Chapter 43, New Systems
----------------------------------------
...
A small critter bounced through the grass, its thin, backwards hind legs carrying it effortlessly through the air.
It had wings on its arms, giving it a visage similar to that of a grasshopping bat, a... Grasshopperbat, if you will...
Screech!!~
It yelled, taking flight and gliding even farther through the air.
Chomp.
Out of nowhere, came a lanky, pale skinned creature.
It had four limbs, 2 arms and 2 legs. Each arm had one hand, and 5 fingers, and each leg had one foot and 4 toes. It had long hair black, and rough hair, that draped down to it's rear end. It's face was, sharp, chiseled, and it had reptilian eyes.
It had lips, thick and plump, with a slightly large nose, two ears protruding upwards from the sides of its face.
"Craa... Nt-nt-nt!" It crowed, clicking its tongue with the small creature hanging from it's mouth.
The creature was a Vitarian, well... an early variant at the least.
All the creatures in Julius' catalogue had been placed into the world as early evolutions of themselves, requiring time to take its course before they reached their peak potential.
Another creature of similar stature crawled out of the foliage, though, there were clear differences.
This one had a rather large rear end, and thick and heavy appendages poking out from it's chest.
"Scree! Pah-pah!" The second Vitarian called, producing more sounds that only those two could understand.
It seemed to be... the earliest form of communication!
The first, taller Vitarian responded to it's counterpart, pulling the critter from it's mouth and ripping it in half.
"Ra-a`la." It said, extending it's abnormally long limb, handing the half to the one standing before him.
The second nodded, the first dropping to the ground, taking a seat and eating it's food.
Life is strange.
Sitting atop a branch, high in a tree above the two entities, was a strange creature. A small furred animal, a body that was similar to a monkey and fox put together. It had a slightly long tail, similar to that of a golden retriever.
Strangely, it's face was like an owls, yet, there were ears on top of it's head, and deer antlers resting right before them.
Stolen novel; please report.
The creature, moved from it's position on the branch, crawling down the trunk of the tree and quickly reaching the ground.
"Even life that is not fully evolved... is still a wonderful sight to behold..." A voice came from the small creature, the sound trailing off as it faded from reality, no longer existing in the world...

...
Lokreum reopened his eyes, sitting within a throne at the tip of a mountain peak, quite literally on the top of the world.
The Gods would reside on this mountain peak, secluded from the world. No one would know of their existence here, unless they had managed to climb to the peak and find them for themselves.
As for why Lokreum seemed to sleeping? He had been using normal, mortal powers to create an avatar and use it within the world.
He examined the progression of the Vitarians, as that was all he could truly do, since the other humanoids were yet to evolve.
At this moment, someone was approaching the mountain top, said person having been lower on the mountain, experimenting.
"Father... I have finished my work." A womanly voice sounded, an all-too familiar woman appearing within Lokreum's vision.
"Have you now?" He asked, Alexandria stopping just a few feet before him.
"Yes I have!" She exclaimed, Lokreum telling her to proceed with a nod.
”The way life functions… The Laws of reality state that an existence must have a form to contain their soul and mind… Because of this, the soul and mind are bound to the body, and they cannot leave! But, I have created a Law that splices the aspects! It allows ones soul and mind to leave their body, and be perfectly fine.”
”And, when combining this with kreus, it allows you to use the power of your body while in a spiritual form… It’s a minor edit, but with it, it allows one to easily temper their mind and soul since they are actively using it out of their body.”
"So, to combat the Kreuvian system's problems, I have created a new, minor system, that all existences will most likely go through before they reach true power through the Kreuvian system." She started, "The Belief System! With this system, the Law of Faith will be integrated into all life within this reality. This will allow them to produce Faith essence without having comprehended the law, a more diluted and slightly less powerful version. Just, Faith energy if you will. It does not matter what the lifeform believes in, with it, they will produce energy!" Alexandria said.
"Though, the energy they produce will go to themselves, and the world around them at the same time. So, for example, if a human has a strong belief in you, our God, they will produce copious amounts of Faith energy, improving their talents, body, mind, all of it. But at the same time, they will emit Faith energy to you, and the world around them, energy that will protect them, and bring good fortune their way without having any connection with the Law of Fate... But , accompanying this is a downside! With the Belief system, the excess energy you produce, may make whatever it is you believe in, a reality!" She said happily.
"If someone is grieving over a lost one, and they produce lots of emotion, falling into a bad state of mind, and believing they are seeing the ghost of their fallen... Then they may bring forth a false ego into the world! A fake copy of their loved one!" Alexandria couldn't help but smile brightly, hoping for her father's praise.
"Now, mortals can collect belief energies, passively increasing their mental capabilities, talents, and physical qualities. This will eventually allow for them to control kreus better, making them spend more time in the lower realms."
“My other addition, is the Bloodline System! Even if an existence does not have faith like most others do, they might have hope given to them by their ancestors.”
”The Bloodline System works by passing down the achievements of ones predecessor. So, if a human garners a large amount of kreus in their lifetime, some of it will be passed down to their child through the connection they share by blood. They will gain increased talent in the laws their ancestor comprehended, or even be born with the law in their blood depending on the power their predecessors achieved!”
”It’s a system that will produce monsters some time in the future!”
