus and Deedlit to help Mario, Lucas, Mega Man X and Pikachu, who were all tasked with looking for the Galactic Empire’s ship collection, as somehow ships were viewed as treasure much like gold, and the Master Thief said that they need the ships for a plan he has. So then they headed out to try and obtain them.

Later, both Terra and Sailor Venus were together as they were in charge of destroying any supplies that the Subspace Army was sending to other worlds. They managed to destroy a massive amount, along with any Primids that they met on their way. The two women soon went across a room where they saw some dresses, golden caps, jewelry and cosmetics. Sailor Venus saw that they were those that Atsugessho and Berthier had forced her and her friends and many others to wear. Terra looked another direction to also see dresses, cosmetics and cigar holders, and they belong to Barb-e who did the same to Terra and her friend Celes. They both got bad memories of being mind controlled, so Sailor Venus casted Crescent Beam, and Terra casted Fira, and everything in the room went up in flames. They quickly left the room and Terra sealed the door shut. They both connected with this experience that they were both glad to be cured, and felt good destroying the supplies that their former mistresses ordered. Terra and Sailor Venus continued to go through the supply section destroying everything from Subspace Bombs to Dark Cannons to Turn-to-Evil-Inators. Then at a random conscience, they actually encountered Crono himself. Sailor Venus asked if he was supposed to be doing his job of finding any Portal Balls, food and other useful supplies. He said that he found something better that he wanted the two to see. They both sighed, as they had to go along.

Crono led them both into what appeared to be the room where the Galactic Empire’s ship collection is, and it was huge. Terra questioned if that was supposed to be the job of Mario’s group to find the ships. He said that he just encountered them while doing so, and got distracted when he spotted the Epoch among them, his ship during his old adventures. This gave Crono some nostalgic memories, and wanted to keep the ship despite not holding everyone. The women got upset, until Simon, Ike and Morrigan were on the side to tell them not to worry about it. In fact, as Morrigan saw Crono’s love and excitement for ships, she said she could not resist them, and actually had got into the fun herself. They did not like Crono’s attention on such things, until then, they both saw two other ships. Sailor Venus saw The Ark, a ship that she had owned in her previous life in the Silver Millennium, while Terra saw the Falcon, Setzer's old ship. This gave them nostalgia over their pasts from before the Corruption of Reality happened. Like with the time traveler, they end up looking at their respective ship, and now they want to also take them along after seeing that they are resting in great condition. Simon starts to question if they should keep looking for supplies, but then Ike states that they must first get those ships right at the docking bay, saying it’s right where the training grounds were, and mentions Homer tricking the Primids. They both got worried that somehow Homer might screw it up, but Morrigan intertwined, and mentioned about Link and Mega Man X who were supposed to be the ones at the CCTV room, which is right next to the intercom, saying that everything is alright.

At that moment, Homer was still telling the whole Subspace Army on the ship to scream loader, saying they are wieners if they don’t, so every monster yelled loader then ever, as their throats start to hurt. And many were exhausted, then Link and Mega Man X came into the room, and opened up the hatch next to the training room, where the huge door opens up to reveal there to be a sky pit. The Subspace Monsters were confused over this, but then Link instructed Homer to simply get the Monsters to jump off. Homer sighed, and did so, and that’s what they all did, except that once again, all the monsters started to scream as they fell, but did not do it for long, as their throats all hurt from doing it for so long. Homer was disappointed that he could not have his fun for long. Link told him that this is serious, and that he was supposed to help him search the cameras to make sure everyone is alright. Then Pikachu’s group came in. Pikachu told them that now the one who runs the whole ship is now noticing a takeover from within, and is ordering every Primid on board to fight against the team. In this condition, Mega Man X states that they will have to soon have to head right out of the camera room. Then Link said that the rest of the team already found the ship room, and judging from the security, they should head there right now. Everyone nodded, the Samus and Deedlit came along. They said Lupin III already took control of the ship, and he instructed them to help them all get right to the Ship room. Link explained the situation, but still notes they should go there anyway, as that is where everyone else is.

Then Samus, Deedlit, Mega Man X, Pikachu, Mario, Lucas, Link and Homer all went right to the ship room, and saw that Sailor Venus, Terra and Crono already had picked the ships. However, Homer saw his Pink Sedan there, converted into a hover car. Homer already was glad that he could have his car back, and then Samus saw her Gunship that she left behind there, and found it was installed with a second seat. Finally Mario now sees that his Odyssey ship from his trip around the world is also there, and intact even. And one thing all their ships had was that they are faster, have unlimited power, and like with Samus’s Gunship they can all do interdimensional travel. This made everything convenient. Although Simon thought that they only needed one ship, most of the characters wanted to have their ships, as then Mario points out that even the bigger ship can’t fit all of them, so the vampire hunter stepped down, not wanting an argument, as he did not know much about ships.

They moved all their ships right to the training center, and the 14 all made it to the control center while fighting the remaining troops still on board. They all made it to Lupin III who was still in the cockpit, and was glad that everyone came on time, as a few seconds later they came in, Darth Vader himself is right in the chamber, as the Sith Lord is choking Lupin III to death. Mega Man X was able to save the thief on time by using his Strom Tornado to blast Death Vader out the window. But Vader used the force to drag all 15 out with him, and they all landed on the ship’s outside deck. From there, it’s revealed to the whole them that they were on an Empire Star Cruiser the entire time. They all survived, as they are still in the same reality, except that they are now in the skies above Baffin Island. Darth Vader was in front of them, as the cockpit tower was behind him, with the team facing towards the direction of the back and Vader. 40 Storm Troopers came along from behind him, as the Sith Lord took out his red lightsaber. Darth Vader would reveal to the team that he knew once the “yelling training” was announced, as just the absurdity of such a thing was enough to make the Sith Lord suspicious. He decided that as punishment for delaying their route and deliveries, he decided to kill them.

Then Mario recognized Darth Vader to be the one who actually led the attack on the town back at Ikea. And Vader admitted that was the case, and mentioned that he was sent out to search for them after the team had escaped. Now that he found them, he said that he will kill them on the spot, as he got orders from Tabuu to do so, as Vader mentions that duplicates were made of all of them, and they will be replaced. On the sound of that Mario was shocked, as he got angry over this ordeal, and everyone else followed. With their replacement, Mario spoke about how good, and love and friendship will always win in the end, mentioning his allies from other worlds he made on the way. He mentioned that he, Link, Pikachu, Mega Man X, and the rest will beat him and take the ship. Darth Vader laughed, as he insisted that the Dark Side is not only powerful, but invincible and dared them to try to defeat him and his Stormtroopers. The team were out with their weapons, or in fighting pose. Mario said that they all are ready to face against Darth Vader, saying that the Dark Side will never win in the end, as Mario prepared, as he said “Let’s a go” and led the charge, as the Storm Troopers stood in front as they started to blast their guns, causing the battle to begin.

Everyone defeated all of the Storm Troopers and Darth Vader. Although Darth Vader was dying, he states that they might have defeated him, but he promised them that he will come back to life, and that there is nothing that they can do to defeat the Subspace Army, insisting that they already won. Darth Vader would cough a few times, and then collapse and disappear in smoke. Homer complained that he wanted an autograph from the Sith Lord, as he watched "Star Wars", and Samus just slapped him, as she states that the Sith Lord is not ever going to do such a thing. Lucas already was wondering if the Subspace Army had already won, and that they should just continue fleeing for the rest of their lives. Then Terra told Lucas that they should not give in, as she mentioned she has been in many hopeless situations before, as they still make it, and mentions that if they were unable to stop the corruption and bring things back to normal, they must carry on anyway to defeat Tabuu once and for all to save what is left. Homer already liked Terra’s idea, as he was already both energetic and mad that he wanted revenge against Tabuu for what was done to his whole life and that he took everything away from the safety inspector. Crono joined in after, saying that he simply would like to see if he could defeat Tabuu. Sailor Venus joined next, as she talked about how love and beauty had been taken away by Tabuu through both the Corruption and the Subspace Bombs. Then Mario mentioned the fact that the mind control of their former friends was also wrong, then everyone else joined in, and they put their hands together in one spot and raised to show a sign of teamwork. Lupin III then came in, as he already got a plan, and it involved them using all of the ships they got from the department, then Lupin III even got his own, which was the Wings of Death, which he puts in the deck rather than on the training room with the other ships as he states he had a different plan to do with himself as he will be the one driving the airship, and wanted to get onto a ship as fast as he can. The thief was now in the cockpit, while the other 14 were in the other ships. Lupin III turned the Star Cruiser the other way around, as the sky turned from darkness to a bright blue sky with a few clouds, as the ship flew fast over the speed of sound.

But there was that one guy who was cleaning up the ship from outside, and he fell off, and is now floating there in an astronaut suit being none other than Moleman. He’s just floating there for all eternity, as the ship left him behind as his hook snapped. Moleman had begged and yelled for help, but nobody came.
