Chapter 50, To Spread his Word

Chapter 50, To Spread his Word

----------------------------------------

The strange woman sat in the city square, hundreds of people gathered around, but keeping their distance.

It was a morning just like any other day, the trees were started to produce orange leaves, and rain was starting to come more often.

But, now, on a slightly cloudy morning, there was a redheaded woman, sitting on the edge of the cities fountain. There was a large sword in her lap, and a strange piece of jewelry covering her eyes.

This woman was rumored throughout the entire dynasty.

There had been hundreds of accounts of her existence, coming from dozens of villages.

The Daughter of God.

They called her, a strange religious figure that seemed to be the direct child of the Heavenly Father. She loved to preach the Word of God, as she called it, and she was very open to answering any question asked.

The most shocking part of it all, was that no matter the question that was asked, she would have an answer!

Sometimes, the answers may be vague, but the further you questioned, the more you understood.

As of now, she was sat in the city square, hundreds crowded around her, and a smile plastered on her face.

But, the crowd parted, a man stepping through, followed by a small group of people.

”Look, it’s the lord!” Bystanders whispered.

The man wore red, a two piece of the most prestigious cloths draped over his body.

One was wrapped around his waist, covering down to just below his knees, and the other was hanging over his shoulders.

He was a tall man that towered over the other humans, but still stood shorter than the woman before him.

He was 5 foot 11, with long rough brown hair that hung over his shoulders. His face was chiseled, and his light brown skin accentuated his muscular build.

It was Ygdridum, the last remaining descendant of the first king!

Sadly, most of Venator’s bloodline was gifted with the inability to reproduce.

Though, Ygdridum’s wife was bearing a child, so the bloodline would continue…

”Daughter of God, may I ask what it is that you’re doing here?” Ygdridum spoke, his officials standing behind him.

He was oozing with power, and even though it wasn’t completely clear, he could tell he was physically more powerful than the woman before him.

”I am here on account of my father, to acclimate the humans to a newfound power in their blood.” She responded, her smile never fading.

”A new power?…” Ygdridum sounded, turning back to the group behind him, as if he was asking if they knew anything.

”Could you explain further?” He asked, turning back to the woman after confirming those behind him were unaware.

”Hmm… Take a deep breath.” She spoke, everyone present heeding her words.

Everybody silently took deep breaths, inhaling as much air as they could.

She waited for a few moments, her smile staying as her head craned around the crowd.

”’Now breathe.” Everybody burst with an exhale, those who had closed their eyes, calmly reopening them.

”Did you feel that?” Everyone looked around, slightly confused.

Though, Ygdridum nodded, responding to her.

”Yes, it was relaxing. I felt a wave of… something, wash over my body.” He replied, making everyone go silent, questioning his words in their mind.

Surely it was relaxing, but, they did not feel a wave of something wash over them.

“It makes sense that you are the one to feel it… Venator was more powerful than many will come to be for some generations.” She started.

”… When you breath, you are absorbing the oxygen in the air, and alongside this oxygen, is an energy called kreus.” She stabbed her sword into the ground.

”Kreus is present within everything. You, me, God, that stone wall over there.” Her hands gestured, “Yet, now, living beings are able to steal away the airborne kreus flawlessly! Before, this was not possible, but with the glory of God, all his children may be privy to growing stronger.”

”I may absorb power through just breathing, you may absorb power through breathing, anyone can! And I was brought here to inform all of you of that factor.” She went silent, continuing to smile as everyone present stood wide eyed.

”But of course, I also here for my father, to spread his words, and his wisdom.” She spoke up, her smile never leaving.

God's Daughter wandered the human domain for a total of ten recorded years.

She increased the working ability of humans drastically by introducing a basic breathing technique, and she even gifted the humans many other things.

She told them of the existence of metals, materials that were harder and stronger than stone.

She helped them control fire quite well, teaching them how to create it and make it hotter with just a few sticks and willpower.

Yet, she did not stop with her stories. She continued to wander around, moving from village to village, town to town.

She told many stories, those like that of the rabbit and the turtle.

She spoke many words worthy of being recorded.

And in the end, they were!

Before the Daughter of God seemed to vanish off the face of the world, a book had been compiled that listed her teachings.

And, on one of the final days she was seen, she had been carrying a relatively thick book.

She spoke to the village she was in, telling them of the contents of the book.

It was the Kalif, but, she prophesized that down the line of history, there will be those that carry with them the word of god, and their teachings shall be written down in the Holy Scripture of God, recorded for those of the future to listen to.

On her last day, she left behind only three physical proofs of her existence.

Zaram, the Holy Sword...

The Crown of God...

And, the revised Kalif.

Just like that, the Daughter of God left the earth, only being present within history for a single decade.

But, with her presence, a new era had started.

The Age of Metal!
