Ella’s condition scared Kamys out of his mind, but at the same time he was very happy to feel her body in his embrace. Boe came up to him and slapped his back to wake him up from his dreams. Kamys quickly regained his calm and jumped up from the stage with Ella in his hands, he took her straight out of the building and went to the infirmary of the school.
Boe was left alone on the stage, but he was already very used to Kamys’ behavior so he didn’t mind it at all. He slowly came down from the stage and started walking in his room’s direction. While walking, he was thinking about Ella’s unbreakable barrier and Dagu’s terrifying attack technique. Before he saw this fight, he was sure he could contend against rank 2 wizards in his demonification form, but now he knew that he wouldn’t be able to survive even the weakest attack Dagu used against Ella. In addition to that, he was sure he couldn’t break through Ella’s barrier with any of his attacks.
Few minutes later, Boe was already near his room. Boe was still dazed by rank 2 wizards’ power when he opened his room and walked in.
“Hello, little brother.” When Boe heard the voice, a shiver ran down his spine and cold sweat formed all over his body immediately. Before he could even saw the person talking to him, just the voice made his body tremble and his mind shake from fear. It was a pleasant female voice, yet it contained a frightening killing intent and an overwhelmingly domineering aura.
When Boe looked in a direction of the voice, he saw a bizarre figure there. It was two meters tall slender female with a very alluring body, dressed in a very tight bright green dress. Her hairs were green and even her skin seemed to be green-ish in color. But the most distinguishing feature of the visitor was the fact that she had strange green scales all over her body and there were three little horns growing on top of her head.
“Wh-who are you?” Boe tried to sound as calm as he could, but his voice was still trembling from fear.
“In your language my name is Krstvinga “The Toxin Queen” Aanhzbrind, but you can call me “Eldest sister”. I am the third disciple of The Strongest, but the first female one.” Krstvinga smiled and her gaze ran through Boe’s whole body and stopped on his forehead.
“Greetings, eldest sister. My name is Boe Nas, master has just taken me in as disciple so I’m not familiar with my seniors.” Boe slightly bowed, he was still trying to calm himself down. He now knew that his guest wouldn’t kill him, but her aura was too fierce and he couldn’t shake off the feeling that she could see through him.
“Our master received an important invitation yesterday, so he left this tiny world and won’t be coming back here soon. He instructed me to watch over you for the time being, because he was worried about your survival.” Krstvinga chuckled after she said these words. Boe felt this chuckle to be somewhat mocking and sinister for some reason.
“Sorry for disturbing you, eldest sister. I will be in your care from now on then.” Boe bowed once more and noticed that Krstvinga’s gaze hadn’t left his forehead for a long time already.
“What art you are cultivating and why did our master put a powerful soul inside of you?” Krstvinga was still focusing on Boe’s forehead as she asked with a puzzled look on her face.
“Powerful soul inside of me? Wh-what are you taking about, eldest sister?” Boe was shocked when he heard Krstvinga’s words, he never heard of anything like that from his master.
“I guess master didn’t tell you about it and I shouldn’t have told you anything either…” Krstvinga had a guilty expression on her face, but there was a teasing look in her eyes.
Boe gulped down his saliva with a very loud voice, he couldn’t tell if Krstvinga was lying to him or he really had something inside of him. But then he thought of a “demon” inside of him and froze.
“Don’t be scared, it’s definitely safe for you. Master wouldn’t harm you on purpose… At least not until you will become strong enough for him to play with…” When Krstvinga finished speaking, she smiled and seemed to be thinking of something.
Krstvinga was silent for a few minutes, so Boe didn’t know what to say and he was just standing awkwardly, looking at her from time to time.
“Well, don’t mind what I said earlier and just focus on getting stronger. If you’ll have any problems, just call me and I’ll come help you out. By the way, you still didn’t tell me what arts are you cultivating.”
“Master gave me the “The Demon Emperor” battle teaching if that’s what you’re asking about.”
“Oh, you’re actually the future Demon Emperor, it explains the soul inside of you… That’s rather interesting. Your path will definitely be entertaining; I guess I will be watching over you even after master will come back.” Krstvinga laughed and took a glance at Boe’s forehead once again.
“Eldest sister, what kind of person is our master?” Boe didn’t spend much time with his master, so he didn’t really understand his character.
“Hmmm… That’s a very hard question to answer. He destroyed a lot of worlds, killed countless people and even annihilated few races, so some people consider him to be the cruelest devil of all worlds. At the same time, he saved a lot of worlds and people from destruction, created few worlds from nothing by himself and helped abandoned people to populate it, so these people see our master as a most benevolent god.”
“And how did he treat his disciples?” Boe didn’t really care about those worlds, they were too far away from him now. He only wanted to know what to expect from his master.
“This question is even harder to answer. Each disciple of our master gets a unique art to cultivate and different attitude from our master. In my case, master sees me as his personal maid, I’m always by his side and help him with all the little things he doesn’t have time to consider. His favorite and most talented disciple is Xander “The World Devourer” Shintu. Master is treating him as if Xander is his son. The worst relationship master has is with his first disciple, Arlin “The Hero” Geulimja. Even I don’t know what happened between them, but master almost killed him a few thousand years ago. When I just became master’s disciple, Arlin was the most trusted person in master’s eyes and I think he’s even more powerful and talented than Xander. Unfortunately, master punished him and locked him up in one of the lowest and distant worlds of our universe.”

“So as long as I am talented enough and don’t go against his will, master will be good to me?” At the moment, Boe felt that all those elder disciples were something too distant from him, so even though he wanted to know more about Xander and Arlin, he was focused on himself.
“That’s not necessarily so. Second disciple of our master is very talented and they never had any conflicts, but I have never seen him even though I never left our master for almost 7000 years now. And I only once heard our master talking about him, he said that Gron “The Creator” Masdin is the most talented person he ever encountered, but he wastes his talent on useless things. You should really stop thinking about all that, you will definitely never be able to understand The Strongest’s way of thinking. Everything he does have a deep meaning to it, which no one else will be able to comprehend.”
“Alright, sorry for taking so much of your time, eldest sister.” Boe could only give up on this topic and try to get stronger as fast as he could, so his life wouldn’t depend on his master’s mood.
“Good child, now keep training and try not to lose your life in this lowly world.” Krstvinga nodded and disappeared.
After the talk with Krstvinga, Boe couldn’t concentrate on training and spent the whole evening imagining what kind of existences were “The Toxin Queen”, “The World Devourer”, “The Hero” and “The Creator”. In his mind, Krstvinga was a master of poisons, who could destroy the whole army with just a bottle of toxin. Xander was a huge giant, who could literally devour thousands of people to make himself stronger by absorbing their powers. Arlin was the brave and righteous knight, who saved millions of people from evil creatures. Gron was the mystery, which Boe couldn’t even imagine.
He was now thinking what kind of being he will become when he will reach the highest realms of his “The Demon Emperor” battle teaching. Will he really become the emperor of all demons or is it just the name of his future power? Will he be the cruelest being in the world that will scare even the real kings of demons? Or will he use his power to punish the evil and help the weak? He then thought about the sinister and bloodthirsty soul inside of him, he now felt that his demonification form might not be his own power, but the power he was borrowing from that soul. Boe didn’t realize that his personality has already changed since he first awakened the demon inside of him. He was once a cheerful and dreamy kid, whose only wish was to become as strong as his father, but now he became a lot colder and distant from human feelings.
On the next morning, Boe woke up and decided to go to the cafeteria as usual, but he didn’t meet Kamys or Ella on his way for some reason. When he entered the cafeteria, he encountered SV.
“Hello, big sis SV,” Boe politely greeted his teacher and started walking away from her to not disturb her meal.
“Good morning, Boe. Come here for a minute and sit with me, I have something I want to discuss with you.” SV smiled, but her face seemed to be filled with worries.
Boe took what he wanted to eat and then sat down close to SV.
“We received an invitation from the Dark Elf Kingdom to their talent competition. This competition only happens once every three years and only students of the first year are participating. That’s a very great honor for our school, since we’re only rank 3 school. Usually, dark elves would never invite anyone from our school, but this year we have Richard Carter and Ivan Popov from The Five, so we received five invitations. Since you defeated Loseac Vito, you are now eligible to compete for one of the spots.”
“I’m not interested in participating in some kind of competition just to bring glory to our school, I have my own problems to solve right now.” Boe wanted to fight with talents of the world, but he couldn’t leave the school right now because of Vito and Ligu families.
“I understand all that, that’s why I advise you to publicly apologize to Han Ligu and forfeit your match. Rewards for this competition are something that our school won’t be able to provide for you. Elves promised that anyone who will enter top five will each be able to choose any weapon from their weaponry. In addition to that, third place will be rewarded with “Spirit nourishing” pill. Second place will get a rank 3 spirit animal. And the winner of competition will receive the magic essence of their choice.”
Boe was shocked when he heard all the prizes SV listed. Weapon from the Dark Elf Kingdom weaponry will definitely be enough to make even rank 3 wizard choke in their greed, but it was nothing to Boe since he already had “Dark Elf King’s bow” and “Claws of Enthriil”.
“Spirit nourishing” pill is a high ranked pill, that could be made only by at least a rank 3 alchemist, and they’re are very rare. There were actually none of them in the Black Scorpio school, the best alchemist here was someone who barely made it to rank 2. This pill allows a wizard to instantly boost the capability of wizard’s body to store the battle aura. For a regular wizard it means that they’ll be able to breakthrough to the next level faster, but for Boe it wasn't as useful, because he practiced “The Demon Emperor” battle teaching. To make a breakthrough he didn’t need to gather more battle aura into his body, he needed to actually reach certain stages of control over his own power.
Rank 3 spirit animal would be a great power for anyone below rank 4, so this reward is very desired by all young talents for sure. Boe was rather interested in this reward, he wanted to obtain the spirit animal for himself since he first found out about this possibility.
But the most valuable treasure was, without a doubt, the magic essence. In some ways, the magic essence is similar to a magic stone, but of higher level. It is something that is born in areas where battle aura is very abundant, but unlike magic stones, the essence is not born from ordinary stones, but because of some special events. For example, thunder attribute magic essence could be born when the real thunder from heavens hit and killed a living being in an area where thunder attribute aura is very rich, so thunder attribute magic essence is rare and precious. Boe practiced in shadow attribute, so he would naturally choose shadow attribute magic essence. This kind of essence is one of the rarest and most precious of them all, since it is only born when the shadow attribute living being was swallowed by the shadows of their hearts and committed suicide within an area where shadow attribute aura is dense enough. There were a lot of ways to use it, one could swallow it and purify battle aura inside of him to make their power more stable, which would help them in breaking through all further ranks. Another way to use it is to create a puppet and put the essence inside of it to make it alive. One could also use it in forging a weapon of certain attribute. It is also the part of a lot of high-ranked pills. And the most popular way to use it is to let an ordinary person swallow it to transform him into a wizard with a good attribute affinity.
“I’m very sorry for being too arrogant, brother Han. I will forfeit our match and hope we can become friends from now on.” Boe decided to swallow his pride and apologize to Han Ligu this time, but he would surely come back later to settle this debt.
“Hahahaha, I gave you a chance back then, but now the whole school knows that you offended me and my family, so there is no way out for you.” Han Ligu maniacally laughed and all his underlings was laughing from behind as well.
Boe felt like a complete idiot. He regretted his decision to humiliate himself as well as the choice to listen to SV's advise. He could not stand his own cowardice.
“Have you really decided to make me into your enemy?” Boe’s voice was cold and his gaze was full of killing intent.
“You were the one who sealed your own fate, kid.” Han laughed again and walked past Boe.
“You and your family will regret this decision,” Boe whispered this to Han when he was walking past him, but just as he wanted to activate his demonification form to frighten Han, he heard a whisper:
“Young master of Vito family paid me a good price to cripple you in this fight.”
