CHAPTER 5: HYRULE CASTLE
CHAPTER TEXT
Link, Mario and Pikachu continue on their journey across the fields, as they made it to Castle Town, making their way to Hyrule Castle. Link was horrified that the corruption had turned the citizens of Castle Town into ReDeads, but also Like Likes, Octorocks and Bokoblins, and Guardians strolled the grounds searching for intruders. He told both Mario and Pikachu not to make eye contact, as they crossed the town. The few survivors that were there were afraid, hiding in certain spaces. This state of affairs made Link concerned about Zelda, as what evil she is doing, what Ganon is even doing to her really concerned him. They concluded that maybe they could find out in person. Mario states that they may need a plan to get into the castle, as he points out the place is heavily guarded, pointing out to the fact that the entrance is guarded by six Darknaughts. Link decided it would be a better idea to sneak through the castle, as he came up with a plan he explained his his partners. Mario and Pikachu thought that it was a good idea, so they went to a secret entrance that Link knew about, and once they got to the main chamber, they got ambushed by a bunch of Moblins, Lizafos, Primids and many more. The three now have to fight their way through, as Link says that the place has many puzzles that they must complete. Pikachu was shocked about this, not liking the idea of having to do both at the same time, until Link said that he will take care of the puzzles while they deal with the fighting, which Pikachu agrees, and Mario thought about helping Link with the puzzles, until the Champion said that it's better if he helps the electric mouse, as the plumber sees why.
Going through the castle while completing the puzzles that they found on the way, Mario, Link and Pikachu all made it all the way to the throne room where they found Princess Zelda. Link wanted to know what happened, then for Zelda to turn around, as she looked… different. She now has purplish skin along with black lipstick and eyeshadow, and long lashes. She still has her blonde hair, but her dress is still the same but is reddish black and the Triforce is inverted on her clothes much like with Hilda of Lorule. She even has marks of the Calamity Ganon on her body. Link was beyond belief that someone so pure turned into someone sinister, almost as evil as Ganon. Mario remembered suddenly that the Shadow Bugs in Hyrule are exactly the same as those in the Mushroom Kingdom and knew how Peach and the others turned evil, because of the purple-blackish substance. Mario told them both that they have to escape right now or else face certain death, while Link tried to reason, Mario knew better, so he grabbed Link to escape, and Pikachu followed. Unfortunately the doors were locked shut, as Zelda laughed at them, mocking their concerns for, and saying that heroism is dead, as she claims that evil always win in the end. As Calamity Ganon had then came in beside her in another form, the usual Gannon from Ocarina of Time. Gannon roared with upmost rage, taking out his two swords in a fighting stance. The trio are forced to fight him, but they could not kill him, as even the Master Sword was too weak for the beast, as Ganon gained too much strength from the Shadow Bugs, as his weak spot was super enforced, leading to their defeat, as Mario, Link and Pikachu are all lying down on the ground, in a weakened state. Zelda congratulated Ganon for winning, as she encased Pikachu in a mechanic seal, claiming that the Pokemon is stolen property, and she sent through a portal and claims that he belongs rightfully to Team Galactic, who she said conquered the entirety of the Pokemon World.

Ganon grabbed Link and Mario in his arms, as they both were about to die, as he was about to eat them alive, Link quickly used his free arm to press an arrow into Ganon's veins, gushing out blood everywhere. Mario quickly got out of Ganon’s tight grip, and freed Link by flicking a fireball at Ganon’s eye, as he lets go of Link. The plumber snatched one of Zelda’s portal makers, created one, as they both went through to risk their chance of getting into another dangerous world, just before they were caught. In response, both Zelda and Ganon laughed, as they both knew that either way, Mario and Link would face more trouble, as they plan on having their allies get them back to their world.
