Ellis and Darcy swam across the lake, only to find the battered boat empty. They dived into the water. Where did they go?

“I’ll search the area,” said Darcy, coming out of the water.

“You go east and I’ll go west. If we don’t find them. The portal must be here,” said Ellis.

Darcy dialled Kit Mannon’s number.

“Permission to set up base in Loch Lorian … The teens can’t be located. We think we have uncovered the portal … Indeed, Ellis handled it with success … Yes, sir … Thank you, sir.”

“SBU, Tarran and Anahid units to travel to Loch Lorian, on the south side of Ben Lorian. Further details on approach,” said Ellis into her comms.

“It will be difficult to assemble a camp here,” said Darcy, inspecting the grounds.

“We’ll have to build it,” said Ellis, unwavering in her mission.
