“OLD LIZARDS, COME OUT AND PLAY WITH ME!” A red-haired youth with ruby-colored eyes dressed in loose silver clothes was standing in a middle of an empty space. Meteorites were flying everywhere around him, but each of them avoided him as if he was a danger to their existence. His perfectly chiseled face was filled with an excitement and fighting spirit, his eyes looked to be kind and cheerful. Aura of this man was extraordinarily sharp and noble. If an ordinary mortal would see that man, he would unintentionally kneel and feel reverence toward the man.
A few silent minutes later, the young man lost his patience and decided that if they didn’t want to come out, then he would go in, “Sorry for being impolite, but I don’t have much time to waste with you. My wife will get mad if I won’t get back before a dinner.” The young man waved his hand slightly and space in front of him started shattering.
*CRAAAAACK*
The young man waited calmly for a fissure to become terrifyingly huge, and only after that, he smiled and walked inside of it.
Right after the young man’s body went through the fissure in space, everything around him changed drastically. Previously, he was in a middle of an empty space with only random meteorites flying, but now there were more than twenty planets rotating around a light-blue star. The fissure behind him started closing as if the world was restoring itself.
“PRTVHUGNA ‘THE GOLDEN MATRIARCH’ OKLJUUVANI, I CAME HERE TO FIGHT YOU IN A FAIR FIGHT. MY FRIENDS TOLD ME THAT YOU DIDN’T WANT TO ACCEPT ME AS THE STRONGEST, SO I CAME HERE TO CONVINCE YOU,” the young man laughed heartily as he said these words and his voice resounded thunderously throughout the whole world. His arrogant words and the fact that he barged into this world made sure that all the powerful beings of the world already noticed him.
*ROAR*
Suddenly, a two kilometers long golden dragon with three horns growing out of its head appeared out of nowhere. The young man looked like a speck of dust in front of the dragon, but he wasn’t scared at all; he was actually disappointed because of the dragon’s appearance.
“Brat, I called your ancestor to fight with me, I have no interest in little weak lizards.”
“You puny human, you dared to break into our sacred world and even called out my grandmother. Killing you would be too generous of me, so I will-” Before the dragon could finish his words, the young man waved his hand and an astounding pressure fell onto the dragon.
*CRACK* *CRACK*
The dragon tried to resist the pressure with all his might, but he couldn’t do anything as his scales started falling off his body and a golden blood poured out of his injuries.
“Enough!” A cold voice resounded and the pressure on the dragon vanished. Behind the first dragon appeared a second golden dragon. This dragon was five times bigger than the first one, its scales weren’t just golden in color, they were actually shining with a bright golden light and there were five horns growing out of its head. These horns made the dragon look like a queen with a crown on her head.
Seeing a miserable condition of her grandson, the matriarch felt anger boil up inside of her. She then took a look at the arrogant young human and her expression changed, “So you’re a famous ‘The Strongest’, who appeared out of nowhere and started challenging all powerful beings of the universe? And you’re already at a rank 10 of an immortal ascension at such a young age…” Even though The Strongest looked to be around twenty years of age, he was actually thirty thousand years old. But this age was nothing in dragons’ eyes, their matriarch was the only one who managed to reach the rank 10 of the immortal ascension and she made it when she was older than two hundred thousand years.
The Strongest clenched his hands into fists and a silver light engulfed his whole body. He then looked at the golden dragon’s body and pointed a finger in the matriarch’s direction. A huge ball of silver light condensed at a tip of The Strongest’s finger and then slowly flew out. The matriarch saw the scene and her whole body felt imminent danger coming her way, she opened her mouth and an enormous ball of blue flames started to take a form.
*BOOM*
A silver ball of light was hundred times smaller than the blue ball of flames, but when two of them met each other, they both exploded and space around the explosion was shattered. A horrifying suction force started emanating from the center of the explosion as a little black hole started forming there, gradually devouring surrounding space. The Strongest lifted his palm and a translucent silver shield appeared before him, which stopped any energy from the blast coming his way. Meteorites that was flying past the explosion were all obliterated into nothingness. Terrifying energy waves surged forth from the center of the explosion. A lot of dragons of rank 6 of an immortal ascension and higher started appearing out of all planets and they all were concentrating their full might to defend their planets from just the collateral damage created by collision of two rank 10 immortal ascension masters. When energy waves reached dragons, they all used their best techniques to defend and a lot of huge cracks in the space were created from each collision. A lot of miserable cries of pain were heard from all over the space as each of the dragons suffered injuries and their bodies were now covered in silver energy that continued corroding them over time.
When the energy undulations from the explosion died out and everything became calm, The Strongest was standing in the same place and even his clothes were as clean as they were before the battle. On the other side, the matriarch suffered some small injuries and one of her scales was bleeding. And on top of that, there were now barely noticeable silver specks of energy on her body.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
“I admit defeat.” The huge golden dragon suddenly transformed into an old lady with wrinkles all over her face in a golden royal robes. If there weren’t little golden scales all over her body and five little horns on her head, she would look like an ordinary human being. She lightly tapped on each silver speck of energy on her body and they instantly vanished, then she waved her both hands and all remaining energy waves around the world vanished.
“You are wiser than other old frogs.” The Strongest turned around and teared the space again to create a way out for himself. But at that moment the old lady’s expression suddenly changed and her face was now gloomy and pensive.
“I just received news… You better hurry and reach your home before something terrible happened there,” the old lady said these words and vanished.
“Something terrible?” The Strongest’s heart skipped a beat as he felt that something was off. His whole body became covered in silver light, his hairs and pupils silver in color. Even though his movement speed was incredibly fast, he still needed a few hours to reach his own world from the dragons’ world.
When The Strongest reached his world’s location, his heart stopped beating, his eyes immediately became wet and his soul was crashed to pieces. The huge gates that were the entrance to his world were destroyed, and he saw only endless black flames inside of his world. The Strongest jumped into the world and his mind collapsed when he saw what happened inside.
All the planets of his world were shattered to fragments and the star that was supposed to be the center of the world, was nowhere to be seen. Previously, there were more than a billion living beings in his world and each one of them was somehow related to The Strongest. But now… now there was only a complete silence and an odor of death everywhere in the world.
The Strongest’s legs were uncontrollably shaking, his mind was blank and his entire being was on a verge of collapse. He was just standing in a place and looking straight at the shattered planet, where his wife and children lived a happy life just a few hours ago. He cultivated for more than thirty thousand years and almost all that time he was accompanied by his wife. He had twenty children and all of them were precious treasures of his life. And now he lost all of them because he wanted to prove that he was The Strongest…
His wife begged him many times to stay by her side and not risk his life. His children always asked to take them with him for his adventures, but he always left them in a safe world that he created while he was having fun in the outside universe.
The Strongest tried to calm himself down and try to feel any presence of life in this world. When he finally managed to focus a little bit and felt something alive, he vanished from where he stood and reappeared on the planet where his family lived. He didn’t just feel a random presence of life, he felt his wife’s aura. That aura was extremely weak, but it was still alive.
When The Strongest finally reached the spot where he felt the aura coming from, he saw his wife lying on the ground. She was as beautiful as ever, but her skin was as pale as a ghost. When The Strongest saw her, bloody tears started flowing out of his eyes as he fell onto the ground and tried to hug his dying wife.
“My love, is it you?” A frail gentle voice resounded in The Strongest’s ears. When he lifted his head up, he saw that his wife didn’t move, nor she opened her eyes. She was using last strands of her consciousness to talk to him.
“Frida, don’t waste your energy on useless speeches.” The Strongest started using all his energy to try to heal Frida’s injuries, but there were no injuries in her body. He understood that her soul was crashed and he had no way of saving her now.
“My love, I have to join our children so I could be reborn close to them. I will head there first and wait for your arrival as long as needed. Please, don’t seek revenge for me or our children. I know that you will become The Strongest someday. I hope you will then find us somehow.” Frida’s voice was becoming weaker with each word she spoke and her aura was gradually vanishing.
“NO! FRIDA, DO NOT REINCARNATE! WAIT FOR ME THERE! I WILL FIND A WAY TO BRING YOU ALL BACK HERE TO ME! YOU HEAR ME? DO NOT REINCARNATE!” The Strongest was yelling as loud as he could. He was grasping Frida’s body in his hands and shaking her as if he could wake her up. He kept screaming these words as if trying to send them into the reincarnation cycle and reach Frida’s ears, but it was all absolutely meaningless…
The Strongest was absorbed in his sorrow and he didn’t notice that the whole month has already gone by. After that month, everything around him has already crumbled and there was nothing around him except for his wife’s corpse. He slowly stood up, took his wife’s body and moved onto the random meteorite flying past him. He waved his hand, and a grave was created in a middle of the meteorite. He gently put his wife’s body into the grave. He was looking at the grave for a few days before he finally waved his hand, and the grave was buried. He used his energy to create a statue that looked exactly like his wife and then statues of twenty young men and women appeared around the woman. The Strongest created a monument to his family from his pure silver energy. He then sat down, took an alcohol from his magic ring and started drinking it. He was flying on the meteorite for more than a year, but he never stood up nor stopped crying.
When The Strongest finally stood up, his face was already filled with wrinkles and he didn’t look as a young man anymore. He was now a middle-aged man in tattered silver-colored clothes and his eyes didn’t have even a drop of his usual excitement and thirst for power. His gaze was now full of killing intent and hatred. He knew who attacked his world and who was responsible for deaths of his family, but he needed time to think over everything that happened.
“Frida asked me not to seek revenge, so I won’t go to take revenge. I will not kill any of them, but i still have to punish that damned snake for her wrongdoings.” The Strongest finally made his decision. He stopped the meteorite from moving and created a silver temple around it. There was now a mysterious and indestructible silver tomb floating in an empty space of the universe.
237846th year of the second era in the highest world, somewhere in a middle of a Forest of the Dead.
“It has been a hundred and sixty-five thousand years, but I finally found a clue I needed.” The Strongest was looking exactly the same as he was when he created the tomb for his family. He was now holding an ancient scroll in his hands.
There was only one line of text in this scroll, but that line changed everything for The Strongest.
“It seems like I need to take in a few disciples and carefully nurture them to achieve my goal.” The Strongest’s eyes sparkled with a mysterious shine as he folded the scroll and put it inside of his magic ring.
