“He’s been lethargic for weeks now,” said Aria.
“He’s lost not one, but two girlfriends!” said his father.
“Too much for a sixteen-year-old,” said Aria.

“I understand him. It’s how I felt as a teen,” said Aria.
“How so?” Miles’ eyebrows lifted.
“I reached the pinnacle of success and wealth at his age. After that, there was no more hope, nothing to look forward to. I went into this grey area,” she said, observing her scotch on the rocks. “But after Machia Veil, I can see colour. So much more colour than I ever saw before.”
Miles hugged her.
“My love,” said Aria. “We’re going to get Nutty a life coach.”
“That’s a great idea,” said Miles.
Alberta Moon walked in. “I found one!”
“Here you go,” said Aria, pointing at the pamphlet Alberta left on her dresser.
Miles drew closer to read it.
“Here is the colour,” she said.
It was a 12-step AA pamphlet.
