Chapter 13: Crystal Tokyo

Lucas and Sailor Venus jumped out the portal into an alleyway. The latter told the former that he should stay put for a moment, as she peaked out, and did not like what she saw. As Lucas asked what’s wrong, she lead him to take a peek to see that they are in her home reality, in Crystal Tokyo, except that all the buildings are shaped like perfume bottles and makeup applicators, and even makeup parlors are in every corner, with the population having women all wearing the same clothes, differing only in facial features and hairstyles. They all wore the same exact makeup, and olive green skin. Then there were the pictures held up as advertisements, with the face of Berthier, the new queen of the world place everywhere, along with makeup ads with Atsugessho, Berthier’s loyal droid servant whom the women resemble, selling cosmetics and perfume.

Sailor Venus creeped out, saying she does not want to be here, as she explained to Lucas in short detail that are simple and not in depth. Lucas understood, as he can tell this used to be her home, but they have to move on, and since they are out of portal balls, they will have to find some. Lucas has two Pigmasks he kept, and they should wear them as a disguise to get attention, as he states that they will look out of place with them not wearing the blue dresses or having the golden perfume cap. Sailor Venus agreed, as she knew the “drones”, the copies of Atsugessho are just zombies, so they avoid attention as long as they don’t make any trouble. They walked down the streets, and they saw the drones putting on more makeup, spraying perfume, and once upon what seems to be a temple, they are worshiping Berthier, the mistress of Atsugessho, who in turn is the mistress of five more figures, who are none other than the five Inner Senshi, Sailor Venus included. And they dressed exactly like Atsugessho herself, from the golden performance cap on top to the red gem on their forehead with the upside down moon, down to the red lipstick. The only differences is the individual hairstyles that went unchanged except they were more shiny and styled, the facial features, and that they had purple eyeshadow instead of the light blue that Atsugessho has. With that Sailor Venus walked quickly as she heard them mourn that she had been “corrupted” back to what she used to be, a Sailor Senshi.

Lucas now understood a bit more of why Sailor Venus did want to talk, as he could tell the other 4 were her friends, and they got turned evil, but he did not know why they worship her. So then she told the psychic powered youth that they will have to sneak into the Moon Palace, where the seat of Queen Berthier’s power is, except that it now has the architecture of a perfume bottle with towers in the styles of lipsticks around it. Sailor Venus explains that she believes that there might actually be some portal balls there, as she assumes they might be there. The two went through an alternate entrance in the side duct to avoid attention.

Soon they got out to find themselves in the middle of a factory, where the dresses of Atsugessho were being made, along with copies of her dark green heels and light green pants. Upon crashing down, the duo were caught, as all the drones looked at them, and took out giant mascara brushes, eyeliner pencils and power puffs they use as swords, spears and shields respectively. Primids also came formed from the Shadow Bugs. Then a voice came from the intercom, belonging to Atsugessho herself. She spoke to Sailor Venus, saying she’s glad she returned, saying that this is a chance for her to finally turn herself in, and become more “beautiful” again and be redeemed for her betrayal from her last mission to conquer a reality where she came in contact with this unknown substance and an orange cat. The Sailor Senshi refused, saying that she will cure all the Atsugessho Droids, and turn her friends back into the kind-hearted Senshi they used to be. The Makeup Droid laughed, and ordered the drones to capture her so they could transform her back. Ironically, she ignored Lucas, despite the fact that he's the odd one out in appearance with his large head and dotted eyes unlike the anime eyes this reality.

The two started to use their powers to fight the army, while running across the building trying to find if there are any power balls around. They could not find any, and suddenly there were too many monsters in general for them to fight, so they both got captured and were taken to the throne room, where they saw Berthier, the Ice Queen on her seat with Atsugessho by her side. The Queen told the drones to take their leave, then Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter came in, except they are dressed like Atsugessho from their olive green skin, blue skirts, red lipstick, golden caps attached to purple pump, and like Atsugessho they share that that and their forehead gems, unlike her though and like the drones, they have purple eyeshadow.

The four came in and while walking in an elegant manner. They all kneel before their mistress and her mistress, as were all glad they captured Sailor Venus. Berthier told them that she will take care of Lucas, mentioning that Porky is already wanting those Tazmily Villagers and others back, and she will start helping him out with returning the psychic youth, so she sealed Lucas into a capsule to send him out. So then the former Sailor Moon and Jupiter held Sailor Venus in place, as Sailor Mars and Mercury got the copy of the same blue clothes, jewelry, makeup kits and other items of beauty from Berthier’s brand. Atsugessho told them to do the makeup, but there was no need, as her commanders were eager to get their sister back from being “wicked”. All the Atsugessho commanders mocked her, saying it’s unusual for her to reject being pretty, especially someone who is supposed to be the embodiment of it. With all 5 of them having their red lips in wide grins as they were going to first apply some concealer, but suddenly an orange cat appeared out of nowhere, revealing himself to be Garfield. He attacked Atsugessho, kicking her. The four commanders got upset when their mistress got attacked, as they all used their perfume pumps to push and spray acid from their red mouths onto him, till Lucas appeared and used PSI Magnet to absorb the Acid Spray, as he quickly used a charged PK Love to get out. Berthier walked into the room with two Pigmasks, and now free, Sailor Venus used this chance to beat up one the Pigmask to take all his portal balls, went to Lucas and Garfield and threw one of the portal balls, opening one up. Sailor Venus went into that portal first in a complete panic. Lucas followed through, and Garfield was now scared doing a yikes and jumped in time when his tail barely made it, but did.

Berthier was upset that this happened, as she almost got her back as a servant, but Atsugessho and the former Inner Senshi said that they would eventually get her back in time, once they made it to her. In the meantime, Berthier simply told Atsugessho and the Makeup Senshi to take a rest and add more make up to their faces, while she comes up with a plan to get Sailor Venus back into their command. Atsugessho and the four Senshi all left, while Berthier went on a computer to contact Barb-e, and told her that they should work together to get back their minions, which the latter agrees.

Afterwards, the three made it to the other side right in a garden with ancient ruins, and both Lucas and Sailor Venus thanked Garfield for saving them. He said it’s not really him, but it was Artemis, a friend he made, as the white cat requested for him to save his friend Sailor Venus from the corruption of vanity, and he is the one who threw the vial and cured her. Upon hearing her friend made it out, she’s glad he made it out somehow, and requested that Garfield reunite them, as Lucas wanted the same, as he believed that his community must be at the same place, if Dr. Audonuts knew the safest place to be during the corruption. However Garfield explained that he can’t lead them back due to how there are rules about bringing people over saying he’s with the SCP, who are very strict about this kind of thing, not placing much trust on those outside the organization, and everything else, and he already is on their watchlist due to his resemblance to Gorefield. He said that they have to be found by them directly to be saved, or to head right to their headquarters that is no longer in their reality. The cat however did wish them luck as he took one portal ball and went in. As the duo are trapped they had nowhere to go, but Lucas said they can’t give up, and he related to Sailor Venus to the loss of close ones being mentally enslaved by villains, as with his brother Claus. She felt cheered up, knowing they have to continue, as surviving together is their top priority at the moment.
