Time passed and eventually a few hours later, Dragonire caught up with Branok and pinned Branok down on the ground.
"Noooo! Aaaaaaaghh! Spare me!" Branok pleaded desperately, his voice echoing with fear.
“Don’t worry, I’ll give you a fast and painless death.”
Without mercy, Dragonire grabbed Branok’s head and crushed it like a tomato.
Just like that, blood splattered everywhere.
The reason it took Dragonire so long to catch up to Branok was because Branok kept hiding. Even with the ‘Time Freeze’ skill, it remained challenging to locate Branok in the dense forest filled with hiding spots.
‘Alright, one down. Now, all that’s left is that Demon Warrior guy.’
Dragonire was referring to Aldric.
In this vast, dense forest, finding Aldric would be extremely difficult. Nevertheless, Dragonire wouldn't give up easily and would persist in searching until he found Aldric.
‘To think that even with Time Freeze, I'm still having a hard time... Damn this dense forest…’

After Dragonire left to search for the Demon Leaders, not long after, Roland returned to check up on his party and Yelena’s party.
When Roland found out his party and Yelena’s party were still alive, he was beyond shocked. When he abandoned them, he was very sure they weren’t going to make it, but now knowing they're still alive, he was confused and wondered how they survived.
At this point of time, Roland still had no idea it was Dragonire who saved them, had he known, he would’ve been even more shocked.
Concealed within the thick bushes, Roland clandestinely observed both his party and Yelena's party. He lacked the courage to confront them, fully aware that his presence would likely be unwelcome, especially given the knowledge that he had abandoned them.
When Roland abandoned them, he didn’t feel guilty at all; it was a matter of self-interest, as he only cared for himself.
After summoning the courage, Roland, for some inexplicable reason, chose to reveal himself to them. With that decision made, he emerged from the bushes and approached them, going straight to offer a greeting.
Upon seeing Roland’s face, everyone was pissed off.
“Roland, you bastard! How dare you return after what you have done to us!”
“Yeah, fuck you! You selfish bastard!”
“Son of a bitch! Fuck you! Go kill youself!”
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
Roland’s party wasn’t the only one who was furious, even Yelena’s party was really angry too.
Instead of being the good guy and apologizing, Roland took it as they insulted him and got mad at them.
"Motherfuckers! What did you guys just say to me?!! Repeat that, I dare you, you piece of shit!!"
Like that, Roland had an argument with them for who knows how long. It was difficult for the argument to end because Roland refused to apologize and kept insisting he hadn’t done anything wrong, and as a result, the argument kept going back and forth.
If only Roland would admit and apologize, the argument would have ended sooner, but unfortunately Roland was an extremely stubborn person.
As they argued, the situation escalated, eventually, Roland’s party turned on him. This time, they didn’t care about Roland anymore, they had made up their mind that they were going to kill Roland no matter what.
To Roland’s surprise, even Yelena’s party joined them as well.
Roland didn’t mind fighting with his friends, but to think Yelena’s party also wanted to kill him, that hurt his feelings a lot.
‘Yelena! Why?! Why..?! How could you?! Whyyy?! Just, why?!! Aaaah!! This has to be a dream, I refuse to believe this!!’ Roland thought.
Roland was going sane, the thought of the woman he loved was also trying to kill him made him feel so heartbroken.
During this time, Roland began to think of all the bad things he had done to others in the past, he thought perhaps this could be karma coming at him. While he wasn’t someone who believed in karma, but based on the current situation he was in, he couldn’t help but think about it.
“Roland, you bastard! Just die!!”
“That’s right! Die and go to hell you selfish prick!”
"I'll never forget the damn years of bullying I endured during high school! I hope you die, Roland! Fuck you!”
“Haha! Even if he dies, no one would care anyway. Poor, Roland! He’s all alone this time.”
“Good, serve him right! Hahaha!”
Throughout this entire ordeal, Roland had been dedicated solely to self-defense, harboring no intentions of causing harm, even as those around him relentlessly sought his demise. However, at this juncture, he no longer cared. Fueled by rage triggered by their hurtful words about him, he resolved to fight back.
‘Nah! Fuck karma! Who cares about that shit! And fuck all these guys too!’ Roland thought.
"I've had enough of this! It's time for all of you to die! Fuck you! Screw every single one of you, motherfuckers!!" Roland roared in rage.
After uttering those words, Roland transformed into a bloodthirsty monster and launched a ferocious attack on everyone.
“Oh, fuck! He’s fighting back!”
“It’s fine! There are eight of us, so taking him down shouldn't be a problem!”
"That's right! Moreover, we have two Healers accompanying us, so we’ll be fine."
Even though Roland was the strongest player present, battling against eight players simultaneously posed a significant challenge to him. In essence, there was a possibility that he might lose.
‘Fuck! I totally forgot they have the advantage in terms of numbers! Dammit! This fight might actually be in their favor in the long run.’ Roland thought.
Moreover, they have two Healers dedicated to healing and buffing their group, while Roland has none. Regardless, Roland acknowledged that he was slightly at a disadvantage. He might be able to eliminate some of them before dying, but he doesn't believe it was worth sacrificing his life just for a few kills.
Roland continued to fight for another roughly fifteen more minutes before he couldn’t take it anymore. With this, he set his pride aside and ran away.
“Son of a bitch! Yo, Roland! Where do you think you’re going?!!”
“Yea, come back here you pussy!”
“What are you guys doing?! Chase him now! Don’t let him escape!”
Like that, they chased after Roland.
Roland had to sprint for his life, urgently racing away as if every step determined his survival.
‘Damn those Healers! If it weren't for them, I might stand a chance to win.’ Roland thought.
