Daydreaming

What is dharma?

Dharma is why the Buddha wasn’t doomed to live his life starving on the streets,

Dharma is why people are poor no matter what they do,

Dharma is also why no matter how much a person eats, they are unable to feel satisfaction,

Dharma is also the connection between these things, the various paths between them, that lead to each other, away from each other, forward, the path to a higher plane, the path to spiritual growth,

Dharma is why I’m writing this poem,

It's why I dare to love,

Why I dare to fall into the abyss,

Just to drink your piss,

Because god, you’re heavenly,

Why do I want to know the way?

Just to get in your pants, dear lover, and love you forever,

Would I throw it all away?

For the warmth between your legs,

No, you don’t need to shave, so hairy, grimy and wet, god, I love it this way,

If you ever thought I was a religious man, you’d be wrong,

Because I’d throw god away,

Just to play this love song,

He would understand,

This is also dharma in a way,

Because god built it that way,

And who am I to disobey,

Will your father make me pay?

For loving you all day?

For breathing in life,

All the things you’d do for me,

If you loved me, it would make me cry,

I’d rather savour it, this fruit, I favor it,

Maitreya will lead the way,

Little Red Riding Hood, I’ll follow you,

Ask me thirty thousand times,

And I’d still choose you,

Please ask for proof,

I want to give you an offering,

For your role in this play,

You're so divine,

When you have an eternity,

Of satisfaction, of wine, my girlfriend and her best friend,

Do you want some as well?

How much can you afford?

Will you pay?

If you can’t, don’t ask,

Have your homework in by Friday,

Thus, the river flows outwards,

Love feeding the people,

Letting them pass the day,

Satiated, such sad songs under the moonlight, a poet doomed to dance, the sad sin he's bearing, just air, almost nothing,

Samantha in her pyjamas, sleeping in, on Saturday,

Why am I so gay?

It's dharma, its my way.
