Achievement: Ironically Pathetic

Congratulations brat, despite your newfound strength, you suck

The next monster you pity will kill you, with any luck

Just because your ‘Jerk’ class no long restricts your skills

You’re still just a brat with no respect for what he kills

Twig’s mind was too tired to process everything he felt

Even while he shivered, he felt like his brain would melt

He’d started walking in his home’s general direction

Dwelling on the monster’s eyes which held his reflection

System Message

You must interact with no one, change your heading now

Distance yourself from everybody you know somehow

Any interaction with a known System Error

Could unleash unprecedented chaos and terror

He skimmed the message and confirmed it seemed like it was true

It was a real status screen, coloured in a cold blue

And though his feet were begging to walk toward his hometown

He thought of putting them in danger, and somehow slowed down

“So I am destined to stay out here and take no action

Even if I die, it’s for my hometown’s protection

And even if I survive, one day I’ll be deleted

No matter how many monsters I have defeated”

Unfairness weighed upon him, and he wanted it to end

But he was paralyzed by fear of hurting just one friend

He rubbed his left forearm with his right hand and took a breath

“No matter what I do, the end result will be my death…”

Achievement: Spineless

The least that you can do is go gracefully in the end

Or is to be a whining child the best that you intend

It never ceases to amaze me how fragile you are

I’ve never seen one worse than you, and I’ve travelled quite far

“That’s it, what the heck is your problem, why always me?

I’ve done nothing to upset you, far as I can see!”

Twig felt something snap inside is heart and he cried out

Not caring what monster may have heard his reckless shout

Achievement: Blind

You’ve still got one eye, but you may just as well be blind

You’re such a burden to the world, so why wouldn’t I mind

Once you’re gone, in time the madness all will be resolved

In fact, without you it may even be quite quickly solved

Again, Twig’s rage gave way to pure confusion and despair

He didn’t understand and he could hardly even care

He almost wished a monster would come find him right away

And make it so he wouldn’t have to suffer one more day

He looked up through a gap in the trees at the cloudy sky

Thinking back to the last time that he was about to die

A weird dream that made nonsense of his useless status screen

Still he had no idea what all their words could mean

While he looked up at the clouds though, something seemed quite strange

The grey and white clouds’ colour started to distort and change

It was an almost purple huge, that felt eerie and wrong

He wondered what it could be, and he found out before long

He also rediscovered his resolve to fight to live

And give a quick escape all the energy he could give

For as he watched the sky, he saw something which shouldn’t be

Massive portals opening everywhere he could see

The sky became more portal that sky in a short moment

There was just one thing their green and purple aura meant

And Twig, along with everybody all across the land

Watched with his own eyes a scene no one could understand
