Cassandra
Year 820 | Month 5 | Day 8
The first thought that crosses my mind after being teleported to the Fallen Plane of Hell that I’m pretty sure was the plane that had already lost its Protector long ago isn’t one of despair. Nor is it anger, despite my namesake.
My first thought is actually a rather simple one.
One that I blurt out loud after turning to look at the angel who was dragged along with me, “Why do you people keep teleporting me to random places?”
The angel in question glares back at me and retorts, “It’s not our fault you keep altering the destinations that we’re trying to teleport you.”
I try to glare at him before remembering that I’m still in my undead demon form. So I just cross my arms and state, “Then you shouldn’t be trying to teleport me in the first place.”
He opens his mouth to retort again, but we both turn our heads when bolts of crimson lightning strike near us. Quite a few bolts in fact. Dozens upon dozens of them.
And what shocks me is that they’re all made out of Wrath energy.
After the bolts strike, they leave some sort of demonic creature in their place. Some of which actually look like me right now, surprising me at the sight.
When I identify the largest one of them though, I feel a chill run down my spine. Part of which is exposed along with my head.
Because of what I see as the result.

Name: Val-kon Relsas
Species: Archdemon
Level: 80

The one I identified is wearing a large crown, and the others that appear around him – the smaller ones – all kneel down around him. And when his gaze turns towards me, he just looks me over to focus on the angel with his eyes narrowing rather dangerously.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
I feel surprised at that, only to realize that my current form may literally just be one of the demons on this plane. One of the archdemons judging by this one and the couple others like him albeit missing crowns amongst the other demons kneeling. Except with the archdemons being the only ones not kneeling.
Very convenient.
The angel looks at me with an expression that’s rather horrified with realization on it as he no doubt understands that very same thing.
“Arch, good work on capturing this creature,” the one with the crown known as Val-kon Relsas states while glancing at me and nodding. So I just automatically nod in return. “As with my laws, you may claim the angel’s wings after the creature has been processed.”
One thing after another registers in my mind.
First, that angels are apparently a thing here already. Since he named it.
Second, that these demons aren’t realizing what I am by my identify result.
Third, they don’t seem to know my name since they just called me Arch. Like they’re calling me by a shortened version of archdemon or something.
Fourth, this archdemon said ‘my laws’ and is wearing a crown. Which means he may be some sort of ruler or a king.
And fifth. The fact that he’s talking about claiming the angel’s wings as if they’re some trophy or something to eat.
Well, doesn’t really matter to me why they want the angel. He’s my enemy anyways.
I glance at the angel, who looks terrified as the demon ruler teleports up to him in a flash of Wrath energy before grabbing the angel by the throat. Then I just give the terrified-looking angel a firm nod of my head and jump out of the encirclement of demons without a hint of hesitation. With all of the demons ignoring me in the process.
Convenient.
Very convenient.
And the terrified and angry look I see on the angel’s face as I fly away using my skeletal wings honestly makes me feel more than a little satisfied. Strictly because of what he did to me. Teleporting me to another plane of which I have no idea how to escape.
On another note, I wonder if my taking of this form this time around had anything to do with the teleportation array? With how it sent us to Hell?
Or was it just because of my Wrath energy in and of itself? Because I remember being told before that the Protector of Hell was the only Protector that used a Sin energy as its power instead of an element.
And the Sin energy that it used?
The Sin of Wrath.
Which would also explain why these demons all seem to be able to use the Sin of Wrath.
I glance back to find the demons all vanishing again within strikes of Wrath lightning. Along with the terrified angel who I can’t even imagine what is going to happen to.
After seeing that, I continue flying far away from where the angel and I arrived. So that I’ll be far enough away that the demons hopefully won’t be able to find me after The Calling of Wrath’s effect fades.
And as I fly, I can’t help but ponder over everything I’ve learned so far.
About the demons. The archdemons. That demon ruler. The plane of Hell.
Everything.
And more importantly, what I haven’t been able to learn yet.
How will the demons react to me if they see me in my normal form? Will they be friendly? Will they be antagonistic?
Am I going to be hunted down across the world or something?
Or maybe seen as some specific type of demon since I have Wrath energy?
Then there’s the question of if humans exist on this plane.
So many questions and so few answers.
I grit my teeth as I fly through the air, just looking at my surroundings as I do so. At the volcanos that I pass by occasionally, and the rocky and ash-covered wasteland everywhere.
In the end it takes me an entire hour to find anything of interest.
With that being some sort of city.
I would narrow my eyes if I had any right now, but I don’t.
So I just focus on my immediate plan.
To take advantage of this archdemon form of mine while I’m still in it.
And gather information.
