Machia Veil Timeline
Trade Lane, Limecut, Londoom
Archs like Ellis Warnock had a protocol with RayCrests. They were to observe and gain information. Never intervene. That’s how the Archs became so powerful. This was Ellis’ third encounter with a RayCrest interference. Darcy took out a couple of goggles from his car compartment and gave Ellis a pair. They put them on and hid behind a pillar. The RayCrest landed as a luminous ball of light that formed into an earthly figure. It was a flowing orchestra of light that uplifted anyone near it except for the Archaemenes. They handled it as an anomaly in their timeline. Ellis viewed RayCrests as dangerous aliens and did not allow the feel-good harmonics to have an effect. They believed it was the only way to unlock new RayCrest codes.
“Time of descent, thirteen hours, twenty-four minutes, fifty-one seconds,” whispered Darcy as he closed his eyes, fighting the harmonics.
“Please, not another catalyst code,” said Ellis.
The RayCrest whipped light up with her forefinger, then opened both arms and light flowed where the suicidal woman was. Her arms and body directed further light around the woman. It was fast and difficult to follow for the Archs.
“She’s a senior RayCrest,” said Darcy.
“Her coding is cryptic,” said Ellis.
“Record.”
“It’s on.”
The RayCrest coding was reprogramming the woman. Ellis and Darcy monitored Margaret Simpson. She had asked for help given RayCrests never visited unless they were called. Through inspiration or desperation, RayCrests were called to Machia Veil. The woman’s face brightened. She took a breath in and her eyes widened. She got up and walked. Ellis and Darcy followed the RayCrest as she followed Margaret. After a long walk, they arrived at a modern brick home. Margaret hesitated before knocking. Moments later, a woman opened the door. Margaret fell to her knees and asked for forgiveness. The RayCrest began her commanding dance again. This time, raising both arms above her head, sweeping them down as a flood of light engulfed both women. She swirled as the light continued to dance amid the phenomenal event. The woman hugged Margaret and took her into her home. Then, the light and the RayCrest dispersed.
“We got it,” said Ellis, taking her goggles off and breathing with difficulty.
“Hey, you okay?” asked Darcy.

“I am always affected.”
“Call Doctor L.”
“How are you never affected by RayCrests?” she perked up.
“Practice makes perfect!” said Darcy, winking.

Afternoon, July 1st - The Caracole Building, Archaemene Headquarters, Glasston Embankment, Londoom
They returned to the Caracole building and took the video into a conference room. They had a large screen there. Darcy placed the USB stick into his laptop and the video began playback. About ten decoders came in.
They trained Archs like Ellis in Quotidian where they learnt the calmer ways of quotidians.
RayCrests amazed her, but she also feared them. They were mysterious and connected to an unknown source.
In Dublin, Ireland, the Archs knew a man named Harper Riley. He became a wheelchair user after a motorcycle accident. During this time, they caught RayCrests accompanying him in parallel frequencies. Harper lived in depression for three years in Machia Veil. Overtime, however, he changed, and moved to Quotidian. The Archs followed him there. RayCrests often visited him, and he was a substantial source of information. After another year, he trained as a Paralympian. That’s when he arose to live in the veil of Inspiration. The Archs lost track of him there. However, many years later, he visited Machia Veil. The Archs were quick to spy on him again. He was a changed man. It terrified them. They overheard he reached enlightenment and moved to Veil One, where he would travel all four timelines in a conscious state and serve as a spiritual guide. Especially in Machia Veil. Unable to follow him anymore, the Archs vowed to never let Inspiration claim another Machian. Especially when they came back with a force capable of changing their established order.

Ellis Warnock and Darcy returned to their desks to write up the report and monitor Margaret now living in 106 Narrow Street. Hours later, Ellis searched for signs of success as half of the decoders cleared the conference room. The remaining group invited them in.
“So?” asked a keen Ellis.
“A very senior RayCrest. - Their coding has become complex. It’s probably a mood catalyst of light or a portal key,” said Bern, the head decoder.
“A portal key! That’s a breakthrough!” said Ellis.
“We believe the RayCrest generated the portal the moment Margaret stepped over the threshold of her sister’s house,” said Bern.
“Thus, making us miss it,” said Ellis.
“Making us miss it, yes. But she may have coded information before Margaret walked into her new home,” said Darcy.
“If she did, she used a Markan,” said Bern.
“Of course, a freeze code!” said Ellis. “But we would have witnessed the Markan coding.”
“Senior RayCrests may generate a Markan and hide their trail,” said another decoder.
“Right,” said Ellis.
“So what next?” asked Darcy, reading his dossier.
“Now we record from a different angle during the next interference,” said Bern.
“Great! That could be months!” said Ellis, raising her hands to her head.
“There must be something we can do! Time is of the essence!” said Darcy.
“Indeed,” interrupted Kit Mannon, walking in with one of his senior Archs. “Time is of the essence.”
“Sir!” they all stood up.
“I want all our Archs and Arch trainees monitoring RayCrest interference 24/7. We need a new portal within a week,” said Kit Mannon.
“Within a week! But that’s-” said Ellis.
“_possible,” Kit interjected.
“Yes, sir,” she said.
“Finch Kinshot is trapped in Q, and it is paramount we rescue him,” said Kit.
