As Jack was about to open the room door, David stopped him.
“W-Wait! Don’t open the door yet.” David said.
“Huh, why? Are you still not ready yet?” Jack asked.
“No, that’s not the reason. To be safe, we should let Dragonire open the door since he’s our frontline.” David suggested.
“David is right, since I’m the tank, so let me do it. You guys can stay back and be safe.” Dragonire added.
With that, everyone positioned themselves behind Dragonire.
“Okay, I’m going to open the door now, so get ready.” Dragonire announced.
“Yeah, we are ready.”
“Yes, go ahead.”
At this moment, everyone’s heart was beating intensely.
While everyone feared for their lives, Dragonire, on the other hand, wasn’t too worried about his own life. Instead, he was most concerned about the pain, as being a tank for the team meant that pain was unavoidable.
‘Fuck. I know I won’t die, but man this is going to be a very painful day for sure.’ Dragonire thought. “Alright, I’ll open the door now.”
With that said, Dragonire unlocked the door lock and opened the door slowly.
Looking around the hallway, Dragonire didn’t spot any Goblins nearby yet.
“How is it?” David asked Dragonire.
“Hmm, I don’t see any Goblins around. I guess we are safe for now.” Dragonire replied.
The plan was to take things slowly and not attract all the Goblins at once, otherwise it would be too overwhelmed to handle.
“Alright, I’ll be going now.” Dragonire said.
So the job for Dragonire was to go out and bait five to ten Goblins at a time, and bring it back to this room. In other words, he would be the only one heading out and bait, while everyone else remained here in this room.
"Oh, wait. I forgot something," Dragonire said as he turned around and looked at Sasha. "Hey, Sasha, can you buff me?"
“Ah, my bad! I totally forgot.” Sasha replied.
Right away, Sasha casted a support skill that buffed Dragonire’s movesment speed by 50%. This means he can now run 50% faster than his normal speed.
“Thanks for the buff.” Dragonire said.

“You’re welcome!” Sasha replied.
In an instant, Dragonire exited the room and proceeded to carry out his task of baiting the Goblins.
As soon as Dragonire exited the room, Carl immediately closed the door, but he didn’t lock it since he knew Dragonire would be coming back later.
“Phew! That was so scary!” Carl said.
“Everyone, remember to focus and not let your guard down at all times!” David reminded.
“Yes, leader!”
“Carl, stay a little back. You’re too near the door.” David instructed.
"My bad." Carl said as he took a few steps back, ensuring not to block the door in case Dragonire comes back.

After a minute of wandering, Dragonire finally spotted a group of Goblin soldiers.
‘Honestly, should I go solo on this? If I do, none of my teammates will be in danger; they can just stay in the room and await my return.’
After careful consideration, Dragonire made up his mind.
‘Change of plans. Sorry, everyone, but I believe it's better if I tackle this alone. That way, we can ensure that no one faces any danger.’
Suddenly, Dragonire's expression turned serious as he resolved to take on everything solo. He didn't want to jeopardize his teammates, knowing that just one player's demise could result in game over.
Immediately, Dragonire loudly yelled to reveal his location to the Goblins.
“Hey, you green bastards!! I’m here!! Come and get me now, you motherfuckers!!!”
Upon Dragonire's yell, within a short span, he found himself encircled by hundreds of Goblins.
‘Shit, this is low-key terrifying. I can't believe there are so many of them. Well, there’s no turning back now.’
Dragonire roared as he charged into battle, “Hahaha!! Bring it on, you green bastards!!!”
And with that, the battle began.
Meanwhile, inside the room, the four players could hear the intense commotion outside; it was remarkably noisy. Moreover, peering through the peephole in their room door, they could witness hundreds of Goblins running through the hallway.
Seeing that, David gently and quietly locked the door.
“Holy shit! What in the world is going on?!” David whispered to everyone.
"No idea. Did Dragonire mess up or something?" Carl said.
"That's weird because if he did, it would notify us that we've failed the quest. Since we haven't received any notification yet, this means that he must still be alive." Sasha explained.
“This is bad! We have to save him! We can’t let him die, or else it’s game over for us!” Jack said.
Everyone was looking at David, the team leader, expecting him to say something.
David struggled to find words that would comfort his team as he grappled with his panic mode, making it difficult for him to think clearly.
"We can't save him... If we go outside right now, we’ll all die. There's no way we can fight so many Goblins at once; that's just seeking death for us." David said.
“Huh?! Are you serious?! You know it's game over if he dies, right?!”
“I know! But since the quest is still ongoing, that means he’s still alive. The fact he’s still alive up until now, this shows he’s not someone who dies easily. Also, remember what he said to us?”
“What??”
“He said we should trust him. We were doubting him earlier thinking he was weak because he was classless, but looking at it now, it seems like he didn’t lie when he said he won’t die easily.”
"So what should we do now? Are we just going to sit here and place all our trust in him??"
"Obviously not. Instead, right now, we need to think of a new plan quickly. I just hope he can stay alive until we figure out what to do," David said.
Everyone felt bad for not being able to help Dragonire. They could only pray and hope that Dragonire could stay alive until they come up with a new plan.
