Chapter 6: Nightly Visitor&Waking up

Nightly Visitor & Aftermath

I looked around in a hurry to find something to substitute a weapon. The moonlight shone through the curtains and therefore was not very bright, but I was lucky and it was reflected on some hairpins with very pointy ends, which were some of today's presents.

Snatching these I quickly hid myself under the blanket, trying to get my wings as low and unnoticeable as possible.

I was just in time, because exactly at the moment I laid still the door opened.

I heard soft footsteps on the carpet closing in on the bed.

Something heavy was put down next to the bed, on Risa's side.

Something was opened, most likely the heavy thing that was put down before.

Again I heard some footsteps, aiming to the middle of the room, there something was put down.

Suddenly a strange, colourless light flowed through the blanket, not lighting up anything and stopping at the walls. There it completely vanished.

Then somebody spoke with a low and menacing, but extremely manly voice while closing in on the bed again: “Sooooo, now that that is set up I can finally have some fun! I just need to not get near that thing and everything will be alright....nobody will hear her screams, nobody will come to her help, I'm going to make you regret taking my brother's love away from me hehehehe........”

Continuing with the creepy laughing he again took something out of the heavy thing that was set down before.

Standing up again he started to lift the blanket.

I jumped up, throwing the blanket at him.

While he threw away the cloth I jumped at him, one of the pins ready in my right hand and the other ones in my left.

I stabbed the face and pressed me away from him with my feet and wings simultaneously.

I drew a hairpin from my left and prepared to jump again at the figure that had already one sticking out from an eye and was stepping back a bit.

I jumped again, trying to hit the chest, but hit the stomach.

At the landing I was unlucky and stumbled because of a rope, but quickly regained my balance.

I now could see the figure a bit better and immediately recognized a woman's body. You could win prizes with such a body! Big breasts and everything else a man would wish for!

Luckily I nether loved a big bosom nor was I currently a man, so I ran the short distance the intruder stumbled back and jumped again. Putting every ounce of strength I had in my muscles, this time I aimed for the throat.

The stab was seen this time and I was caught by one arm, while the other one was still on the face, hiding the damaged eye.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

We fell back together, me on top, but something was beneath us, making a glass-like sound as it broke. Suddenly the light came back from the walls in an incredible speed, much faster than when it expanded, and collected beneath.

The it exploded and scattered the intruder in pieces all over the room while I was flung upwards through the chandelier and crashed into the ceiling. Then everything went black.

I woke up in a nice, soft bed with white sheets. A maid that had been sitting on a chair next to me stood up and said “I will notify the others.” and left.

Looking around I saw that I was in a bright room with big windows and some other beds, as well as shelves with books about biology and some bottles and other containers with medicine in them.

Next I checked my body.

Both of my wings, as well as my legs and my right arm were straightened by some kind of enchanted wooden sticks that floated in a small fixed distance to my limbs. My whole small body, except form the wings and the face, were covered in bandages.

I tried to move but immediately everything started to hut so I stopped. Then I noticed a wound at my back, neat the spine, that hurt only from breathing. That one seemed to be the deepest wound I had.

Well, I still was glad that I survived and also that I fell unconscious. I didn't want to see the sea of blood that should have been there after the explosion, and all the pain would have been horrible too.

Then, after waiting a bit, the door opened and my usual maid came in, followed by a teary but unharmed Risa.

She was clothed and combed properly, but that was for sure not her work, because she, when she saw that I was awake, immediately ran to my side and hugged me while crying and mumbling at my flat chest: ”I'm so glad you're alive!”

It was nice that she worried so much about me, but her love HURT so much. So I just weakly responded: “Risa, please, it hurts.”

She tightened her embrace before letting go and stepping back, but that alone was enough for me to fall unconscious again

not even 1k words, but I felt like I needed to resolve the cliffhanger

for anybody who noticed:

-I changed the fiction-description and the title a bit

-I changed some parts in the “first chapter”, but nothing big, just some rephrasements (does this word exist? got no plan...)

anyway

@Slaggedfire: nope, I dont need your forgiveness, far too expensive (and anyway, white cheddar??? WTF I didnt even know there was such a thing)
