Chapter 35, Wishes Granted
----------------------------------------
Julius came to in a different location, a dazzling throne room, filled with powerful existences.
"I've agreed to your proposition, Human God." It was Revenant, who spoke to him, Jack floating behind him.
"I will shatter this reality, and govern it in it's entirety, and you will take control of the core. You will reside within the Infinite Expanse, and rule over Reality with equal authority to me." He spoke.
"I will provide your miniature reality with competition. I'll allow Eldrids to invade your realm to boost it's rate of evolution, and you will assist me in invading other realities when I call for it. The rewards of our wars will be split between our parties, you gaining control of a reality while I receive the next." Revenant explained, Julius being slightly taken aback as the memories of what supposedly took place entered his head.
It was a stalemate!
According to what had been written in the Scripture of Fate, after being caught by Revenant, he had been able to break free by rapidly comprehending the Apocalyptic skills of the Eldrids.
He cast [Apocalypse] upon Jack, severely damaging him, then he utilized his [Indomitable Human Spirit] to boost his power and Authority, which allowed for him to use [Apocryphal Devouring] on him.
Having consumed a large portion of power and essences from Jack, he broke through to the 15th level, and was able to struggle against Revenant, who had long been at the peak of level 14, but chose not to break through for unknown reasons.
He completely obliterated the revived Eldratic Gods, consuming their power and using it, in his fight against Revenant.
It lasted no longer than 15 minutes, but having entered the realm of the gods, even a few seconds was a long time…
In the end, Revenant had come to the conclusion that to truly defeat Julius, he'd risk destabilizing reality completely, destroying it beyond repair.
Of course he did not want this.
And seeing Julius was able to drive him to this point, he realized that it would be better to ally with these creature.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Though the only reason this thought even became an option was because they were both of the same reality, and of the same origin.
Even if Julius did not realize it, Revenant could. He could recognize the craftsmanship of the All-Father anywhere…
So having come to a stalemate, Julius proposed a wondrous idea.
Unbeknownst to the Eldratic Gods, within the core of their Reality, was another miniature, ever expanding Reality!
Julius proposed that he reside here, growing this Reality under his wing, while the Eldrids take control of the Outer Reality.
The Eldrids will continue to pursue their truth, they would shatter the Outer Reality, creating countless lesser realities where they would allow Julius to drop off some of his inhabitants.
They would become the inhabitants of these realms, and the Eldratic Gods would forever infest them with Eldrids, creating infinite chaos and apocalypse.
While they did this, they would also venture out into the Cosmic Seas and capture other realities, giving half to Julius, and taking half for their own.
Of course this was because Julius would be required to help them capture these realities.
It was a win-win for both parties!
Though, no one would know this wasn't truly what happened besides for Julius.
"I have granted your wish, I will come for you when it is time for you to pay off your debt." The voice embodying the vissicitudes of time spoke within his mind, a sharp pain blazing through his existence.
Though he kept face.
He did not reveal his pain to Revenant.
"I look forward to our benefits of our Alliance." Julius nodded towards the two, Revenant's gaze sharpening for a moment.
"As do I." Revenant responded, snapping his finger as he and the God of Sanguine Madness he had somehow once again revived, disappeared into the folds of reality.
Julius' mind was stunned, his eyes hovering over all the other existences within the throne room.
"Leave. I need some time." He spoke, all of them instantly vanishing.
Julius sat there in silence for a few moments, the pain calming.
After it had done so, he had prepared to go out into the space he currently resided in, known as the Infinite Expanse, but it seemed reality had different plans.
{Congratulations! Apocalypse has been avoided! You have dealt with the problem better than the Primordial Sage expected. The System will be shutting down, as the goal has been achieved.}
In an instant, all the existences within the Primordial Reality felt the disappearance of the System, and they couldn't help but drop their jaw in astonishment.
Julius ingrained the visage of the screen into his mind, playing with the essence in his origin.
"Who is this Primordial Sage?" The newly ascended level 15 asked, his eyes narrowing.
…

…
Lokreum and Sage sat within a higher dimension, watching what had just unfolded.
Sage had her jaw agape, and even Lokreum's eyes had widened.
"Alexandria is… Ambitious." Lokreum smiled, his mind replaying the events that just unfolded.
