Later on, at the Floating Islands, Lucas, Ike, Link, Crono and Morrigan were hopping from each floating island that they found. Morrigan was complaining that she had nothing to do, as island hopping was simply boring, as she says she flies all the time, and sees nothing but endless ocean. Ike would tell the succubus to stop complaining, as he grew annoyed over time listening to her, as the swordsman told that it's no big deal. She then suddenly collapsed from complete boredom, as she then fell on top of an island, while Lucas poked her with his stick to see if she is all right, as he was worried about the succubus. Once Morrigan said she is okay, just malnourished, the psychic youth told her that they have to continue fast, or else she might not get that energy back. Crono also had the same complaints about the same thing, as they have not come against a monster that can challenge them. Ike said that they both should be patient, as they still have a long way to go, and like Lucas was having what the succubus and the time traveler don’t. Then Link told everyone else that he found something. This got the attention of both Morrigan and Crono, who with haste where the first ones to make it to where Link was, to show that the Hero have found there to be a massive floating island that’s the size of a large city with inhabitants, showing from there being a village along with a mountain in the middle, that has a Giant Moon above it with a face. Link knew what that Moon is, the same one that was floating above Termina he heard about from the Legends from long ago. It seems to be coming down closer and closer. Ike told everyone that they should head off the town right away, and both Morrigan and Crono were delighted to head there the right way, as Lucas and Ike sighed, to then be shocked that Link was behaving the same way.
Once the five have gone into the village, Link said that it reminded him of one that of Clock Town in Termina, as he remembered from the stories he heard about from his father. They looked around, as they stopped off to play minigames, as Crono and Morrigan were exited about that, interacted with the villagers, and eventually they stayed in an Inn. Morrigan and Crono were satisfied, however, both the former and Link were awake. Morrigan said she still has no full enjoyment, and she told the Hero that she had seduced him. Link was groaning that he had to deal with yet another woman coming onto him just like what happened with the Sailor Senshi. Then the Happy Mask Salesman appeared right where they were, outside their room. Link jumped upon seeing this strange character yet again, from the last time back in the Lost Woods. The Champion asked how the H.M.S even managed to even get here, or better yet how he even survived the corruption, as this guy seems like he would of been the first to go. The H.M.S just says he's more than capable to deal with this, and he wants to change the subject. He told them both that he wants a request, he told them that he had a mask, known simply as Majora’s Mask. Link knew right away what the Happy Mask Salesman was talking about, knowing him from Legends of the Hero of Time, but Morrigan did not have an idea, as she would not from Hyrule. So the H.M.S. would explain about the beginnings from when Link defeated it, to the present, where it was now resurrected by Tabuu as a commander so he can use it to destroy the island they are on, and also guards the Star Rod, the very item that they were assigned by the SCP Foundation to retrieve. The H.M.S. said that they have three days to gain the mask, as by then he will be leaving the island to head off to somewhere else. Link said that they should get some sleep, then tell Ike, Lucas and Crono about the situation, as Morrigan agrees, as this could get them out of the island quicker and right back to the base.

In the morning, they all ate what food they carried out from the Ikea cafeterias, then Morrigan and Link told everyone about Majora’s Mask, and its connection with the Moon and the Star Rod. With this news, Ike said that judging from the distance, they should get going now, as they only have three days to make it to the top. Lucas had dealt with climbing mountains while he was fighting against Porky, and he agreed that he should help out with them, knowing from his journey before, as Link was glad that everyone in the team was on board. So once they finished their portions, they headed right out to the mountains. Upon scaling them, they suddenly had to deal with Subspace Army troops, and along with them many enemies that Link recognized, only being Redeads, Like Likes and Octorocks. They were able to reach the top of the mountain quickly, and once on the peak, they then saw that there was the Fountain of Dreams there, with the Mask presiding over it with the Moon above and the Star Rod there. Once Majora’s Mask spotted them, it transformed into a giant humanoid beast, as it started to attack without actually talking to the group.
They were able to defeat Majora’s Mask, although it was difficult. Link was already exhausted himself, as the Mask was blown up, and the Moon simply disappeared. Crono said that he has not been challenged by such a fight in a long time, while Morrigan said the same thing, as it gave her the excitement that she needed. Then the Happy Mask Salesman appeared right where they were. Lucas right away asked who he is, and Link simply said that he’s some weird guy he “knows”. H.M.S. said that he’s glad that they got Majora’s Mask as looked at it, but was disappointed that he can’t have it with its evil power, as he stated is what gave it its appeal. Everyone just looked with their eyes open and jaws dropped when the H.M.S. said that. Ike would demand to know why would he even say that with complete anger, but the H.M.S. chose to ignore him. He would tell the five that the Star Rod, dropped right behind them, and states that he has to get going now, but did tell them that he wants to defeat Tabuu for good and wished them luck, and states that they will meet again in the future, as he says to Link that he would explain everything that was stated on the texts back at the Underground Maze. Then he disappeared right in front of their eyes, but not before he told them that the island is not real, and is just simply a way to trap Majora’s Mask, warning them that they should try to get off it as quickly as possible.
As Lucas grabbed the Star Rod, the island started to disappear, slowly fading. With this, Ike saw that they were some more floating island up there, and then the 5 all jumped from one to the other, until Morrigan flew, threw a Portal Ball, and went in, with the other 4 following her in. The giant island along with its inhabitants all disappeared without a trace.
The five got right back at Battlefield, and the team got reunited at once. Ike said that everything that they have been through was weird on the Floating Islands, in that they went to a world that is just an illusion, all just to get the Star Rod. Mario noted that they all saw weird things, noting that the term is subjective, but knew that just meeting each other due to Tabuu’s influence was weird for everyone around, as all their worlds have different logic, and the fact they are in different artstyles. Then Simon said that they should be heading back to the SCP Foundation Town back in the Infinite Ikea, everyone agreed, as then Deedlit threw the Portal Balls, setting it to that location, as they entered it.
