The very first thing I do after defeating the Tier 4 monster is open my Tier Breach Mission and grin at what I find.

I raise a brow as the others begin to fish my limp body out of the water and back onto the ship.
It lets me claim the optional objective reward now? Didn’t know that.
Then again, every optional objective I’ve completed before now was the last objective I completed in the Tier Breach Mission in question, so I simply completed the mission and got the reward instead of claiming it separately.
I stare at it for several seconds until I decide to put off claiming it until I’ve had a breather on the ship. Because it isn’t exactly comfortable to be floating on the water while covered in wounds.
Or after a nap sounds good too.
So I let the others fish me out of the water where I soon find my family sending me worried looks. But I just give them a brief nod and close my eyes.
Time for a nap.

Year 820 | Month 5 | Day 2
My eyes open rather slowly before I quickly sit up and look around, only to find myself in my personal quarters within the ship.
I look down at myself for a second, finding my armor to have fully repaired itself by now. A very nice plus to higher Tier armor.
And with that out of the way, I open my Tier Breach Mission menu again, feeling more than a little excited at the prospect of another Tier 4 item. Because all of the Tier 4 items I got from my last mission ended up not really being all that useful to me. In fact, some of them, magic focused items, were useless. Items that required MP and the ability to control MP along with it such as elemental weapons.
Something that I apparently don’t have. The ability to control MP beyond merely putting it into something.
Not to mention that I don’t have elemental MP in the first place. Mine seems to be elementless, unless you count my Wrath energy.
I quickly select the claim option on the Tier Breach Mission, following which I get the notice for the random skill level-up card.

Congratulations! You have obtained a Random Skill Level-Up Card!

And right after that I get the notice for the Tier 4 item.

[Random Item Draw]
Now selecting a random Tier 4 item. Please wait.
o o O
Congratulations! You have obtained the item ‘Wrath of the Abyss’
This armor will grant the wearer a 5% boost in STR and RES when worn and will self-repair itself whenever MP is inserted into it and it will be temporarily stored in your System Item Storage for a period of 72 hours!

I blink at that before tilting my head slightly.
New armor?
Come to think of it, the armor I’m wearing is still the under armor that I got from the invader guy from before, just with some regular non-System armor thrown on over it. So this will be my first set of actual System armor, considering how the under armor doesn’t give me any stat boosts. Just a simple self-repair function.
Well, with the exception of my cloak. That thing does have stat boosts on it.
Which is kind of odd that my cloak gives more resistance than my armor did, but whatever.
I look at the door to the room for a second before getting up from the bed and grabbing the armor set from the System Item Storage. Then I lay it down on the bed and look it over.
The armor is a mixture of black, red, and some small bits of blue. Blue that I swear looks just like the scales on that giant shark I just killed.
Guess the armor is based partially on myself and partially on the monster I killed to complete the optional objective?
Well, it certainly looks cool.
I frown for a second as I wonder if I’ll have to take off my under armor for this. Then I just shrug, quickly glance at the hallway with my aura through the closed door, and take off the non-System armor I have on over it before replacing that with the new armor.
Looks like it works.
Which makes sense considering that it’s called under armor and is supposed to go underneath a different set of outer armor in the first place.
From what I’ve learned about the System Items so far, it doesn’t allow a user to wear and use two of the exact same type item at once. So I wouldn’t be able to wear two sets of armor at once.
Probably is allowed for this because it’s under armor and doesn’t give any stats.
The armor feels more comfortable than the non-System armor too. A very nice benefit.
I smile at that before stretching a little and looking over at the window, where I find light entering the room.
Light? How long have I been asleep?
We should’ve been about a day or so out from the outer ocean where there aren’t any clouds, letting the sun be out this much.
Was I unconscious for an entire day?
I frown at that before eventually just shrugging.
Guess it doesn’t really matter. We’re obviously still on the water, and considering how far we are, we’re most likely out of the dangerous waters. Not to mention how the Tier 4 monster scared off all of the monsters for quite a ways.
So being unconscious just means less boredom for the time I was out.
I turn around and begin walking towards the door.
Time to see what’s going on above deck. If anything’s going on.
