Chapter 15: leaving town

leaving town

After we said goodbye to the receptionist girl we went over to the restaurant part and sat down at the table. I got a seat between Lae and the succubus girl i hadn’t heard the name of yet.

During the meal, which was delicious, nobody really said anything.

After that Lae asked me: “Before we met you, we were thinking about challenging the nearest dungeon. To get there we need to go to the town that exports and manufactures the artifacts found inside the dungeon. Are you okay with us going there? Its a rather low-level dungeon so we are very sure you can safely accompany us inside.”

I replied with a spirited “Yeah, sure. Sounds fun.” I mean, who wouldn’t want to experience that at least once in their lifes?

“Good. We will depart from here tomorrow then.”

The two guys then went to get the necessary stuff for me I wasn’t given when I was thrown out of the mansion while the other two brought me to their inn to ask if there was a room free.

Since there was not, Lae told me: “Then you have to sleep with us two in a room. I’ll just sleep on the floor then, with you and Shelica on the beds.”

Then I was hugged from behind. “No! She’s going to sleep with me!”

I couldn’t refute, since one of her arms was over my mouth, so Lae took my silence as a yes and chuckled: “That's nice of you two.”

After that statement I couldn’t say no anymore.

The rest of the day was rather uneventful, mainly listening to Lae and Shelica talking about past adventures and information about the dungeon we were going to.

We went to sleep early to be able to leave tomorrow morning fully awake. Just, that didn’t work out for me since I was sleeping with Shelica. She used me as a hugging pillow from behind and turned around often, trowing me from her right to her left and rolling over me. It was a horror.

In the morning I had found out I didn’t need to sleep, since I was not tired a bit. What a lucky me! I should try to sleep anyways, always being awake wouldn’t be good for my mind.

And thus our small group then left the town by horse, me sitting in front of Lae and the guards nodding our way when we passed the gate.
