Dave and Rou both had shocked expressions, making them look like a kid told santa wasn’t real. Dave collected himself just before I was going to try waking them from their minds.
(Dave): “How do you know about the reincarnation games?”
(Rou): “I’m going to guess you have something like observe them.”
(Dark): “I’ll give you a clue. All 3 of us are included.”
It didn’t take but a moment for Rou to get what I meant but Dave took a few seconds to realise what I meant.
(Rou): “You mean you're also reincarnated? And so is he?”
(Dave): “So we all died and got reincarnated to these games but do either of you know what they are?”
(Dark): “Sadly no, I was hoping you guys new something I couldn’t get with my observe skill. I get a lot from using it on you too but I noticed a lot of information seems to be blocked. I'd guess that's cause either my skill isn’t high enough level or its being purposely blocked.”
(Rou): “I tried to use observe on you and all I got was information that you were a wisp evolved into an eidolon. I should have got more since it's a max level skill, so explain how you got more info than me.”
(Dark): “Simple, my obsere is an evolved version I suffered to get and I won’ tell either of you how to get it since neither of you would survive.”
Dave was sitting quietly thinking over what was said, Rou fell into a stupor thinking over the little we know about each other and what was talked about. I on the other hand realised that almost all info on them is blocked.
(Dave): “I don’t have the observe skill but from what I know each of us should have gained a power when we reincarnated. So what did you guys get?”
(Rou): “I didn’t get anything when I was reincarnated I only got to keep my power. Did you guys not have powers back on earth?”
(Dark): “Our worlds didn’t have powers where as yours did? Interesting. That would explain the world codes in the observes I got of you two.”
(Dave): “What do you mean?”
(Dark): “Each of us comes from a different version of earth. Me and you Dave come from separate earths called earth series Earth-Delta followed by a large series of numbers and letters. Rou he on the other hand comes from a Earth-Theta world. It seems that each series would have different mechanics in them or something that greatly differentiates the series, Theta seems to have powers whereas Delta seems to have none.”
It took a surprisingly little amount of time for them to let that sink in, cause not a minute later Rou was back to talking on important matters.
(Rou): “So what about this world?”
(Dark): “No idea, I only got the info of the other worlds because I read them when I observed you two.”
(Dave): “Can we talk about the powers we got then? I'm really curious.”
(Dark): “Fine, Rou has consumptive absorption but hasn’t used it properly, Dave has infinite stamina, I on the other hand have EXP conversion.”
(Dave): “You’re no fun, I'm just going to chalk that up to your observe.”
Nodding to Dave I moved on to something more important.
(Rou): “Out of curiousity how long has it been since you guys reincarnated? 3 years for me.”
(Dave): “15 years for me.”
(Dark): “ You look older Dave, anyway it’s been just under 4 months for me.”
Both Rou and Dave were stunned at that which isn’t surprising considering I'm the strongest and youngest in the room. Again Rou came to his senses fast. It seems like I'm repeating myself with these two around.
(Rou): “Darkness, how in the hell did you get that strong in such little time? Heck you’re still technically a baby.”
(Dark): “My ability I got when reincarnated is more useful than it might seem even of I'm still low level.”
(Dave): “I’m curious actually what's your average stats? Mine is roughly 100 over all with LUC nearing 200.”
Smiling Dave prompts Rou thinking that he’ll be weaker than himself. Poor man.
(Rou): “My average is is just about 80 overall with VIT and WIS just over 250.”
Dave looks a bit devastated and prompts me to go, oh how much fun this is.
(Dark): “Just under 680 overall with WIS over 850, a stats are the preeminent version of them.”
(Dave): “Beat down before I could even stand. At least I have infinitely more stamina than you.”
(Dark): “My race has no need of stamina and effectively has infinite all the same. I feel real good about my life right now.”
(Rou): “You’re being kind of a dick Darkness.”
(Dark): “So, who said I wasn’t.”
We continued talking for the rest of the afternoon about various things. The main topic we talked about after coming to the conclusion we have nothing to talk about in relation to the games was each other and how we died. Dave use to be an archery instructor in New Hampshire which actually lead to his death when an arrow ricocheted of the side of a target and went through his skull killing him almost instantly. Rou on the other hand was a police officer of a kind that became famous for stopping almost all crime in his home town, which in turn earned him a stalker. This stalker was kind of like a little sister to him and she cornered him and repeatedly stabbed him in the chest with a taser like knife for refusing her advances. I told them I was killed by a giant sign saying fuck you and they lost it. Although when I told them I was a man on earth both where a little stunned and started to ask what the differences are like, what sex as a woman is like and other perverse things. I torn Dave’s arm off and beat Rou with it when it got to disturbing for me, don’t worry I reattached daves arm and healed them both only for the idiots to start again.
I asked Dave why he wasn’t cautious around us and was in turn fully cooperative from the start. I was surprised that he simple said he followed his guts since they've never been wrong before about a person. Both me and Rou gave Dave a place to call his own and told him if he hurts any of the residents without reason and a darn good one, worse pain that lost limbs would be his only fate. I left them to talk to each other as I went to talk to Rune, Falz and Vari who were sitting around the 3 books on energies I gave them.
(Dark): “So what do you think of the books and the energies?”
(Rune): “Well Chakra is really usefull and I even unlocked it alongside Falz but none of us have unlocked QI and KI since they seem to be exactly the same.”

(Vari): “They are almost identical in every way and can’t see anything substantial to differentiate them.”
(Falz): “Would you care to explain the difference to us?”
Silently I held my palms up and held a white ball of QI in one hand and a yellow ball of KI in the other.
(Dark): “Of these to balls which do you think will be more destructive to the ground?”
(Rune): “I’d say the white one it’s giving off a more dangerous feeling.”
Vari and Falz nodded in agreement as I started to explain properly to them.
(Dark): “The White one is QI and the yellow one is Ki, both of them are a form of life essence and have similar capabilities. Watch as I launch these to the tree over there.”
Both balls of energie flew out of my hands and crashed at each side of the tree, QI on the left and KI on the right. The left side has a small crater only slightly bigger than my hand while the right side has destroyed roughly twice as much ground.
(Dark): “Both energies have destructive properties but this is because each have different energie compositions even though both are physical energies. QI is a life energie which is comprised of physical, soul and world energies in order to create a QI core which is where most of the energy is stored. QI can be gathered to increase your capacity as well as have other effects. If you gather enough QI a mortal could become nigh-immortal and possibly reverse their age. Although the energie is less destructive than Ki, it is however more versatile and can do things similar to mana based spells which tend to have higher quality effects than mana bases spells.”
I noticed that they were hanging on my every word and seems to be enjoying listening to me, a few goblins even started to crowd around me. Falz is even taking notes for later, neat.
(Dark): “Ki on the other hand is purely physical and soul based as well as combined in a different way. Although both energies have similar capabilities, KI is much harder to control and a fair bit more powerful. Another difference is that KI is mainly connected to your physical strength but can be improved with similar cultivation abilities to QI. KI can be used to improve your physical strength, speed and reflexes and makes it easier to gain raw strength with higher KI since it forces that level of power when used to increase speed strength and reflexes. KI is much more chaotic and harder to control that other energies like chakra and mana and can work similarly to QI for most things but tends to be a crude imitation even if it's a more powerful version of QI skills. Because of the hard to control nature of KI different ways to control it are used which makes imitation of other energies effects even harder. KI also doesn’t prolong life like QI does when you have a sizable amount of it but it does naturally strengthen the body unlike QI.”
Everyone that was listening started to ask questions on what the energies where and how I found books about them. Nobody even noticed when I switched places with a clone that was listening and answering to their pleas for knowledge. As soon as I left I was about to go to the complex to set up a few extra precautions when I decided to send a clone to tell Ander to change the new floor into living quarters for up to 300 people as well as to as an air cleansing system since other people still need to have breathable air. Ander was also introduced to a message that if somebody said they are to be led to the living quarters. I told Rou and Dave with a clone and found out their where having a drinking contest with the barrels of beer I left with them my clone join and drank a barrel for every pint of beer they had. The real me on the other hand decided to stay near the village and out of sight while playing with my energies.
It reached about 10 o'clock at night when all my clones dispelled and I practically fell on my face since one of them drank enough to drown the village quite literally. It faded in seconds though cause I didn’t have the stiff in my system.
I left to go back to my bed when I heard dave calling me over. As I looked at him he was clearly uncomfortable and started to speak in a rather concerned tone.
(Dave): “Is it true you killed Theris Delrok?”
(Dark): “Yes, I liked the prick. Why?”
(Dave): “Well I'm familiar with his guild and I'm sure they will send an army just to get revenge for killing that prick. He may not have been much but he’s only the 7th son of the current mage guild leader. That man will do everything short of destroy Ohmaze to get revenge.”
(Dark): “I don’t really care about what they would do but I'm going to destroy anything they send as revenge.”
(Dave): “I hope you can defeat a people that are level 100 and up then cause that's going to be what their armies consist of.”
(Dark): “I can create my own army if I have too. Heck I can even create an army that can create an army.”
Dave didn’t say anything after that but he beamed me a sad smile as he sauntered to his new hut. I sincerely hope that I won’t have brought more problems that can fix. At least I'm made some preparations. Thanks to the clone I sen’t o follow the group from earlier I now know that it will take at least 7 hours to get the this village. Lying down on my pillow I fall asleep and wait for the morning.
I wake up to hear people shouting and step out of the hut to see the goblins setting up a line to defend their home from invaders. I look into the distance and notice that their is quite literally an army of level 100 people coming towards us, their is even a level 400 mage leading the army of 1000 men. I stop the goblins from preparing and get Rou, Dave and Graff to lead them to the complex. Rune Falz and Vari refuse to leave and stay by my side.
I create a shadow clone and have them disguised as everyone from the village.
I stand at the ready with Falz and Rune to my right and Vari to my left. 10 minutes pass and all the goblins have completely left the area as the army stops. The Mage that's leading the group takes a step forward and looks at me before laughing.
(Mage): “Dwark said a powerful monster was defending the Murlaaks not a fucking level 28 Eidolon! Hahaha!”
(Dark): “Why are you here with and army.”
(Mage): “Why, little eidolon were here to wipe your filthy Murkaal friends from the face of this world and get revenge for my younger brother.”
(Dark): “Leave them alone. I'm the one that killed Theris Delrok.”
As soon as the name left my lips the mage stopped smiling and ordered my death without any hesitation. As I started to get ready for the attack the mage fired a spell to the left of me tearing one of Vari’s ribcages apart while severely damaging the other. My mind blanked at that moment I moved as fast as I could and caught her still falling body. The skull turned to me as I watched the light in her eyes die. Anger started to build, the army slowly matched towards me.
(Mage): “Did I kill your little toy Eidolon? When it deserved it. Haha.”
(Dark): “Falz, Rune talke Vari’s body out of here.”
Feeling my cold tone they didn’t hesitate and left as fast as they could. The mage let them and watched as all the goblins started to pop into clouds. The mage didn’t say anything but noticed that before they popped they all turned into me. Along and in a furious state, I used a skill I haven’t even touched without knowing. I noticed that lots of energies started to swirl around me getting thicker and more chaotic. The army stops, the mage fires magic at me to watch it swallowed without touching me. My body broke down in my rage as Dark Id grasped hold without me even noticing. I screamed, oh how I screamed in rage at these people. My mind started twisting as I was fading in and out of conscious only to notice that the army was running… or trying to run. A maelstrom of energies was stopping them.
I blanked out only to wake up in the middle of the village which has now become the epicenter of a chaotic and twisted landscape with nothing left in sight for just over a mile. The ground is purple and looks like a flowing river of muddy water but feels like smooth glass. The trees that were around the village now seem to pop in and out of existence and look like wisps of a dark purple silhouette. I walk to where the army was and find nothing other than what can only be described as a lake of blood. I collapse and notice that I leveled up again. Without thinking I upgraded G.LUC to P.LUC and slowly made my way towards the complex not noticing the window that popped up say in Dark Id form is now intermediate.
