SV was walking through school’s corridors with a very grim expression on her face, Boe was following her not knowing what to say. He knew that he dragged SV into serious problems with the Ligu family after this fight. Even before the fight, when he just decided to cripple Han, he already expected that SV and the director of the school would protect him. On the other hand, SV already expected Boe to win the fight somehow if he decided to go onto the stage, but she would never imagine that Boe would actually be so brutal and cripple Han in one move.

“Wait here until I’ll call you.” When they reached a big black door, SV entered the office, but Boe had to wait outside. SV needed to explain everything to the director and discuss their next move with him.

“Come in,” old, but a very domineering voice sounded from inside of the office. Boe immediately stood up and walked in calmly. A middle-aged man with long black hair, black eyes and dressed in a completely black official suit was sitting in a big chair. Aura of that man was very formidable and intimidating, but Boe didn’t feel much pressure from it. After Boe met The Toxin Queen, the director of the school didn’t really seem so scary to him.

“Boe Nas greets the director of the school.” Boe slightly bowed and looked straight into director’s eyes. Director was shocked when he noticed that Boe wasn’t scared or even surprised after entering the office.

“My name is Dooran Forte, I heard what you did today. Do you have anything to say or should I make a verdict based on Sky Venom’s words?” Dooran was focusing on Boe’s eyes, he wanted to see what kind of person was the genius they found in a middle of the forest. After all, the main reason they took Boe in and protected him was the fact that he had a talent and potential to help them reach their goal. Dooran and SV were both dark wizards after all, so they wouldn’t help anyone out of good will. If Boe couldn’t be of use to them, why would they even bother protecting him from Ligu family?

“I crippled Han on purpose,” Boe noticed Dooran’s evaluating gaze and answered truthfully and calmly.

“Why would you do that?” Dooran was a little shocked with how calm and collected was Boe in this kind of situation.

“Han planned to cripple me in that fight, so I had no choice but to answer him in a same way.”

“How did you know what he planned to do? Even though he used a powerful technique to attack you, it was obviously easy for you to evade it and defeat him without causing injuries.”

“I met him before the fight, and he told me that he was going to cripple me because someone paid him to do it.” A trace of killing intent glowed in Boe’s eyes, and his voice became cold while saying this.

“Ha-ha, as expected of someone whom my daughter chose to nurture! A very decisive and courageous personality with a strong killing intent too! I like you, kid. Alright, I won’t punish you and even will protect you from Ligu bastards as much as I can. Now go, Aira will tell you everything else.” Dooran laughed heartily and patted SV on shoulders a few times.

“Aira?” Boe didn’t understand at first, but then looked at SV and the way she looked at Dooran and figured everything out. Aira Forte was SV’s real name and she was the daughter of the school’s director. He now felt a little uneasy, since SV treated him rather good and he had to kill her father to pass one of his master’s tests.

When SV and Boe left director’s office, she started explaining to him why she chose him as her personal disciple and what she needed from him.

Two hundred years ago, the Forte family was one of the six ancient families of the Kayteese city, but at that time they were called the Metier family. They were the strongest among six families, which led to the envy of all others. People of Metier family all had a high level of a poison attribute affinity, which made them the most dangerous and unpredictable of all families. 

The last patriarch was a very arrogant, cruel and greedy person; this allowed Ligu patriarch to convince all others that Metiers became too dangerous and union of five families needed to eliminate them. In the end, only Carters decided not to get involved in that mess, but the strength of four families combined was more than enough to annihilate Metiers. Only one person managed to escape and survive by taking another name and leaving the Kayteese city. Dooran and Aira were direct descendants of that person, and now they wanted to bring their family back to the city. After two hundred years of preparation and growth, the new Forte family was strong enough to eliminate any of the four traitorous families, but people of Ligu were their first and main target. The plan was to eliminate Ligu and then establish Forte as a new fifth family.

Boe already separated from SV and was walking to his room, deep in thoughts, ‘So they want me to join their family and help them annihilate people of Ligu. That doesn’t seem to be a bad thing for me, they will provide all resources I need, since they appreciate my talent a lot and even protect me from the Ligu family. I guess I will join their faction for now… With this, it’ll be even easier for me to kill Dooran, when I will get him to trust me by destroying the Ligu family…’ Boe’s mouth crooked in a very wicked smile and his eyes gleamed with a killing intent.

While Boe was busy with Airi and Dooran, Kamys was preparing to fight to get a spot in a Dark Elf Kingdom’s competition for himself.

Ella, I will defeat a genius of your family and then win dark elves’ competition to prove to you that I’m the best match for you!” Kamys was passionately screaming and looking at Ella with eyes full of love and desire.

"Charles, don’t go easy on him just because I know him. Crush him and show him the difference between a genius and him.” Ella was absolutely calm, as if all this had nothing to do with her, she didn’t even look at Kamys, ‘To think that he would be sure that he’s stronger than one of The Five just because he defeated Harson... What a fool.’

Charles jumped onto the stage and smiled at Kamys. He knew that Kamys was something important for his big sister since she visited all his fights personally. It was the first time Ella showed up at Charles’ battle, so she was definitely here not for him.

“Charles Kenthy, water attribute wizard, specialize in supporting and healing techniques, so please go easy on me.” Charles brilliantly smiled and winked at Kamys.

“Kamys Tad, fire attribute wizard, specialize in physical strength. Will definitely try to not hurt you, little brother Charles.” Kamys smiled mischievously. He called Charles his little brother as if he was already married with Ella.

"You can start a fight.”

Right after the referee announced the beginning of the fight, Charles jumped back to the corner of the stage. He knew that Kamys was very fast, so he wanted to be as far from his as he could to have a chance to chant his spells.

Kamys didn’t hesitate even for a second, he didn’t want to hurt Charles so he didn’t use his techniques and was going to use only his bare fists.

”Suyuktuk kalkan” Charles first chanted his “Water shield” defensive technique and then was preparing to chant his most powerful attacking technique. But before he had a chance to even finish his defenses, he saw Kamys already in three meters away from him. Charles had no other choice than to focus all his battle aura on a water shield and prepare for an impact.

*PLOP*

A soft sound of a flesh hitting a water resounded throughout an audience and everyone looked at the scene with shocked expressions on their faces. Everyone expected Kamys to hit or kick Charles, but they were actually hugging at the moment.

“Let’s be good brothers from now on, sorry but I have to take your spot in Dark Elf Kingdom’s competition this year.” Kamys moved a bit back, but his hands were still on Charles’ shoulders. He was smiling from ear to ear, but Charles seemed lost at words.

“I forfeit,” Charles said to referee and then turned to Kamys, smiled and patted his shoulder, “It’s my great honor to have a big brother like you, Kamys.” He then turned and took a look at Ella’s confused face.

When Ella heard Charles’ words, she understood that Kamys has actually easily broke through water barrier with his physical strength, but didn’t hurt Charles and instead decided to befriend him to get closer to her. She was stunned by Kamys’ boldness and power, her cheeks reddened a little and she turned around and hastily left the building.

Kamys noticed Ella’s reaction and grinned. His plan worked out perfectly, he impressed Ella with his strength, befriended her little brother and her family would definitely know about him now.

On the next morning, Dooran announced that Boe Nas, Kamys Tad, Shi Ligu, Ivan Popov and Richard Carter were chosen to represent the Black Scorpio school at Dark Elf Kingdom’s talent competition. All five of them would be leaving the school the next day with three teachers as an escort.

Carter, Popov, Ligu and Kenthy families didn’t react in any way, but Vito patriarch was furious that no one of his family was included. He came to the school personally and started a ruckus in a main hall, demanding explanations. Dooran showed up a few minutes later and explained his reasoning politely. Boe has already defeated the best of the Vito family and Kamys defeated the best of the Kenthy family so there was nothing wrong in his decision. Patriarch was enraged when he heard that and demanded rematch for Loseac, but Dooran declined and peacefully told him about the fight between Han and Boe. Patriarch was angry at first, but then he smiled sinisterly and left.

‘Have I just created even more problems for Boe?’ Dooran thought in silence, then turned around and left the main hall hastily.

“Karl Vito, why did you call me here so suddenly?” An old man in an extravagant black clothes with long black hairs, deep black eyes and a lot wrinkles on a face was sitting on one side of the table. It was Rem Ligu, the current patriarch of the Ligu family.

“Old Rem, we haven’t seen each other for more than two years, can’t we just meet up and drink to our heart’s content?” Karl Vito laughed as he raised his cup and toasted. Karl is the current patriarch of the Vito family and Harson’s father. He looked a lot more energetic and stronger than Rem, he was obviously a lot younger. He had a very long blonde hair, his eyes were green and even more sparkling than Harson’s.

“Cut the bullshit,” Rem said angrily while looking at Karl with eyes as cold as ice. Rem obviously didn’t like Karl, he didn’t show any respect to his elders. Even though they both were patriarchs, but in reality Rem was from a generation of Karl’s father and was a lot stronger than him, “What do you want?”

“Haha, as cold as always. I guess there is no reason to beat around the bush,” Karl stood up, closed all doors of VIP room and his eyes became cold as well, “I want to help you to get rid of that new kid from school.”

“Do you really think my family needs any help to eliminate an ant?” Rem coldly laughed and started standing up to leave.

“Old Rem, I know their real route, I also can take three teachers’ attention and separate that kid from everyone else. I also know that there will be four teachers escorting them, not three. The last teacher will always be in shadows and he’ll be your men’s problem.” Karl evidently had a spy in Dooran’s camp and knew all his plans. While Dooran expected that Vito family would definitely dispatch their assassins to kill Boe, he didn’t expect that Vito family would help them and even provide such a crucial information.

“I knew about the fake route, but an additional teacher in shadows… Since when did your family started spying on Dooran Forte?” Although Rem was a little surprised, nothing showed on his old face.

“While we aren’t as good at espionage as you are, we have our own methods,” Karl smiled and added, “All I need from you is a guarantee that kid will vanish from this world and there will be no evidences against me.” Vito family could easily kill Boe themselves, but Karl was worried that there were some kind of power behind Boe’s back. Talents like him didn’t come out of nowhere after all. If there were no one behind him, that would be good. But if there were someone powerful associated with Boe, then it was better to let Ligu family kill him and take all the blame.

“Okay, deal with teachers, separate him from other students and leave the rest to me,” Rem easily agreed. His face was the same as ever, but he was coldly laughing inside. He was thinking the same as Karl, but he was sure in his men’s ability to cover up a murder and he now could even shift all the blame on Vito family. ‘There is definitely someone behind that kid, but now all the consequences will become Vito family’s problems.’
