Chapter 1, The Laws of Reality

Chapter 1, The Laws of Reality

----------------------------------------

He awoke to darkness, his body drifting through space like before.

Though, strangely, it did not feel the same...

His eyes, having completely opened, darted around everywhere.

"Wh-" He started, but, instantly, information assaulted his mind, answering his question before it was even asked.

"The Aby-" Once again, he was cut of, information surging into his mind and painfully answering his inquiry.

"How di-"

"ARGH~!" His question was forcefully answered again, a hint of frustration sparking within his heart.

"STOP." His voice rang everywhere, the infinite darkness rumbling violently.

In this same instant, even more information forced its way into his mind.

It was just like that.

He understood it all.

The man, or, figure of energy shaped like a man, floated throughout the Abyss.

Despite not having eyes, a nose, or even a mouth, one would be able to interpret a look of understanding and content on his face.

"I... am, God." He muttered.

Images, shapes, words, visions, lives even, they all spun around within his mind. He could see everything that had happened previously.

He saw the beginning of the Earth.

He saw it's end.

He saw the life of a bug on a planet that existed eons before Earth.

He saw the creation of a universe far from the one he knew.

He saw, felt, and experienced everything that came before.

"So, I am supposed to recreate this. But better. On a larger scale. More, intricate." He, Lokreum, spoke.

"Then so be it. The beauty of the past will not be forgotten. It will be expanded upon." His body that was originally limp, stood upright, his figure condensing from a gaseous essence that resembled a human.

He became a dark entity, a spark erupting within his visage as light's started to appear on his body.

"I guess universes would come first..." He flexed his fists, happiness coursing through himself.

He surely would have smiled if he had the correct organs to do so.

In an instant, his vision changed, his eyes witnessing the creation of countless realities.

Stars formed, chemicals and elements melding, forming countless new ones in the process.

"What a beautiful scene." Lokreum mumbled, watching as the stars revolved around each other. Black holes formed, forcing stars into orbiting their gravity.

Strange barriers blinked into existence, the boundaries of universes forming.

Universes orbited each other, forming multiverses.

Walls trapped multiverses, spawning realities.

"The natural formation of existence..." Lokreum said, tilting his head.

"It is bland!" He said with distaste.

Shockingly, with a wave of his hand, everything collapsed.

All stars ceased to exist, realities disappeared, and there was no longer anything.

"This is all bland." He said, lifting his hand up before him.

"Hmmm..." The infinite, True Abyss bent before him.

An endless floor of thick water appeared beneath him, allowing him to set foot on something, and not aimlessly float.

"Exalis." He said, a decrepit and run down archway spawning before him.

"The gateway to, and from existence." Lokreum said, "A door directly into, and out of my body." His eyes gazed into the strange, and alien structure.

A spark, a spark of energy was created, lighting up the portal as a wavy blue film appeared within it.

"Good!" Lokreum said, stepping into the portal and resurfacing in a completely different area.

He was in another void, filled with nothingness and somethingness at the same time.

There was nothing for as far as the eye could see, but Lokreum could sense Abyssal energy accompanied with Creation essence.

Two particles of forces of life and existence!

And they were currently running amuck within Lokreum, bouncing off of each other and zooming past one another.

"Fun..." Lokreum said, raising a palm to the space around him.

Within his mind, he was running thousands of experiments, formulating concepts that he could use to make this realm wonderful.

He developed hundreds of theses in nanoseconds, his mind racing at speeds no being could ever compare to.

"Let's go with... Natural, and False Laws of Reality." A wave of energy released from his open palm, proliferating the space before him and setting off a chain reaction.

Out of nowhere, elements evolved, growing into hydrogen, helium, nitrogen, you name it. Clusters of metals like brass, iron, copper, and even things like diamond formed.

World's appeared seemingly from nothing, and stars popped awake in but a second.

"The Natural Law of Formation." Lokreum said, watching as his wave of energy travelled infinitely, spawning matter everywhere.

"Natural Laws are the rules that govern a reality... They cannot be defied without a powerful source of energy, or something even stronger..." He muttered.

"False Laws..." Another wave of energy pulsed from his palm.

"False Laws are divided into 4 levels." He held both hands up.

"Lesser Laws." Multiple waves shot from his hands, countless different energies flying into the Abyss.

"Greater Laws." Even more energies flew.

"Supreme Laws." Existence started to tremble.

"And, Taboo Laws." Everything shook, powerful essences spreading out infinitely.

"Taboo Laws are the only False Laws that can rival, or even surpass Natural Laws." Lokreum spoke the rules into existence, a smile forming in his mind.

His hands shook one last time, energy welling up within them.

"And with the rest of the Natural Laws, that only I will ever be able to create..." His hands violently trembled, mass amounts of energy spewing from them and reaching the farthest parts of reality.

"Existence will be stable enough to house life, time, and all other phenomena!" Lokreum dropped his hands, staring out at the now relatively colorful view before him.

"The Natural Laws... With the Law of Life that allow for an object to gain sentience, and the Law of Evolution that allows for anything, be it in life or death, to evolve... Things will be interesting..."
