The final showdown between the forces of Seth and evil were well underway. The warrior was facing off against the first commander while his comrades were buying him time.
“Help!” shouted Alastar, but Seth ignored him. His full focus was needed for the enemy in front of him.
“This has dragged on for too long,” said the lich.
“Agreed.”
Seth summoned an earth spear and hurled it at Nijaz. The monster crushed it with his six arms and rushed towards the warrior with over a dozen energy spheres.
Natural elements clashed with darkness energy resulting in countless explosions which tore through all nearby armies’ ranks.
“Watch it!” shouted Chloe after jumping back to avoid getting obliterated. She was trying to get to her mother, but there were just so many undead.
“Why do you drag that dead squirrel around?” asked Nijaz after this initial clash.
“My steed is just taking a nap,” countered Seth.
“I can turn it into an undead.”
“I can turn you dead.”
“I... already am.”
Feeling their neurons tensing up, both opponents collided once more.
In the meantime, Alastar was looking for a way to save his hide. The wraith was almost as fast as him while the banshee switched targets and used her long range attacks to limit his options severely.
‘Screw it,’ muttered the mage. He teleported himself right in the middle of Seth and the lich’s clash. The banshee’s wail soon followed sending all three warriors flying.
“Don’t mess with my fight!” shouted Seth.

The wraith teleported behind the pixie and tried to roast him alive. However, fire was part of Seth’s domain. He used wind to amplify it, gravity to compress it, and a touch of lightning to make it blow up in the wraith’s face.
“Stay out of my fight!” he growled while blowing her away. “Now, where were we?” Looking back at Nijaz, the lich was about to attack.
However, right when the banshee’s screech ended and the first commander started his sprint, a giant fortress fell on him from the sky. It was originally cube shaped, but whatever had struck it from above had turned the upper part into a cone.
“Joe to the rescue!” shouted a rock monster while jumping from the huge building. Upon landing, he tripped on his feet and fell on his nose. “Wassup?” he asked Seth after getting up and wiping the spring water dripping out of his nostrils.
“This is some bulls**t,” complained the pixie. “When the hero and the bad guy fight, side characters must stay out of it!”
“Are you calling me a side character?” asked Joe while releasing his compression spell. In an instant, he grew bigger than the fortress.
“Yes!” shouted Seth. "Now, either fight me or scram!"
Above their heads, inside the remaining floating vessel, shadows and flames collided with devastating effects. Countless walls and corridors were already destroyed. Numerous rooms melted and merged into each other. The two warriors were closing in on the energy chrystal supply threatening to destroy the ship entirely.
“Why are you here?” shouted the Nightwalker. “If my master learns of your presence…”
“Your master’s more fickle than the tide of this battle. I’m willing to bet my tail he’s watching this fight while munching down on corn.”
Thousands of miles away, in the Lich King’s castle, the former Hero was doing exactly that. He’d even called a few succubuses to keep him company while enjoying the fights.
“Who do you think will win?” he asked at one point.
“Shouldn’t you be helping your army?” asked a blonde one.
“Hell no. No boss shows up before his minions are defeated. There’s an order to these things.”
Back in the middle of the battlefield, a minuscule pixie was staring off against the God of rock monsters. Suddenly, the fallen fortress broke in half and the lich Nijaz burst through the top.
“God damnit,” Seth frowned. “Wait your turn! There’s an order to these things!”
However, the lich did not listen to him. He saw the giant, concluded he was an enemy, and threw 20 energy balls into the back of his head.
“Huh?” Joe turned his rocky skull. Seeing the angry Nijaz, he spit a bunch of rocks to the side. “Lich, are you high?” he asked before blasting Nijaz across the battlefield with a snap of his pinky. He then picked up the giant fortress and threw it after him.
The rock monster’s spit almost killed Chloe and the pale zombie she was now fighting. On the other hand, the fortress fell on her mother, on the giant zombie worm, and on both of their armies.
