Sugar smirked at the table she hadn’t seen it last time since it was Nicole who had leveled their character. She didn’t want to think about that. If the world was real then she might actually have schizophrenia, like some of her exes used to say, and worst it may be magical. She shook her head. She wasn’t going to keep getting distracted by things she had very little control over. She did have control over her progression, and she was going to make sure Nicole was never needed.
‘CAP!’ A voice inside her head said with mirth.
She ignored that too, and checked out her 3 options which she found weird. “Is three options a lot, or a little?” She absently asked speaking to herself.
“You have to be eligible for at least 1 Spec to be able to Tier up. So 3 is good for any player. For you though, your supposed to only have so many options when you already have a Tier 4 Spec as your class. So the limit is based on you not having many directions to walk on your Class-path. The more specialized your Class the less variety you will be offered at your Specialization Tier. This is true for every Class Tier. You were lucky that Nicole took Mage it must have opened up a few more options.”
Sugar read over the options and was excited about where her build would take her character real world or not.

_____________________________________________________________
The cheapest of the options and it was a doozy. The stat increase alone was amazing. If she didn’t have the titles she had, her class stats would be her main source of growth, instead having titles gave her more options at specialization tiers. Getting two spell choices more than made up for the perks of the others.
Sadly she knew she wasn’t going to take the Spec the other two just screamed at her. But it was nice to see that she could have taken her time to develop if she had time, in another life maybe.
She looked at the first of two TRUE Classes. After reading over the prompts a few times it was clear that these Class Specs weren’t simple but they were expensive.
_____________________________________________________________
{CLASS: Void Elementalist(EPIC)
(”THERE IS NO GREATER POWER THAN CONTROL.”)
COST: 200,000XP

The Elementalist is what every specialized element-specific mage strives for. Elementalists command their element with grace and precision. There can only be 13 Elementalists per element per Celestial. The Void Elementalist commands the unique and destructive powers of the Void. Manipulating all of your Void spells becomes child’s play for you. The Void Elementalist is a Magic Manipulation specialist.
This is a TRUE CLASS once chosen all specialization options will be removed, in addition, because of the Elementalist class the player’s Spells will be permanently upgraded.

Now this Class was simply amazing. She hadn’t missed her spells very often because she was in a Dungeon with monsters that had little in the way of self-preservation. The Void Ball was just her class version of a fireball. It burned probably like acid. Acid burns were real burns, and no one gave a shit if you weren’t actually on fire, a burn is a burn.
She was more intrigued by the Void Arrow. It was the first time she realized that she could control her spells after they left her hands. That could be a game-changer in a fight. No one expected a fireball to blow past them only to turn sharply and slam into their unprotected back. Yeah, that would be epic.
Void Heal was not nearly as good of a heal as the Veteran Mage Spec version of it, but it was way better at removing debuffs. She thought about supporting her teammates after combat bringing them back up to full health in a few minutes instead of waiting hours or even days, it was a very tempting choice.
She almost took this class immediately, the only thing that gave her pause was the quote that accompanied the next TRUE Class.

She wanted to be powerful. From the very second she saw her teammates, she knew they were different. Once she had gotten her new Class, she became like them, but then they surpassed her again their leveling speed, and Stats per level were ridiculous compared to her, and she was probably ridiculous to normal players of the game.
If this game was really real she wanted the power to protect her family and team. There was no way she was going to leave her team now. The power those two old men commanded couldn’t be normal. They had beaten monsters twenty and thirty levels over them with relative ease. She instinctually knew that would be impossible for all, but a select few special individuals, and she was on a team with two of those said individuals. Now she was going to be the third.
The Veteran Mage gave her more spells and more options for later advancement, but that was the only pro, it was all cons after that. Less stats per level, it was not unique at all and does not give spell upgrades.
The Void Elementalist was a controller of the powers of the Void, a path of destructive energy, the stats were distributed the best, and the spells were all very team-friendly.
The Void Warlock was just a walking weapon of mass destruction. After what she had seen in the Dungeon, she was worried about what the rest of the world would look like. Her father had always planned for the apocalypse, she wished she had listened to his advice now. There was something that always stood out from the many lessons he had taught her though.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
“Baby girl, I have seen humanity at its best and worst, and disaster brings out both in us.” He had said one day. “If the world ever goes to shit, find good people to support and protect, and they will do the same for you. But remember if society breaks down, the evil men will be more prevalent and open.” He paused and looked straight into her soft brown eyes with his hard dark green ones. “Be brutal, be ferocious, be unforgiving, because one betrayal isn’t a trip to the hospital, no, one betrayal is a trip to a sex slave camp, and that is the best case scenario.”
Sugar wasn’t going to be anyone’s slave, let alone some nasty dude’s sex slave. She wanted the power to make people think twice about challenging her and the people she wanted to protect.
She said “Void Warlock,” with a smile she wanted to become death, the reaper of lives.
Nothing happened, she frowned. Then she slapped herself in the face and touched yes in her HUD.

{YOU HAVE LIVED WELL WARLOCK!}
_____________________________________________________________
“I am one of the first to choose a TRUE CLASS?” She was surprised by that. It had been six full months since the breaking and there had only been less than 100 Classers that had made it to their True Class selection.
What Sugar didn’t know was it was unheard of for ten players to make it to their True Classes prior to the Rare period. Luck clearly played a part in the rise to power in the GREAT GAME, and Gaians were very lucky indeed
Sugar was very lucky.
First, she was on a Legacy team which had benefits way beyond what any player should get. A Legacy team’s benefits were unbalanced. They take less damage than most teams, and they output more damage than all other teams, but they do have the burden of being shepherds to the players of the world.
Secondly, she spawned in a high-level Rouge Dungeon. Dungeons at or below the player’s Tier would need to be cleared multiple times to get more than a few levels, Dungeons above a player’s Tier gave much more bonus EXP and may only need to be cleared once to get a full Tier in one’s Class or Spec, the biggest problem with taking on enemies a Tier above you was they were harder to kill and can kill the player easier. Rouge Dungeon broke many rules of the GREAT GAME, and because of that, they awarded more EXP and increased skill growth.
The third and final reason why Sugar was lucky was the Period. Periods were not arbitrary words on the timestamp. Most find that at every new Period, the creatures the players fight got more powerful and the leap wasn’t small. Even from Common to Uncommon the beasts all learn some magical physical ability. Because of the fact that they entered the Dungeon at the start of the Common Period, the monsters didn’t evolve with the outside world as the Periods changed. This meant while they did fight beings three to four Tiers above them, they were limited by the Period holding back their true potential.
Sugar didn’t know any of this, though, like any other player, she would find out sooner or later. No, she didn’t know what was going on outside of herself, she just knew annoyance.

“No god damnit!” She was not surprised, but she was supremely vexed.
It didn’t last long, she preoccupied herself with choosing her spells.
_____________________________________________________________
Choose 2 spell
1. Void Rain of fire (Active/Summon) A magical ward that opens an unstable portal to the void forest where it constantly rains Void fire. The portal explodes after it drops its payload of burning rain doing additional damage.
Cast Time: 35 seconds. Cost: 75 mana. Damage: Variable + I where I is intelligence + Burn damage; Variable. AOE: 100 meter radius. Range: 150-500 meters. Cool down: 15 minutes. Requirements: chant and hand signs

_____________________________________________________________
With two choices the picks were much easier. She could get one for short-term growth and a long-game one. First was the long game. She looked at all three options carefully and knew that Void Long Gun was a late game or siege gaming element at the very least. She picked it.
_____________________________________________________________
< SPELL LEARNED >
{Minor Void Long Gun (Conjured): A construct of a large-caliber gun classified as artillery, which launches Void projectiles using the Mana of the Void Warlock.
Cast time: 15 minutes. Deployment time: 3 seconds. Cost: 100 mana/10MP per shot. Duration: 1 hour. Damage: 150 + I where I is intelligence Projectile damage/10% knock-back. Effective Range: 150 meters. Cool down: 30 minutes. Requirements: chant, hand signs.}
_____________________________________________________________
The knowledge of the spell entered her mind, and she was very happy with how it worked. She could conjure it prior to battle and store it in her soul until the end of the duration, or deployment whichever came first. She smiled and started doing the hand signs to create one, but nothing happened. Then suddenly she could feel it. A weapon system was ready to deploy. She had no idea how, since she had barely begun the chant and hand signs.
Feeling her confusion the entity around her answered her unspoken question. “You are in the Void young one, all Void spells are free and instant.”
Sugar smiled even bigger. She knew she needed to hurry now. She was going to cheat of course, what gamer wouldn’t game this exploit?
She looked over the other two options not regretting her first choice at all. The choice was between a wide area of effect attack with huge attack range, or what seemed like a precision shotgun that could follow certain targets if needed but the range was much shorter.
Sugar had to think about the real world. She was a city girl and while she didn’t mind getting dirty, she preferred not to if possible. That being said, she also knew the damage an AOE spell could do to a horde of beasts or Zombie attacks on her and her team. The Dungeon taught her a lot, but she also had no idea what the rest of the world would look like. Would she be okay with burning dozens of people alive for power? The short answer was yes. But the long answer was much more complicated. If the game was real and this was her new normal, then she would be a walking war crime. Then again she was a Warlock. The fact that afflictions were added to all of her attacks was a sign that her True Class was not a pretty one. She wasn’t a cleric that buffed and healed everyone, no she was more of a ‘You’re dead you just don’t know it yet,’ player now.
It really came down to playing styles. Everyone played the Game differently, and Sugar was no different. Someone else would have not chosen Long Gun at all and taken the AOE and Cone attack spell with no hesitation. But Sugar was not basic, while she was scared, she had operated scared before, a matter of fact her whole life she made good decisions while in a fearful state.
No Sugar wasn’t basic, she didn’t let her situation dictate her decisions, she always planned for the future, and in her future, she wasn’t wiping out towns with flames from her Void Rain Spell.
So she made her choice.
_____________________________________________________________
Lesser Void Bullets (Active): A barrage of concentrated void mana that can either chase the nearest enemies or fly straight for more damage. The speed of the bullets is the speed of sound.
Cast Time: 15 seconds. Cost: 30 mana & 1 mana per bullet. Damage: minimum 15 + I where I is intelligence, a 15% chance of bleeding, 10% Chance of poison, & 1% chance of necrosis. Range: 200 meters. Cool down: 2 minutes. Requirements: chant, hand gesture.
_____________________________________________________________
Sugar was happy as the knowledge of the Spell poured into her mind. It was a lot less straightforward than her other Spells. First, it had multiple ways to cast. She could cast single bullets or a group. The group shot was a cone attack and did significantly more damage. The single bullet was actually pretty cool, she could designate a target, and when the bullet was released, it would follow the target until out of range or hit for an ongoing mana cost.
Impressed with her True Class she had to see how her older Spells updated.
_____________________________________________________________
< MAGE SPELLS UPDATED >
{Lesser Void Fire bolt (Active) A piece of concentrated Void fire the size of a cricket ball.
Cast Time: Instant, Cost: 11-30 mana. Damage 70-200 + I where I is intelligence. Range: 160 meters. Cool down: 5 seconds. Requirements: chant and hand sign.
Minor Void Shard (Active): A short sword-sized piece of hardened Void shards that has a chance to crystallize the target blood.
Cast Time: 2 seconds Cost:15-35 mana. Damage: 68-188 + I where I is intelligence and 40% chance of slow. Range: 60 meters. Cool down: N/A. Requirements: chant and hand signs.
Void Regeneration (Active): Accelerate the regeneration of other creatures using the power of the Void.
Cast time: instant/Channel. Cost: 1 mana per minute. Regen over time: increase regen by 29 times, remove physical crowd control Debuffs. Range: AOE 10 meters. Cool down: None. Requirements: chant, hand signs.
This Spell has been removed because of your True Class.
Major Void Bolt: A bowling ball-sized bolt of concentrated dark and death mana. Targets hit by bolts have their health regen Majorly slowed.
Cast Time: Instant. Cost:29-50 Mana. Damage:175-400 + I where I is intelligence. Range: 400 meters. Cool down: 3 seconds. Requirements: chant and hand signs.}
{Upgrade these spells in the Spells Perk store with -Will- points.}
_____________________________________________________________
Sugar’s eyes widened as she saw her updated Spells. She knew somehow they wouldn’t be updated until her next tier, or if she were to upgrade them herself, but she was very happy with their current improvements. They had all doubled in damage and range, but Void Bolt was basically a Void Fire Ball without the explosion. She was low-key okay with that. She finally had the firepower she needed to dominate, and she intended to do just that.
Before she looked at her new additions she wanted the see the tier 2 spell she got.
_____________________________________________________________
{Void gas ward (Active) A mana ward that can be placed on any surface. When triggered an explosion of Void mana blasts out. After the explosion, the area around the ward is pumped full of void gas afflicting all things nearby for 30 seconds.
Cast Time: 30 seconds Cost: 35 mana. Damage: 100 + I where I is intelligence + environmental damage; variable. AOE: 10 meter radius. Range: 90 meters. Cool down: 75 seconds. Requirements: chant and hand signs.}
_____________________________________________________________
She just couldn’t avoid the war crime moniker huh? She just had to shrug, but that was about it. The Spell was very specialized and if it worked well, it would be devastating. She wasn’t sure she wanted to see it in action, as a matter of fact, she made a choice not to use it on humans until she saw what it did to monsters or beasts first. Her Summon familiar spell finally updated. She hadn’t forgotten about it because she could always feel Kuma inside her soul, but she had wondered why it hadn’t been updated before.
She would learn later that because soul powers like summoning real creatures or binding powers are always more powerful than the other powers of their tier.
_____________________________________________________________
{Class SPELL: Lesser Summon Void Familiar KUMA(Toggle)
The Void druid can summon a creature raised by them and imbued with the energy of the Void.
Cast time: 15 seconds. Cost: 200 mana & 100 HP -100 Mana per hour. Duration: until death or dismissed. Cool down: 1 hour. Requirements: Chant, Hand Signs & Blood of Void Druid
Familiar has 3 forms all do different things: Chibi Form heals and replenishes mana over time in and out of combat, Base Form is for traveling the Warlock may ride her summon, and Battle form. All forms have innate ability; Leader of the pack.}
_____________________________________________________________
She saw how expensive the spell went up compared to the original and she kinda wanted it to be changed back. Her mana pool wasn’t currently big enough to even cast the spell, with her evolved race once she got back she would have barely enough in the Uncommon period whatever that meant, but then she wouldn’t be able to use any of her tier 3 spells. If she was paying attention she would finally see how the higher-tier Ghouls just didn’t have access to their own higher-level spells which was another reason why the Prime team was so lucky they were in a Rogue Dungeon.
She didn’t though so she just moved on quickly getting anxious about getting back all of a sudden. She looked at the new Pool that was added.
_____________________________________________________________
< NEW POOL ADDED >
{Vitality Pool is how long the natural life of the player has been extended. For every specialization tier, a human gets 25 25-year life extension, while an Evolved human receives 50 years per specialization tier. Profession path and Cultivator path also add to the life extension, the Skill path gives life pause, while life extension extends your life, you are still aging, albeit very, very slowly in some cases, but you age nonetheless, Life pause halts that aging process all together. This is important because once a player’s vitality bar falls below 0 their attributes start to fall at a high rate making them weaker as they continue to age past their natural life span. Time pause is the only thing that can stop that fall. Though tiering up would reset it. The lost stats are unrecoverable, the damage done can not be fixed.}
{Current Vitality Pool: 100 years. Based on double specialization.}
_____________________________________________________________
< NEW ATTRIBUTE EARNED >
WISDOM
Wisdom is a mental stat that determines Tier 5 energy for Classers and Professionals as well as Willpower percentage. Every 1 point of Wisdom is equal to 1 Tier 5 energy per day and .0001 for willpower resistance. The other properties of the attributes are numerous.}
_____________________________________________________________
Sugar was now a little more excited about this game being the real world, just by tiering up you can get more years to live. She already had a life expectancy higher than the average pre-breaking human, and she was assuming correctly that her Vitality pool was on top of your pre-breaking life expectancy.
Seeing that new addition also gave her peace of mind, game or not, everyone wanted to live a long life and even lifelines were quantified in the GREAT GAME. Of course, she understood that an arrow to the head would probably end her life.

< 2ND SPECIALIZATION ABILITY >
{Ability NAME: Mage Mana Shield(Active)
Ability Level: 1
Every base Mage class at tier 3 & 4 gains access to a mana shield based on their highest stat. Intelligence-based shields are dark mana shields. Dark mana is great at stopping fire, wind, and earth-based attacks. Weak to light and water-based attacks, and has no effect against dark-based attacks. Cost: 90 mana regen per hour.
EFFECT: Protect against magic attacks including skill-enhanced melee and range attacks.}

Sugar smiled, if she had this maybe she wouldn’t have been empaled by Lizette...probably... Doubtful. She absently rubbed her chest and froze. Her breasts felt weird. They had never been the same after giving birth, and breastfeeding. But that wasn’t the case now. Her twins had gotten firmer again not quite teenage perky thank Gaia, but her early thirties perky. It was the little things that make you truly happy as a woman.
The smile and voice came back. “You think that’s cool, you can now control your menstrual cycle, and even choose when you want to have kids, or at least get pregnant, that is a game changer for us. Unfortunately or fortunately until the first Diamond Period, fifty percent of all of those children will be at least twins. Got to get the population big enough for the ever-expanding world.” The voice laughed at Sugar’s look of horror. “You can wait until the Diamond Period before you start to add to your family, it is only six years away. A blink of an eye to a tier 3 Evolve human like you.” The voice tried to comfort her.
“Yeah, I’ll do that maybe.” Sugar answered.
The eyes looked in another direction. “Finish up quickly young one, your team needs you.”
She didn’t waste any time.

The smile faded a little and said in a solemn tone. “I am sorry for this but there is a reason why a true class is given out at Tier 5. Your -Will- Pool usually helps with the pain.”
“What.....aaaaaaaahhhhh.” Sugar screamed in pain as all of the information about having a True Class was forced into a mind not specialized enough to handle it. Her brain actually melted as her mana and HP dropped at a precipitous rate.
“This version of me is named Mahakali, and I am a divine Cultivator and Divine Skill user a very rare thing indeed. As you can imagine young one my element is the Void, but the Skill-tree I am the divine of has been locked for too long so I will take you on as a pupil in my skill and give you a profession...
“If you survive, you may call me Master Kali.”
