Chapter 2, A Walk Through Existence

----------------------------------------

...

...

Lokreum sat on the ground within Nonexistence, examining the happenings within his body.

He was surely happy with his work.

He had created a super, yet still natural way of existence.

There were countless Natural Laws! Like that of Order that allowed for matter to exist.

Or that of Finality that cursed all things to eventually reach an end.

Even more expected Natural Laws like that of Space-Time, that made the two exist in tandem.

Yet, there were more Supernatural, Natural Laws.

For example, the Law of Fate, that proved all things had a predestined route to follow, and that all things happened the way they were intended.

Or even, the Law of Bloodline, that made it to where power and memories had the chance to be passed down through descendants.

There were the Natural Laws of Progression, Light, Darkness, Death, Balance, Formation, Boundaries, Recreation, Control, Limit, Order, Disorder, and countless more.

Yet, existing along side these Natural Laws were False ones, that were intended to be used to break these nearly all powerful Natural laws.

The False Laws were a relatively fleshed out system of power, allowing for one to defy the rules that were normally set in stone.

How could one defy Finality and Death?

Well of course, one would need to understand the Taboo laws of Immortality, or Invincibility.

But, how would just understanding these laws grant anyone power?

In truth, Lokreum had truly thought deeply about it.

So, in the end, he came up with a supernatural power system.

Of course, accompanying the Laws, were their own essences and energies.

Understanding a Law, be it a Natural one, or a False one, would grant access to their essence.

If one came to comprehend the Natural Law of Life, they would be able to perceive the Life Essence around them, and manipulate it to their whatever their will desires.

One would be able to twist and turn the Life Essence of another in many ways. Maybe they could choose to overstimulate ones Life Essence, causing them to rapidly grow extra appendages, or to cause one to age faster.

But, harnessing foreign Law Essence wasn't an easy task.

So, Lokreum formulated a specific constitution for all living things.

Using the Natural Laws of Mind, Form, and Soul, he created the Kreuvian System.

With the Kreuvian System reigning over every inch of existence, there was now another supernatural energy that didn't belong to the Laws.

It existed in quite literally everything, but was more prominent in living beings.

Kreus, the energy, was a culmination of the energy emitted by ones form, aka body, mind, and soul. If one knew how to cultivate their Kreus, they could use that to awaken themselves, and open their Origin.

The Origin, is a place within the soul, that allows for the storage of other energies, like that of Law Essences!

While Kreus of course is present within every part of an existence, their body, mind, and even soul itself.

With an awakened Origin, one would have the chance to filter Law Essence into their body through their Kreus, but of course, they'd have to be truly powerful to withstand the grandeur ability of Laws.

False or not...

Lokreum strode through the Inbetween, traversing the space between realities with ease.

His eyes wandered alongside his mind and even his fingers.

He created countless artifacts and concepts in the spur of the moment, predicting the fact he would utilize some of them in the endless future.

Some of the artifacts he created were flicked off through space, to infinitely wander the planes of reality.

But, eventually, his thousands of parallel thoughts finally slowed.

Lokreum, the all-powerful lord of everything, decided he would enjoy utilizing the human mind.

He could see himself getting burnt out if he did not do so.

Where would the joy in life be if he knew everything? What would surprise him if he could see it before it even happened?

There would be no joy, no surprise, and he would not truly, live.

So, his thought speed slowed drastically, and he decided to live in the present.

”So this is what the world truly looks like…” He muttered.

There were a lot less colors, as he was not perceiving all of everything at one time.

Previously, he would be observing a star in its early stages, late stages, even the empty space the star left, all at once.

But now…

”It still truly is beautiful.” Lokreum’s hand caressed his chin, his legs still carrying him through the Inbetween.

Though, out of nowhere, he came to an almost screeching halt.

“Already?” Although Lokreum knew that time differed all throughout existence, he did not expect something to appear out of his calculations so fast.

His neck craned towards a nearby reality, it’s colossal size catching him slightly off guard.

His eyes gazed through the thick reality walls, staring at quite an unusual scene.

...

"It never fails to surprise me Brother. It seems neither of us will ever win." A middle aged woman wearing sunglasses spoke with shock.

"Well, we are both omniscient, the fact neither of us can win is not unordinary..." The old man who sat across from her spoke. He wore a top hat, suit, and a monocle, which was quite an outfit for a friendly chess match.

Even though the two were both omnipotent beings, or so they thought, they had nothing to use their power on!

The two knew that their ideals would clash if they wanted to rule this vast reality together, so instead, they decided to play a chess match to determine who would rule.

Lokreum watched their game with interest, his truly omnipotent abilities seeping through as he accidentally listened to their thoughts.

‘Someone is watching us Sister.’ The one in the top hat, otherwise known as Brother, communicated with the other.

‘I can tell. They seems to be not intent on hiding their prying looks either.’ Sister responded.

‘Correct, and to be able to peer into our dimension with such ease isn't a small feat considering the barriers we have set up... It clearly holds unimaginable power since it would hard for us to even look outside, let alone another looking inside.’

The two continued to chat in their minds while playing their game of chess, as if trying to make it seem like they never noticed anything.

They were even able to hold an entirely different conversation with their words while communicating in their minds.

‘I don't sense any evil intent coming from it, so we should be fine.’ Sister said, making Brother realize the same.

‘It seems so... But it does feel weird to not glance at the origin of this being.’ Brother responded.

‘Yes yes, I can’t perceive anything of this creature… Not even their name.’ For the both of them it was an intriguing phenomenon but they didn't feel scared at all.

Which was of course thanks to Lokreum’s influence.

He planned on thanking them for giving him some entertainment, but he didn't want them to be scared of him before he even showed himself.

Lokreum watched the twin "omnipotents" play for a while and listened to their thoughts, but eventually, he started to get bored.

He could see the art of their game for a few moments, but eventually, it became mediocre in his eyes.

He stepped through the crack in reality before him, and appeared in the dark space where the two omni-beings were playing their chess match.

"Hello." Lokreum waved, fading into the scene before the two.

Being existence itself, he naturally had a connection to everything.

The two false omnipotents could sense this connection instantly.

The sister's attention was immediately caught, and she was incredibly curious as to who the frighteningly powerful being in front of her was.

She could only feel a fraction of Lokreum's power, yet she knew even this was enough to erase her life with just a glance.

"Hello?..."
