{Would you like to specialize into your True Class?

YES/NO TOUCH ONE}

_____________________________________________________________

Colonel had choked when he first saw the cost of his True Class Specialization. Peck Joy said he had expected it. Apparently, the GREAT GAME was sneaky about taking your extra EXP for unique and powerful upgrades. Suddenly, his three billion EXP didn’t seem like a lot of each Tier above this doubled or more. He clicked ‘YES,’ and a new Specialization table appeared.

_____________________________________________________________

{SPECIALIZATION TABLE

{Choose True Class.

War-Titan

War-General}

_____________________________________________________________

“Choose?” That wasn’t supposed to happen. The Class-Path was supposed to lock you into a True Class depending on how well you played since getting your true Class-Path; that was another reason Peck Joy had convinced him not to Tier up until he had fought with his Tier 4 Path choice.

[Uhh, Peck Joy.] Colonel reached out to the cleric.

[Are you ready, my lord, our stealth powers are starting to break down.]

[Not quite yet. I have two options for my True Class.]

[That's impossible.] Peck Joy replied.

[We don’t have time for this. Hurry and pick one. I am sure either one will be fine.]

Colonel gritted his teeth. He knew he didn’t have time; the plan required him to set the whole thing off. He quickly absorbed the prompts.

“Holy shit!” Colonel complained, not having the time to really evaluate. It came down to his fighting style. He knew that both were different, and the spells were probably much different. He was low-key disappointed that there weren't any spell options to help him with his decision. But he couldn’t dwell on that, he needed to make his choice and kick off the final phase of this war.

He didn’t think too long about it, really. While leading from the center was what he would have typically chosen with his former skill set as leader of the JTF, in this new world, he planned to forge ahead by leading his troops from the front.

“Besides, the quote for the War-General seemed a little pretentious. Colonel considered himself a man of the people.“ The Narrator said.

“Then he felt it. The change, his spells had changed, he had changed, some of his abilities changed, and the true power of his Class was about to show itself. Once he picked a spell it would be complete, and he instinctual knew that he was intricately connected to something bigger than him in that moment, a power deep inside of him flared, a green feather with a orange hallow shaft turn to sky blue with a golden hallow shaft. Power flared inside of the legacy, but he focused. He looked at his spell choices but couldn’t help but see the plethora of prompts he had to read through. Title upgrades, item mods unlocked, Abilities upgraded and tiered up, and all his spells had been updated...” The Narrator began, but the Colonel didn’t have time to listen.

He shook his head. “Spell choices.” He said to focus himself.

{Congratulations, you have specialized X 5}

< WAR-TITAN NOTE >

{All War-titan spells have different range and damage values the further they travel away from the War-Titan. As long as they go through at least two active Halos, the power can double per Halo traveled through.}

Choose 1 spell

1. Spacial Halo(Active/Toggle): Within the area of the Halo, the War Titan can redirect any attacks. For every attack redirected, the Titan and his closest allies gain bonuses to spatial awareness. In addition, any enemies in Halo have their Spatial awareness reduced by -10%+CL (where CL is Class Level).

Halo range: 5000 meters radius from War-Titan(50,000 meters in the Sky realm & 1,000,000 miles in the Heavenly realm.). Cast time: Instant. Cast Cost: 100 Mana & 1 -Will-. Cost: 5 Mana per minute. Duration: until out of Mana or toggled off. Cast Cooldown: 20 seconds. Cool down: none. Requirements: Chant, be part of a team or party with at least one other member within range.

2. Vine trap Halo (Active/Toggle): The War-Titan Legacy can use mana to create an area around him that slowly grows vine traps. The more enemies that use physical attacks in the Halo, the more traps are grown. When completed, the next enemy to cross the trap will activate it, ensnaring the player and crushing them. HP and Tier 5 energy is drained from the enemy players while they are entangled in the Halo.

Halo range: 300 meters radius from War-Titan(1500 meters in the sky realm & 5,000 miles in the Heavenly realm.). Cast time: 15 seconds. Cost: 10 mana per second. Duration: until out of mama or toggled off. Cool down: 1 hour. Requirements: Chant, be part of a team or party with at least one other member within range.

3. Titan Armor(Conjured/Buff): The War-Titan Legacy can conjure an armor made of Mana and -Will- that empowers all Spells for the duration of the armor.

Cast time: 90 seconds. Cost: 1000 mana & 25 -Will-. Damage increase: 500%. Defensive increase: 500%. Duration: 10 seconds. Cool down: 90 minutes. Requirements: Chant and wait for Armor to form.

“Colonel really wanted the Spatial Halo asap, but something he had learned on their travels south was that he could buy any of his previous Spell options from the skill store. It just never occurred to him to look at it since he got it right before he came into his trial. So now he could pick the one that could help them now and buy the one he liked later when he had the chance to relax and think it over.” The Narrator said, helping Colonel focus.

He silently thank it. “Titan armor.” It wasn’t much of a question; this was what they were hoping for when they had planned the opening assault. A spell that buffed a Classer’s other spells was always offered at Tier 5 or above, and he seemed to have gotten a super dope one.

_____________________________________________________________

Five thick lightning bolts crash down on the cliffside, cracking the ground below Colonel. He didn’t notice as focused as he was. His Legacy Glasses become visible in their aviator style. They reflected the fort before him in the middle of a massive forest.

While he was little disappointed by the drop in damage increase, rise in cast time, and cool down, the per Spell level meant by Student 6 it will be more that the original value. He also loved the Student effect; he had no idea how it worked, but he was super excited to see it, and he grinned widely. The one major flaw was it only lasted 10 seconds so he didn’t know which Spells to cast first to maximize the buff best.

[ETA Colonel?] Peck Joy said bringing him back from the leveling high. The specialization lightning was the kick-off signal.

[Two minutes for it over.]

[Okay, sir, we will buy you five.] Peck Joy said, and then he felt him go into the dead spot of communications.

‘Wait, I felt Peck Joy from here?’ He thought, shaking his head at the new sensations he was feeling. His Perception range had increased to a ridiculous range. He didn’t have time to muse he had to move.

His Perception was insane with his glasses on. Just another thing he would also have to address later: the clock was ticking.

The Elven Fort was now on high alert after seeing the cliff overlooking their valley fort explode with unknown powers.

His eyes sharpened as he used his -Will- for the first time; it allowed him to chant all his spells at the same time for an ongoing -Will- cost, which answered a critical question on this engagement.

_____________________________________________________________

-Will- Pool

The -Will- Points in a Classer’s -Will- Pool can be used for many things. It is the primary currency of the Classer tab of the skill Store, which allows the Classer to purchase Perks and Talents to boost their Class Path.

Depending on the level of the player’s -Will- determines the type of -Will- the player has access to. The levels are Base -Will-, Lesser -Will-, Greater -Will-, and Perfect -Will-

Base -Will-: The Classer store & access to some type of Idiosyncratic Manipulation.

Lesser -Will-: Iron -Will-; all Will points make spells more powerful, and the player can increase the -Will- cost for bonus power, the Classer store & access to some type of Idiosyncratic Manipulation.

Greater -Will-: Fluid -Will-; Using -Will- points on Spell allows for multicasting for a cost, Iron -Will-; all -Will- points make spells more powerful, the player can increase the -Will- cost for bonus power, the Classer store & access to some type Idiosyncratic Manipulation.

Perfect -Will-: Deep -Will-; Each -Will- point used reduces the cost and cooldown of all powers, Fluid -Will-; Using -Will- points on Spells allow for multicast for a cost, Iron -Will-; all -Will- points make spells more powerful, the player can increase the -Will- cost for bonus power, the Classer store & access to Perfect Idiosyncratic Manipulation.

{Your -Will- Level is Perfect -Will-}

_____________________________________________________________

Colonel had learned what to expect, and getting perfect -Will- was absolutely in the options, but Greater was all he needed for his mission. First he said the activation words for his Halos, all five of them. Now that he was Tier 5, he could use them all to empower his spells.

Speaking of empowering Spells, Colonel chanted the full two-minute-long incantation to cast his newest spell, his Tier 5 spell, for the first time, finishing with the activation words. “Titan armor.”

The world slowed down to a crawl as an ethereal armor ballooned to life around Colonel, increasing his overall size to just under twelve feet tall in a glowing blue and golden Plate Armor. He stood at the center of the armor as he pulled ten ice shards from his soul storage. The world kept slowing down even more.

_____________________________________________________________

He watched the timer on his buff go down slowly as he cast his most powerful spell. The Ice shards floated up from the ground as Colonel used his Presence and something else inside of him to pick them up much easier than before. It took tremendous concentration still, but it was noticeably more intuitive.

_____________________________________________________________

{Ability NAME: Active Presence(Active/Triggered)

Everything in the GREAT GAME has a Presence. From a rock to a wyvern, a Presence is a part of being. The Presence is the magic within everything and how it all connects. The higher a player’s power, the heavier their fully relaxed Presence is. Most have some control over the weight they can and would not exert on others and the world around them.

You are a different case of War-Titan Legacy. For creating a Nascent race, the first ever made in the GREAT GAME, you have complete control over your Presence. Colonel had no idea why he had a passive cost now; he didn’t have time to dwell on it, though, so he used his Presence to squeeze the floating Ice shards as they hovered next to him, promising death to anyone in range. A cold breeze poured off of the shards as they began to vibrate violently.

_____________________________________________________________

He said the last words of his spell; the bastard sword-size ice shards broke apart and flew off towards the Elven Fort at the speed of an arrow.

That speed didn’t last very long. “Grand Meteorite Strike!” He yelled as all of his MP bottomed out. Making him weak in the knees instantly.

“There was a reason why they had chosen this particular cliff. It wasn’t just for the view of the fort; there were many of those all around the fort; it was in a valley. No, it was the height of this particular view point, and height was what was needed for Colonel’s attack could do maximum damage.” The Narrator began to speak as the world around Colonel slowed even more to a crawl.

_____________________________________________________________

{CLASS G-SPELL NAME: Primordial Meteorite strike (Active)

_____________________________________________________________

“He had chosen the area of effect, and the broken pieces of Ice Shards flew true.“ The Narrator continued. “Just as they started to pass the limits of each of his different Halos, they sped up like they were breaking the sound barrier each time; he was pretty sure he heard small popping sounds even in his slowed-down state. For every Halo the individual shards passed they sped up by 100%, which was very noticeable in Colonel’s slowed perception state. The speed at which the final group of broken shards was flying was, for lack of a better phrase, breakneck speed.

“Colonel’s Titan Armor slowly broke down into motes of blue and gold light. Yet he doesn’t take his eyes off of the fort. The shield around it had also grown noticeably. While he watched, a Mana headache started to bloom to life as his Mana pool was drying up quickly like the desert sands greedily drinking the rain.

“The sonic booms sent shock waves throughout the valley, killing every entity in its way, Tier 3 and below instantly(Giving Colonel back a little MP for everyone that died in his halo range), and deafening all but the toughest of the Tier 4s as the winds created by the change in pressure blew back his cloak and destroyed trees as they flew towards the fort. Colonel noticed the shield around the fort gets bolstered by more Mana.

The formally barely visible shield bloomed to life around the Fort as a few streams of water from a school of Manta Rays controlled by the mermaid army hit it, revealing its massive size and thickness. Colonel didn’t expect that scale at all. The shield covered the entire fort and even reached out a thousand or so meters away from the fort walls, protecting their farmland. A long siege was expected, but with the farmlands protected, they could stay behind their shield indefinitely, leaving the Mermaid Army open to a counterattack.

“As the major battle of the war on Serenity began. The semi-opaque shield was hit with a few more water-based siege attacks that splashed off of it harmlessly. Worse, the shield began to expand and thicken with the water attacks, making it stronger somehow. Colonel watched all of this in slow motion, leaving his Perception Ability toggled on. In his hands were two unbroken ice shards, he was going to join the siege eventually but he had just brought a lot of attention on himself. So having a weapon ready was best since he thought he wouldn’t have much mana.” The Narrator continued.

“Then the first small piece of flaming ice reached the end of Colonel’s furthest Halo’s range, and even in his slow motion state the tiny meteorite couldn’t be tracked, it looked like it just shoot of into hyperspace. The results were unmistakable.

“Time stopped as it happened. A crack formed as the small projectile bounced off the thick shield. The shield didn’t have time to recover. When the first half of the full barrage of meteorites shot through the space behind the shield, cracking the first piece. The shield shattered at that, and the second half of the full barrage cut clear through the fort and everything behind it all the way to the ocean in the distance. Colonel’s attack had even destroyed the integrity of the cliff he was standing on, and it began to crumble.” The narrator finished.

“Oh shit,” Colonel said as he was brought out of his Perception ability with that statement. He jumped off the cliff and activated the Feather Fall Spell using the last of his MP before blacking out again.
