When I woke up I noticed that the original skeleton and the mage skeleton were resting next to each other, while the flexile skeleton was lying on the floor. When I observed them the flexile skeleton still had the same description, the original and the mage on the other hand had new information added.
Rune(Skeleton) level 3This skeleton was created by a wisp. This skeletons is more intelligent than a normal skeleton and can obey complex commands. This skeleton has developed a protective personality from its interactions with a skeleton mage. The identity is in the early stages and will develop over time.
Falz(Skeleton Mage) level 3This skeleton was created by a wisp. This skeletons is more intelligent than a normal skeleton and can obey complex commands. This skeleton has developed a cautious personality from its interactions with a skeleton. The identity is in the early stages and will develop over time.
I was a little surprised they developed a personality that fast, I'm more concerned why the flexile skeleton didn’t though. Once I floated down I got a pleasant surprise, Falz noticed me and approached with Rune following closely behind.
(Falz): “Good morning master”
(Rune): “Mornin’ mother.”
I was taken aback as soon as they spoke, I simply didn’t expect them to be able to speak this fast if at all.
(Dark): “Morning. How did you learn to speak?”
(Falz): “We have innate understanding when we are created so that we can follow commands. We can only speak because we taught ourselves during the night by talking to each other.”
(Dark): “Ah..good...hmmm.”
(Rune): “Is something wrong mother?”
(Dark): “Oh, no I was just thinking to myself. How come the flexile skeleton doesn’t talk?”
As I say that the flexi sits up and stares at us. It's a little disheartening the way it just looks at us, barely moving if at all.
(Rune): “She refused to talk to us and sat on guard the whole night.”
(Falz): “It was a little weird, cause she stared at the entrance and us at the same time.”
(Dark): “Falz, how did you get your name?”
(Falz): “Both me and Rune named each other during the night.”
(Shade): “Well this is certainly interesting. How did you get them to have personalities? Actually don’t tell me. By the way you should prepare the adventurers will start delving in about an hour.”
(Dark): “Ok. Rune, Falz I'm going to have to have you two stay at the back of the room or further in the dungeon most of the day. Don’t jump out to help me if I look in danger. Trust me when I say I'm not.”
(Rune & Falz): “Ok.”
Immediately they went to the back of the room and stayed there, both of them started to talk among themselves. I noticed that the skeletons that Shade normally summonses for me are no longer on the walls, not saying a thing I summon 10 basic skeletons and place them along the walls. I also summon 3 more flexile skeletons and have them stand in the middle of the room. The flexile skeleton I had summoned during the night was sitting against the left wall so I beckoned her over for a little test I thought of.
Once the flexile skeleton was next to me I told the skeleton to endure as long as possible and immediately started to infuse raw mana into the skeleton. It coiled in on itself after a few seconds of infusing mana, while letting out a small sobbing. A few more seconds have passed and I had already infused 500 mana, closing in on 1000. She stood up after about 700 mana was infused, as if the worst has passed. I soon reached my goal and as soon as I hit 1000 mana I stopped. Observing her I was a little impressed with the description.
(Variant)Flexile Skeleton level 3This skeleton was created by a wisp and subject to the same wisps experiment. Due to this experiment it has became a variant with mana strengthened bones and a small regeneration ability. This skeletons is more intelligent than a normal skeleton and can obey complex commands.
(Shade): “Would I have permission to have that skeleton as a mini-boss?”
(Dark): “Only after she gains a personality and you’d have to ask her.”
(Shade): “Fair enough, little Darkness.”
I’ll have to train her, it would be nice to get away from being a mini-boss for a while. Putting that thought to the back of my mind I continue preparing for the day. I've decided to set up 3 waves of skeletons before I reveal myself. First is going to be 10 basic skeletons with 3 flexile skeletons, second will be 6 flexile and 3 skeleton mages, and the last will be 10 skeletons, 5 flexile skeletons and 3 skeleton mages. I'm going to keep Rune,Falz and the variant hidden until each of them are at least level 10.
Once I finished preparing I turned towards Rune and Falz and noticed that they seem to be playing with magic. At least that what Falz is doing, Rune is trying to copy but can only be amazed at what Falz is doing. I ushered them out of the room down further into the dungeon with the variant for safety. Rune tried to protest a bit but it was like a child having a temper tantrum, it was kind of laughably honestly.
Smiling to myself I turn around just in time to see the first group of the day coming in, it just happened to be Kelas. It looks like Kelas group has improved a lot since I last saw them. Kela has gone up a level while Alex and Claire have risen a few.
Once they stepped into the room the doors closed and my skeletons started to attack. Like every time they've been here before the started to make short work of the skeletons. That was until Alex got crushed by a flexile skeleton.
(Claire): “New enemy, be cautious.”
With almost synchronized agreement Alex and Kela both nodded before they continued to destroy my minions. I noticed they were having trouble with the flexile skeletons since they couldn’t attack from the back. However aside from a few lucky hits they were almost as good as the 10 skeletons.
When the second wave started 6 flexile skeletons fell from the roof and I summoned the 3 skeleton mages. Kela noticed immediately and started barking orders like a dog in guarding its home.
(Kela): “There’s more waves now! Quickly destroy the 3 at the back they’re mages! Claire you get the mages we’ve got the big guys.”
Charging forward Claire managed to take out one of the mages before the other two could react. As she was about to move, her back was decimated by two mana bolts from each mage. Her back was ripped open, viscera clumps were all that was left inside her shredded rib cage. Before The others even saw her body burst into light, both mages leveled up.
Alex noticed as the light was vanishing, and once it was gone a red mist started to shimmer into existence around him. He ran through the flexile skeletons almost literally as he smashed 3 before slicing the mages in half and collapsing. Kela was finishing off the last of the flexile skeletons when she ran over to him and was relieved that he was only exhausted. I’m a little upset that I didn’t get the skill Alex used, must not have been a magic skill then.

As she was picking him up the 3rd wave started and I immediately summoned 10 skeletons, 5 flexile skeletons and 3 skeleton mages. Kela and Alex looked around and before they were crushed I heard them say ‘we have to tell the guild’. As they vanished I ordered the flexile skeletons to fight and lose to the variant and I ordered the same from the skeletons for Rune and Falz. I watched the skeletons run of towards them and turned back to set up the room again.
3 hours and 2 fights later Shade told me that no more adventurers are going to come in since the mini-boss room changed. I wasn’t too bothered so I sent a skeleton to get Rune, Falz and the Variant. When they arrived I noticed that each of them were now level 5, must have been from the skeletons I sent to fight them.
(Dark): “Sorry about sending the skeletons to fight you guys.”
(Rune): “Please don’t do that again it was hard.”
(Falz): “He’s overreacting, he was the one that pointed out they were losing on purpose.”
The variant nodded and Rune was complaining that they had a deal not to tell me. The variant still didn’t have a name but the description changed too saying she has a stoic personality. Until she speaks I won’t give her a name.
Anyway since I have the rest of the day free I decided to try a few experiments. The first thing I did was summon 8 skeletons for a test.
I had made up my mind to infuse skeletons with some elements and try change Create Undead into something greater. I spent about an hour infusing individual elements into the skeletons and when I was done I gained a new addition to Create Undead that allows me to create any elemental skeleton as long as I have an affinity. I was a little surprised that it costs 1000 to create one but it did take a lot to infuse the elements into them.
I spent a few minutes watching the variant play with Rune while Falz meditated, then I started to think. When I thought about my skill Create Undead it dawned on me that I might be able to create other types of monsters if the skill changes. Feeling a bit excited I summoned a skeleton and looked at my skills, I was feeling like I was on the right track and decided to try and use my Eidolons Craft and started to imbue the skeleton with a mana bolt.
It was taking a lot longer than I thought it would but then again I am infusing 5000 mana in a specific way into a skeleton. I had only got to 2000 when the skeleton collapsed on the floor, it looked like the skeleton was struggling to understand what was going on. At 4000 The skeleton started to collapse in on itself. At 5000 the skeleton started to implode and fully collapsed in on itself falling to the floor. Suddenly the remainder of the skeleton burst into a small blue flame, the remains condensed and became a small bead as the flames enveloped it. As it floated up I was ecstatic that it worked but I didn’t expect it to be like this. I observed the new creature just to confirm my suspicions and was surprised, not for what it was but for the description.
Wisp level 3This wisp was created through unconventional means by a fellow wisp. Due to these unconventional means this wisp has a strong affinity for raw mana and can use mana bolt from birth. This wisp is more intelligent than a normal wisp and can obey complex commands. This wisp can develop it own personality over time.
I knew right away that it was a wisp but I didn’t expect it to be able to use mana bolt right away if at all. I wanted to continue right away but Falz was watching me for the last couple of minutes and walked up to me.
(Falz): “Can I ask what you are doing master?”
(Dark): “Sure, I'm trying to create something other than undead creatures by manipulating my Create Undead skill.”
(Falz): “Interesting. I hope for good results.”
Walking away Falz seemed to start thinking about something, no doubt that he’s trying to think of a solution for me. How cute. I looked around the room and noticed that the variant was sitting next to Rune who was trying to use magic.
I turned back to my work and decided I should try with other spells as well, see if anything interesting happens. I summoned another skeleton and decided to try and make a wind elemental from him. If my idea works I'll be able to get other types of monster as well from this.
Once I decided to try with wind bolt I started to use Eidolons Craft to imbue the skeleton with the spell. As soon as I started I noticed that the spell was being forced into the skeleton a lot faster than what the mana bolt did, it caught me by surprise. When it got to 5000 mana the skeleton fell apart and the bones started to swirl around in a circle. The bones started to go bright yellow and green as the started to fall apart into dust once the mana got to 8000. The dust storm that the skeleton was now split into six mini tornados around 9000. Almost at 10,000 the tornados settled down and all of the dust started to condense into 6 small objects. There was 4 small yellow crescents with green pouring down on of the points about a third of the way. There was a solid green ball about the size of a fist and a crown like circle with small ridges, solid yellow in color. As soon as I finished with the imbuement I got a notification saying Eidolons Craft leveled up. Once I closed the window the small objects started to float up and started to spin and turn rhythmically. Only the crescents constantly moved, with 2 floating above and 2 floating bellow of the sphere and crown. All 4 crescents are slightly to the side of the sphere and crown while opposite of each other. The crown is in the center almost perfectly with the sphere sitting in the middle of it. I observed it and got a notification at the same time.
Wind Elemental level 3 This elemental was created through unconventional means by a wisp. Due to these unconventional means this element has a strong affinity for raw mana and can learn wind magic faster than normal. This elemental is more intelligent than a normal elemental and can obey complex commands. This elemental can develop it own personality over time.
Due to your actions a skill was changed Create Undead was changed to Create Entity. Due to this change, it is now possible to create new entities. Can only create new entities from a base entity.
I opened my skill as soon as I had closed these windows.

Summon list:
Skeleton: 50 Mana
Skeleton Mage: 200 Mana
Flexile Skeleton: 100 Mana
Elemental Skeleton 1000 Mana
Wisp: 20 Mana
Elemental: 500 Mana
At least I know I'm on the right track with this. I might be able to create plant monsters if I get a nature based skill.
I ended up spending the next couple hours talking with Rune, Falz and the variant. It was pleasant and I found out that Rune learned how to use mana to increase his defence and attack by trying to learn what Falz could do. Falz on the other hand gave him the idea to try and use his mana to improve himself instead of copy him. He’s also been trying to create new spells to no luck so far, other than teaching himself lesser light heal. The Variant on the other hand said nothing this whole time only nodding or shaking her head sometimes. Rune annoyed her a couple times only to get flung across the room, Falz would rush over to heal him.
I told them to do their own thing cause I decided to get an early night. As I was settling into the shade torch, Rune flew past me and skidded across the floor losing an arm. I watched him ‘fight’ the variant after putting his arm back and getting healed again. Rune was only able to watch himself get disarm literally before Falz made him apologize. I must have fell asleep cause I didn’t see whether he did or didn’t after Falz stepped in.
