It was a cloudy day, and because of that Justitia heard the museum before she saw it, more importantly, the museum knows she's approaching without seeing her. She didn't know museums were this well armed, and a loud siren fills the skies as flak detonates around her. The air siren is accompanied by various alerts being sent out, and the AA batteries are firing everything they have to keep the mutant away from the primary objective of The Lost. Justitia breaks through the clouds, and sees the seemingly panicked movements of the defenders below. Only now that the flak shoots more accurate than ever does she notice that the shots have a higher magical payload than she remembers The Lost having, did they adapt?
As she gets a better look, she sees why this area is on such high alert already, to the east are long trench lines, with flashes happening in that area. That's odd, BARZA told her that the frontline was further east from here when she left. How much happened in such a short time? Why now, and not at the beginning? Justitia is pulled out of her thoughts as one of the flak shots lands a bit too close for comfort to her, and she nosedives directly into the museum.
She crashes through the roof of the building, and is immediately surrounded by paintings. In front of her is a massive skeleton of... some kind of large lizard. The sound of artillery outside never interrupts, as The Lost desperately attempt to hold on to this position. They were probably caught off guard and unable to evacuate this museum away from the invading worlds. Justitia takes a quick moment to quickly think as to what happened recently to cause a larger invader presence, now that flak is no longer interrupting her.
The only thing that happened recently... is her... she must be the reason why there is a larger presence now. She looks to the west, and sees... greed... greed coming from the entire army itself, as it carves through hell to acquire... everything. It isn't just her that they are here for, but her sheer existence here indicates great loot to be found for the adventurers, and glory for the soldiers. A world with a [Mythic] being has to hide great treasures, after all. Justitia follows the signs that lead to the administration office, but is suddenly under fire from a barrage of magic payload heavy bullets. The shots pound her shielding, which she quickly reinforces while moving to cover.
There in the hallway is a dozen heavily armed Lost, and a man in a plague doctor outfit. The group quickly scatters, while Justitia retreats toward the administration office. She quickly breaks in, and rummages through all the documents. Funding, requisitions forms, taxes, summary of contents... aha! Summary of contents should be good enough for BARZA! Justitia takes the documents, and as she makes it to the door, the large skeletal lizard from before breaks the entire wall. The now undead lizard attempts to trample Justitia, but she dodges out of its path just in time. From the hole the lizard caused, the strike teams quickly lay into her with rune crafted machine guns. The runes slowly drain magic out of the air, and uses as a battery, unlike enchantments which work on a much faster basis, the runes are much more stable. Runes are also more meant for societies with a more industrial focus on things, while enchanting is more often used by more magically intensive societies.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Justitia quickly melts through a wall, and points her scales at the strike team.
[You judge [The Lost Strike Team] using the scales! They are found guilty of 1 count of obstructing a military operation!]
Justitia didn't know the scales could target a collective, since when she pointed it at an army it insisted on handling them individually, moreover, she has never successfully judged someone with such little results. She is only mildly annoyed by their presence, and to right the wrong that is their obstructions, all she has to do is hamper their efforts.
The scales, a [Mythic] item in their own right, still had an effect on the strike team. When Justitia blasts the group with light, it blinds them even when they have eye protection. The skeletal lizard is too clumsy to be able to catch Justitia on its own without backup, and Justitia flies through the roof of the museum documents in hand, when she leaves it she sees that the situation in the west has somehow deteriorated for the worse in the short time she was in the museum, and now she can get a better look while fulfilling her own objective of simply pointing the documents at the ship in the sky as if showing her father a terrible drawing she made.
Knights... lots and lots of knights. Their armor making them tougher than the tanks rolling around, and their sword slashes going through armor like it isn't there. The banners of the knights depicts a shield with a sword crossing behind it, and even for Justitia the sight of so many powerful entities is downright terrifying. The Lost are giving as much as they receive, their standard infantry fighting with suicidal vigor, while tanks sometimes manage to break through the seemingly impenetrable armor.
Justitia gets an idea as she sees the armies fight, and lets the documents fall to the ground below as she's done showing them to the caretaker. He will handle that matter just fine.
Justitia raises her scales at the armies engaged in combat, confident that whatever choice she makes could clearly save a lot of lives for once.
[You judge [The Lost 7th Army] using the scales! They are innocent!]
[You judge [Order of Melthazar 5th Vanguard] using the scales! They are found guilty of 1 count of unauthorized planetary invasion!]
That is all Justitia needs to hear, and as the scales do their duty, she also notices that the shots fire by The Lost now penetrate through armor slightly more often.
