Chapter 17: Progressing the plan

“We start the teleportation training now.”(Diuscrucis)

Looking around, I spotted a clear patch of grass a few meters away. Pointing to it with the shovel I start talking.

“Teleportation is an easy spell to use. Well, at least for certain people. You see, it requires a massive amount of visualization and imagination. If you can’t visually imagine yourself at the location you want to teleport to perfectly. All sorts of bad shit will happen. These things could be anything from missing your target location by a few feet and falling down a cliff, to teleporting somewhere while missing some of your body parts. Now see where I’m pointing to?”(Diuscrucis)

“Ya.”(Tomo)

“You are going to try to teleport there. The easiest way to do this is to imagine walking through a doorway. Using magic to make the doorway, you visualize yourself at your new location and you should appear there after walking through the door. After mastering teleportation to the point that you can consistently do it without messing up, I suggest that you practice new ways to teleport and find the method that is most comfortable to you. The easiest way for me to teleport is to sink. I sink into the doorway at point A and land at point B. Now give teleporting a shot. Don’t worry. I will dig you out as necessary.”(Diuscrucis)

“So much faith…”(Tomo)

Seeing Tomo roll her eyes, I couldn’t help but smile. After several seconds, it looked like she was about to step forward. As she did, I kicked a rock into her face. The small stone hit her so hard that she flinched, tripped and teleported while falling backwards.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!”(Tomo)

Unfortunately, she was teleported in three pieces. Her legs were where she was previously standing, her weapon and an arm were at the target location, and she was buried up to her head. Changing my grip on the shovel I walked over and started digging her out of the ground.

‘Sing song voice’ “And the Champion had to put the Hero back together again.”(Diuscrucis)

“Why?!”(Tomo)

“I am testing you situational awareness. Besides, if you die out here then we can see how long it takes for you to put yourself back together again.”(Diuscrucis)

‘Yelling in horror’ “There are better ways to do that Sensei!”(Tomo)

“It’s necessary to learn how to teleport when under fire. If you can do that then you can escape under almost any situation.”(Diuscrucis)

After I finished digging Tomo out of the ground, I started filling the hole back up. As I was filling it, Tomo died from blood loss.

{She is growing back her limbs fairly quickly Dad.}(Lulu)

{But her clothes aren't repairing themselves.}(Lulu)

{Good. I have an excuse to strip her without actually doing it. In that training room her clothes repaired themselves to quickly.}(Diuscrucis)

{But, when you died earlier your clothes were destroyed. However, when you came back to life they were as good as new.}(Lulu)

{Destroying clothing and tearing them apart are two diffrent things. The former will repair your clothing completely after some time. The latter will leave you with a bunch of crap that is pointless to have. }(Diuscrucis)

Turning towards Tomo, I catch the rock she threw at me.

“Good to see you back with us. So how does it feel to have died and brought back to life?”(Diuscrucis)

“Disorienting.”(Tomo)

“Don’t worry. By the time we are done here, you would have mastered not screaming after resurrecting.”(Diuscrucis)

‘Groan’ “Fine. Let's continue.”(Tomo)

Getting off the floor, Tomo gets ready to teleport again. As she takes a step forward. I threw the rock into her arm and caused her to teleport sideways. Her arms were teleported several feet in front of her and her head was the only part of her body that was underground.

{Soon my goal will be complete.}(Diuscrucis)

* Several hours later -

After several hours of practice, I successfully stripped Tomo. Though her cream skin is less flawless than I thought, the few scars she has on her body seem to add more to her character than make her look less attractive. Looking around the garden, I see a few dozen dirt patches and stray body parts representing everywhere she got herself buried or ripped apart. Though now Tomo is currently teleporting continuously throughout the garden with ease.

{She has mastered teleportation in only a few hours. I don’t know if I should be proud of her or annoyed that she learned it so quickly.}(Diuscrucis)

{That aside. You have had a boner for the last four hours. Is that safe?}(Lulu)

{No idea. Though now that I think about it, Tomo has been blushing for a while now. I wonder why?}(Diuscrucis)

{She redressed herself five separate times. Her cloths are covering the important bits but, she is showing a lot of skin. I think she likes you seeing her in such a state or she noticed your boner and doesn’t want to say anything. Either way. I think she might have a crush on you. So when are you going to fuck her?}(Lulu)

{I’m not like my sister Lulu. I’m not going to force myself on her. Although, if she asked me to then I will be more than willing.}(Diuscrucis)

Saying that I took a step back and saw a rock pass by where my head used to be.

“You need to work on your aim.”(Diuscrucis)

“Hmm…. I’m done training in teleportation Sensei. What are we going to do next?”(Tomo)

Turning to my right, I see Tomo walking up to me with a slight spring in her step.

“Well we are going to kill Heartfallen’s father tomorrow so rest up. Feel free to choose any room in the castle to call your own and see you tomorrow.”(Diuscrucis)

Turning around I start to walk towards the castle. As I did so I could barely hear Tomo's mumbling.

‘Mumble mumble’ “....... ime for plan B.”(Tomo)

‘Glancing back’ “What did you say?”(Diuscrucis)

“Hmm!? No I didn’t say anything.”(Tomo)

“Right then. See you in the morning.”(Diuscrucis)

Saying my goodbyes, I walked into the castle and found a random couch to sleep on.

“Up…….. Sensei…..Wake… Up……… WAKE. UP!”(Tomo)

“Uuaaaaaa!”(Diuscrucis)

Waking up with a jolt because Tomo yelled in my ear, I fall off the couch I was laying on. Looking up at her, I can see a smug smile on her face. She is wearing her customary leather outfit with black cloak and spiked belt. She is in the middle of putting on her bandana and Albion was hanging on her back.

“Ready to go kill an asshole Sensei?”(Tomo)

‘Groan’ “Fine let’s go.”(Diuscrucis)

{Lulu. Where is Heartfallen’s house?}(Diuscrucis)

{It is a little outside the city. Towards central zone.}(Lulu)

Grabbing Tomo’s arm, I teleported us a few hours out of the city.

“So where are we Sensei?”(Tomo)

“We are a few hours away from the city and the Heartfallen household should be that way.”(Diuscrucis)

“Then let’s start walking.”(Tomo)

“I’m just having a disappointing time in west zone aren't I.”(Diuscrucis)

“A three story house with a width of five windows. Listen, I will be surprised if this place has more than four rooms going from the front door to the back door. And he is trying to act like a criminal leader. Ha! This place even looks like a regular middle class house. It has stone walls, a tiled roof, and even a chimney..…. ‘Sigh’ I need to stop thinking that all evil people are idiots. It’s going to bite me on the ass one of these days.”(Diuscrucis)

“So how are we going to do this?”(Tomo)

“Simple. You stand on my tail and I launch you through a third story window. I will then walk through the front door and murder everything that moves. Sound good? Sounds good.”(Diuscrucis)

‘Blank stare’ “........”(Tomo)

Crouching down into the athletic sprinting position, I move my tail to the side for Tomo.

“We don’t have all day Tomo, let’s go.”(Diuscrucis)

“Yes sensei!”(Tomo)

Saying that, Tomo places both her feet on my tail and balances herself so she doesn't touch the ground.

“Oh! before I forget. I suggest you cover your face.”(Diuscrucis)

Giving her some words of warning, I launch her into the air and through the center window of the top floor.

‘Crash’ “Ha. Still got it.”(Diuscrucis)

Sprinting forward, I materialize my frozen gatling gun and brake down the front door in a blind charge. Looking around the front entrance, I can easily see a few dozen people staring at me in shock. We are in the middle of a grand entrance covered in art and each side of the room has a door. The back wall has two staircases leading to two different balcony like areas and it seems that nobody here has a weapon on them.

Turning my gun towards them, I place one hand on the joystick on the top of the gun and hold down the button on it..

{Wow…. You're just mowing them down with icicles. They are just going down by the dozen.}(Lulu) ‘Ring’ Ring’ Ring’ ‘Ring’ ‘Ring’

{We have already killed like fifty dudes. I wonder how many are left.}(Lulu)

Looking at the third floor stairs I see a huge mass of muscle falling to the first floor. ‘Boom’ When it lands, the floor cracks and a large puff of smoke comes up. As it disappears, I see an eight foot tall, extremely muscular, shirtless green man with short blue hair. As he readies himself with a great sword in each hand I take a step back.

“Come at me bro!”(Diuscrucis)

Screaming at me, he charges while moving both of his swords in a downward motion. ‘Shattering noise’ raising my gun up to stop it, my gun shatters upon contact with the swords. Jumping back I create a sword and pull out the pistol I created earlier. ‘Aiming the gun, I fire six shots into his face. ‘Bang’ ‘Bang’ ‘Bang’ ‘Bang’ ‘Bang’ ‘Bang’ each end every shot hit him squarely in the head but they did no visible damage beyond setting his hair on fire.

{Well, It looks like guns don’t work.}(Diuscrucis)

{Yaaa. He looks pissed.}(Lulu)

‘Clang’ ‘Clang ‘Clang’ Putting away the pistol, I create a shadow sword and start trading blows with this guy.

“God you're strong. It seems like I won't be able to beat you head on now huh?”(Diuscrucis)

Every time our swords hit each other, I was pushed back several steps. Using our last collision to make some extra distance between us, I get rid of my swords and create a two handed spear. Moving my body to create a lower center of gravity, I get ready for his next attack.

“Raaaaa!”(The Bruce) ‘Clang’ ‘Snap’ ‘Boom’

‘Cough’ cough’ “Ha. Gotcha….”(Diuscrucis) “Crunch’

Roaring at me again, Bruce charges and swings both his swords down on top of my spear. The force of the collision snapped my upper arms and created a small crater in the ground with me at the center. Seeing that he was still pushing down on my spear, I create two swords that shot out of the ground behind me and into his open eyes. The weird crunching sound came from his skull breaking and him falling over and crushing his own arm.

{It doesn’t matter what level you are. Eyeballs are still the weakest part of the body.}(Diuscrucis)

{Do you think Tomo is doing all right?}(Lulu)

{Probably.}(Diuscrucis)

Taking a few steps away from the crater, I heal my arms while making my summoned weapons disappear. Looking toward the second floor, I see Tomo stagger out the door while using her weapon as a walking stick. She is bleed from multiple cuts and her clothes are in a dire need of repair. Pulling out my phone, I start using the prison app while watching Tomo stagger down the destroyed stairs.

“How was your first meager operation?”(Diuscrucis)

‘Gasp’ Gasp’ “I hate you. ‘Gasp’ I hate you so much right now Sensei.”(Tomo)

“Well good luck killing everyone else Tomo. I still need to set the bombs. Head home and rest up. Then you can come find me when you're ready to do some more killing.”(Diuscrucis)

‘Gasp’ “Alright Sensei.”(Tomo)

“Firstly, I am not a lier. I don’t know when she started wanting my dick. I only know when she actually asked for it. Secondly, I am not going to tell you every last detail of my life. If I do then we will be here for thousands of years and I would like to keep this story as short as possible. I mean I am already breaking my habit of only talking in five minute intervals. And lastly, we are skipping eight months to what is probably the best day I have ever had in west zone. So be happy!”(Diuscrucis)

“Are you ready to go Tomo?”(Diuscrucis)

“Yup. Let’s go to the new tavern.”(Tomo)

“Then let's go.”(Diuscrucis)

Teleporting to a slightly run down part of the city, Tomo and I stand in front of a three story tall building that has a sign that says “Dragon’s Rest”. The building is made of stone and scrap metal but I can tell that even if this place looks a little shabby, it was built for durability instead of for visual appeal.

“Hey you two! I’m glad you made it! Damn! The two of you are looking great!”(Heartfallen)

Turning around I see Heartfallen waving while running at us from across the street. She looks just like she did when we first met, with the maid outfit and all.

“Hey, it’s been awhile. Are we late for the grand opening or were you just waiting for us?”(Diuscrucis)

“The grand opening won’t start for another half hour and wow. That suit looks good on you. You could have come without those girly sneaker tho.”(Heartfallen.)

“I agree.”(Tomo)

“Oh shut it! I will not tolerate any bad remarks about my appearance. I spent hours trying to look nice for the your grand opening and I am proud with what I have on. Unlike someone I know who spent six hours trying to find the ideal dress that obviously doesn’t suit her.”(Diuscrucis)

“Hey! I got a great red dress. It allows me to move freely, run, and look attractive all at the same time!”(Tomo)

‘Slowly shakes head’ “You have no sense of fashion.”(Diuscrucis)

“I don’t want to hear that from you!”(Tomo)

‘Giggles’ “You two sound like a couple. Thanks again for sending my father to prison by the way. I really appreciate it.”(Heartfallen)

Saying that, Heartfallen motions for us to follow her inside. As we follow her, Tomo starts mumbling something about couples while blushing. After going into the building, we are guided to a to a table and given some cups of water.

“The menu is on that board above the bar area and the bathrooms are in the back.”(Heartfallen)

Looking at the menu for a few minutes, we decide what we want to order.

“I will have a steak and some scotch.”(Diuscrucis)

“I want a salad and some tea.”(Tomo)

“I will bring them to you right away.”(Heartfallen)

“She seems happier compared to the last few times we were here.”(Tomo)

“Now if only she could stop thanking us for things that happened months ago.”(Diuscrucis)

Getting our food a few minutes later, Tomo and I start eating while we watch people start walking in and ordering food. A short time later, the entire tavern becomes loud and rowdy.

“I miss places like this. Maybe the next time I come here I can start a bar fight.”(Diuscrucis)

“Please don’t.”(Random passing waitress)

“Ha Ha!”(Diuscrucis)

“So, Are you still going to blow up most of west zone?”(Tomo)

“Once again Tomo, yes I am and no amount of complaining is going to change my mind.”(Diuscrucis)

“Why are you using this plan anyway?”(Tomo)

“My sister used a similar one to take control of all the cartels in Hell. The plan was to make all the organizations fall apart and quickly pick up the pieces before they could reorganize themselves. Then the pieces that you couldn’t get can be easily wiped out using their former comrades. I am going to do the same thing but instead of picking up the pieces, I am going to do a huge sweep to leave no survivors.”(Diuscrucis)

“Even if you arrest many innocent people?”(Tomo)

“If they are innocent then they will be released from prison so they are fine.”(Diuscrucis)

“They are still going to lose their homes and livelihoods.”(Tomo)

“Not my problem. That is just the backlash of war. Stop glaring at me. I know what I’m doing. Anyway I should go. See you later.”(Diuscrucis)

“Wait!”(Tomo)

Teleporting before Tomo could grab me I appear on a tall construction project. It is 15 stories tall and is mostly just the metal pillars and floor boards creating the building. Pulling out my phone I called all the prisons and had them take positions outside the blast radius around west zone. Then I pull out a small black box with a red button on it. Before I push the button Death yells at me.

“Stop!!!!!”(Death)

Turning around I see Tomo standing next to Death in her leather outfit. They are a few dozen feet from me.

{How the fuck did she change clothes so quickly!?}(Diuscrucis)

{You have been talking to the prison wardens for several minutes. It’s not that surprising. More importantly. How did she get Death to help her?!}(Lulu)

“I’m sorry Sensei but I can’t allow you to ruin the lives of so many people.”(Tomo)

“Ok….And why is Death here?”(Diuscrucis)

“I just wanted to enjoy the show.”(Death)

“...... Ok then. ‘Sigh’ Fine. If you don’t want me to blow up west zone then try and stop me. Death, hold this.”(Diuscrucis)

Tossing the box to Death, he catches it and walks the a side of the empty floor. Looking at Tomo, I see her take Albion in both hands and gets ready to jump at me. Creating two shadow swords I face Tomo with a smile on my face.

“If beating you is what it takes then so be it…”(Tomo)

‘Cocky smile’ “Let’s see how much you have improved over these last few months Tomo! Prove to me that you are capable of facing off against the Horseman of Death!”(Diuscrucis)

“I will show you that all my training wasn’t for nothing Sensei! I will beat you!”(Tomo)
