Dragonire’s team lineups: Dragonire (Classless), Thomas (Archer), Takeshi (Mage)
Valon’s team lineups: Valon (Warrior), Xavier (Assassin), Amelia (Summoner)
Being the only one without a class, Dragonire found himself at a disadvantage, making him the weakest among all the players present. Not only did other players possess weapon and armor advantages, but they also had skills advantage. After all, having a class meant they could acquire additional skills from their class Skill-Tree.
Despite the disadvantages, Dragonire wasn't worried because he knew he could catch up to them easily. In fact, getting stronger wasn't what concerned him; rather, it was the prospect of enduring the pain necessary for progress that troubled him. After all, who in the world enjoys suffering? If he had a choice, obviously, he would wish to avoid it.
KRAARRRR!!!
The moment the match started, the Goblin Emperor immediately activated an active skill called "Berserk." It's a buff skill that doubles one's speed and power.
RAAWRRRR!!!
Even without the Berserk skill, the Goblin Emperor was already as fast as the players. Now, imagine how much faster and more powerful it would be with the skill activated.
Players from both teams instantly felt the pressure as the Goblin Emperor unleashed his Berserk Mode.
Taking the initiative, Dragonire stood at the front to tank for everyone, but his efforts were futile. All the Goblin Emperor did was use its shield to blast Dragonire away, causing him to crash into the battle arena's wall.
BAAAMMM!!!
CRASH!!!
"KUUGGHH!!!" Dragonire coughed up a considerable amount of blood.
Just a single hit from the Goblin Emperor, and Dragonire lost 95% of his total health points, leaving only 5% HP remaining. With such severe injuries, it might take a few minutes for him to recover. This also means that, at this time, he won't be able to help his teammates temporarily while regenerating.
‘Fuck..! That hurts…’
Roughly a minute and a half later…
"Nooooo!! I don't wanna die! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!" Thomas screamed. However, it was too late; his body was sliced in half by the Goblin Emperor's attack, leaving him with no chance of survival.
After slaying Thomas, the Goblin Emperor let out a triumphant roar to celebrate his first kill.
GRAARRRRR!!!
Upon witnessing Thomas's demise, Dragonire became consumed by fury.
“Bastard!!!”
Dragonire couldn’t help but feel angry at himself for being useless.
‘Dammit! If only I could move!’
Although Dragonire wasn’t friends with Thomas, as a fellow human being, he didn’t feel good seeing another human being killed by a monster.
Unfortunately, Dragonire’s injuries hadn't completely healed yet, so there was nothing he could do at the moment. After all, the injuries he had were very serious—broken bones everywhere from head to toe—which needed slightly more time to heal.

A short while later, Dragonire finally fully recovered. Without hesitation, he stood up and went to join the others.
"I have recovered! I’m coming now!" Dragonire declared.
Fortunately, the other four players were still alive when Dragonire joined the fight. This time, Dragonire had grown a bit stronger than before, but unfortunately, he only managed to tank for a few minutes before being defeated once again.
BAAAMMM!!!
CRASH!!!
Dragonire crashed into the battle arena's wall, coughing out blood.
“KUUGGHH!!!”
Once again, he needed to wait a few minutes to regenerate.
‘Tsk! I thought I was strong enough, but I guess I'm still not there yet…’
It seemed Dragonire still needed to be defeated a few more times before he could be on par with the Goblin Emperor.
A few minutes later…
Dragonire recovered at last; once again, he rose to his feet and resumed the fight.
Approximately five minutes later…
HORIZONTAL SLASH!
"Save me! Help! Ah, someone help! Noooooo!!!" This time, Takeshi fell victim to the Goblin Emperor's attack.
In an instant, Dragonire found himself as the last surviving member of his team. Meanwhile, Valon’s team remained resilient; it appeared they were doing just fine even without assistance from Dragonire’s team.
Thirty minutes later…
The Goblin Emperor screamed in anger, unable to believe it had lost; it simply refused to accept its defeat.
RAWRRRRR!!!
The Goblin Emperor coughed up blood, succumbing to an overwhelming agony. Unable to endure any longer, it collapsed onto the ground in pain.
THUMP!!!
It was evident that the Goblin Emperor's body had reached its limit, and it wouldn't be long before he succumbed to his injuries.
“Jeez! Just die already you stupid Goblin…” Valon said.
“Yeah, what a stubborn guy.” Xavier added,
Even though the Goblin Emperor knew its time was near, it refused to surrender and persisted in crawling towards Valon's team.
"So, who wants to put this stupid Goblin Emperor out of its misery?" Valon asked.
"Leave it to me, I'll take care of it." Amelia replied.
Immediately, Amelia commanded her four "Fire Wolves" pets to bring an end to the Goblin Emperor's life.
GROWL!!!
[You have slain the Goblin Emperor!]
Just like that, the Goblin Emperor was gone. With this, PVP was up next.
After getting rid of the Goblin Emperor, Valon and Xavier turned their attention toward Dragonire, and began laughing in a mocking manner. The reason they laughed was because they weren't pleased with the fact that Dragonire's team was utterly useless.
You could say Valon and Xavier were the kind of players who can't stand noob or trash players because they see it as a hindrance.
"Honestly, I just realized we didn't even need to team up, considering how trashy you and your team were." Valon said to Dragonire.
"Yeah, it's unbelievable that we teamed up with a bunch of noobs who contribute nothing and just expect us to carry them." Xavier said.
Only Amelia remained quiet, as she wasn't the type of person who enjoyed making fun of others.
Hearing their comments, Dragonire was pissed off. While it was true that his team didn’t contribute much, nevertheless, Valon and Xavier should still respect his team for at least putting in the effort.
"Bastard! How dare you!!" Dragonire said, his voice laced with anger.
“Hey, relax. We’re just stating facts.” Valon said.
“That’s right. What’s wrong with stating facts? Noob means noob.” Xavier chimed in.
“You ungrateful bitches! You do realize my two teammates lost their lives, right?! So at least show some respect for their efforts!” Dragonire said.
“Efforts? Hahaha!” Valon laughed malevolently. “Bro, what are you talking about? Your teammates literally did nothing lol. I know you’re mad because your teammates died, but don’t blame us because the only reason why your teammates are dead, it’s simple, it’s because they’re trash.”
“Meh, we didn’t even need you guys to begin with. We could easily get rid of the Goblin Emperor by ourselves. If anything, I think you and your teammates were a hindrance to be honest.” Xavier said.
“Alright, enough talking. PVP is up next, so what’s your decision? Do you want us to kill you, or do you prefer to do it yourself?” Valon asked Dragonire.
“Kill me? What a joke! Hahaha!” Dragonire laughed.
Unable to contain his anger any longer, Dragonire charged into battle, declaring, "Over my fucking deadass! You son of a bitch!"
Just like that, the PVP match started.
