Chapter 40, A Reunion of Son and Father
----------------------------------------
Julius sat on a throne deep within space, his face showing a tired expression as he impatiently waited. The God of Creation had told him to find these coordinates and wait, as for soon he would be taken to a new reality.
So of course, he listened.
For how could he deny a creature that could crush him to dust in an instant?
Surely he would have denied them if he even had a sliver of a chance of overpowering them, certainly, he was foolish, but not foolish enough to give his life to death.
So, despite being the most prideful and impatient existence in any nearby reality...
Julius made sure of himself.
He made sure, to wait.
To wait patiently, without any anger, and a perfectly clear mind.
For, he feared what might happen if his temper slipped up in front of an entity of such power.
Thankfully, he was able to distract his mind with the thought of his children, imagining their intense battles as they vied for land within the Infinite Expanse.
"Life... How intriguing." He whispered, his eyes threatening to close.
He was a powerful existence, despite not needing rest, he was mentally exhausted from working his hardest for millennia on end.
He had not had the chance to sleep for thousands of years!
Time flowed different within the Infinite Expanse, and he had no idea how many years had passed here within the Outer Reality.
Fortunately, it seemed he wouldn't be sticking around long enough to find out.
"One of my oldest creations." A voice sounded from before him, making his eyes snap open.
He didn't sense a thing!

"It's been a long while, Shiva... I see it's been a few dozen lives since you last reunited with Citemer..." Julius gazed into the abstract entity before him, his mind racing at speeds he had not experienced since his quick fight with Jack the Eldratic God.
He, felt a strange connection with the entity before him.
Weirdly, his eyes grew wet, and a lock around his soul seem to crumble and break away.
"F-Father." He whispered, memories of his first few lives piling into his mind.
He recalled the two that greeted him upon his first birth.
The All-Father, his creator, and the lord of all there is to be lorded over!
And then memory of Kieron, what he assumed to be his right hand man.
He could remember every detail down to the tee!
He remembered how Kieron lolly-gagged off to the side, playing with a huge moose...
He recalled the All-Father splitting the heavens and birthing his wife from just sunlight and a flower.
He remembered how after his creators left, he was greeted by the earth behemoth, the Titan of Nature.
He could even finally remember his thoughts throughout his first lives clearly.
He had always wondered why his earliest memories were fuzzy, but he attributed it to being billions of years ago.
Yet now, he understood!
His first lives were filled with wonder, wonder of when he would once more see his creator!
"I have been living this life... Life of a god- No, life of, a watcher! Truly, I have been living life as a creator." The All-Father started.
"It's a shame I wasn't there to see you progress in your first life. I'd like to think I've put too much pressure on myself to watch the major events unfold." He stepped through space, approaching Julius who was nearly slipping off of his seat.
"So, I have decided to live life, like you once did. But, of course, I will still be the god I am. It will be a balance of mortality, and divinity!" His creator was within arms reach.
"In order to fulfill this little dream of mine. I will be forming a new reality. It will start small, a single world at most. It will be a joint project! Me, Kieron, you, and a few others you may or may not know." A soft, but unbelievably heavy hand, found it's place on his shoulder.
"What do you say, my son?" Though Julius truly held no connection with the man before him, it was slightly heart breaking to see the man in front of him once more.
Strangely enough, he felt a connection so deep with the person standing before him, that it made him want to rip his heart out.
He had never felt such a deep respect for anyone, not a single soul, not even himself.
Maybe it was the information that was implanted upon him in his first life...
Or maybe it was the fact that he saw how the one before him acted when he was first born.
Just, an omnipotent god, leisurely watching his friend mess around in an oasis filled with animals. Not a care in the world!
Maybe, that's what true power was about.
Having the pure, absolute strength, and undeniable confidence, that nothing will bother you.
"Of course Father. Your wish is my most humble command." Julius shivered, smiling a true, heartfelt smile, for the first time in years.
