The Nightwalker’s commanders were powerful undead with levels of at least 300. Unfortunately, the giant zombie worm couldn’t take the hit from a fortress quite like the lich. His body was squashed to the point of resembling a carpet. His entrails exploded inside his skin.
“Bastard,” grunted Nijaz while summoning a bunch of energy spheres.
“My army!” cried the queen while swinging her huge legendary grade axe.
Between both of their attacks, the fortress was reduced to rubble. Unfortunately, without them even realizing it, they had sent the worm army commander to the afterlife as well.
“Is this a nightmare?” mumbled Momo upon waking up. In what world there be so many corpses littered in every direction?
“Ah, you’re awake, my steed,” said Seth while patting his head. “Just in time. I have need of your legs.”
The squirrel shook his head and forcefully took everything in. Chloe was fighting a pale zombie in the middle of two clashing hordes of undead. Alastar was about to get killed by a banshee and a wraith. The giant that had toyed with them on two separate occasions was looking at a pile of rubble where the queen and a lich were fighting to the death.
“I say we start with the giant,” said Seth with a grin.
“No!” ‘You f**king moron.’ Momo quickly checked his skill noticing it had grown to -7.
‘Holy f**k,’ he cursed under his breath. “Listen.” ‘You imbecile!’ “We have to help Alastar. If he dies, those two will come after us.”
“But, the rock guy is stronger,” complained Seth.

“Just do it!” shouted Momo before grabbing the cretin and placing him on his back. Then, after summoning every bit of mana left inside his tiny body, he jumped towards the wraith.
Alastar’s mana core was almost depleted. He couldn’t even afford to attack anymore saving all of his remaining energy for the blink spell.
“We’ve come to the rescue,” he heard a familiar voice from the right.
“Another bug has joined the fight,” scoffed the wraith.
“His timing is terrible,” said the banshee.
Momo was pissed too at his master’s lack of subtlety, but for now, he just had to deal with it. ‘Alastar, I’m relying on you,’ he muttered.
Unfortunately, the mage was so tired he was struggling to react. The banshee’s newest scream had hit him head on, and the wraith was quickly moving in for the barbeque.
“Hands off!” shouted Seth.
Having heard him nearby, the wraith quickly teleported away.
“What an idiot,” she chuckled before the banshee launched her scream. Due to Momo’s low level, his ear drums almost exploded. The pixie, on the other hand, merely winced.
“Your voice is atrocious,” he said while trying to regain his balance. However, before he could be blown out of the battlefield, Alastar teleported nearby, grabbed the pixie, and sent him and his steed right behind the banshee’s back.
Seth grinned and surrounded his fist with lightning, gravity, and fire. However, right when he was about to strike, the wraith appeared between him and the banshee.
“Not so fast,” she snickered.
“Why not?” asked Seth while punching her in the face. The wraith’s flames were stopped before they could be summoned and their master blinked away in shock.
Some distance away, Joe was left in a rather awkward position. The pixie left to help his friend and the lich was now fighting a large breasted lady with a sword. As the strongest being on this battlefield, it felt a bit weird to just bully everyone into a fight.
“Should I go back to Bratley?” he wondered while shrinking down to his human form.
But then, a fiery explosion had captured his attention. Above his head, thousands of devils were surrounding the remaining fortress. Eligos was observing his lord’s battle while cheering him on from afar.
“A battle between bosses without me?” chuckled Joe. He jumped with so much force he travelled the distance in two seconds piercing straight through the fortress's outer shell. In the midst of the resulting rubble, Beelzebub and the Nightwalker stopped their clash trying to figure out what happened.
“And you are?” asked the Nightwalker once the rock creature was revealed.
“Bored and looking for a fight,” Joe smirked. “Who's first?”
