Yuki had half a mind to slap her own face. ‘Hero my vampire ass. He’s just an idiot!'
“Moses,” Seth called gravely. “I need you, my steed. Today’s battle may be our last.”
While the squirrel complied, he gave the Spider Queen a pleading look.
“Whatever,” Yuki sighed. She took on a combat stance and her tails turned towards Seth. “If you’re that hungry for a fight, then I’ll make it a short one.”
After mounting his Royal Steed, Seth felt all of his anxiety wash away. With Moses by his side, no enemy could prevail. Yuki would fall too, but she needed to fall now. The warrior didn’t have the strength to clash with her more than once.
“Let’s go,” was his last order. Momo nodded with a matching expression. They both charged at the giant Queen like tiny Davids against a Colossus.
“This is where we fight, Spider Queen. This is where you die!” said Seth. “This…”
His spartan speech was interrupted when Momo slammed the breaks. Seth went flying on his own, head first, towards Yuki.
“Why?” he cried while looking back at his partner. The squirrel looked relieved. The enemy was smiling as well.
“Was that your last word?” asked Yuki while arming her fist and tails.
“Never!” Seth shouted. He dodged the first tail and parried her arm. He flew beneath an onslaught of blows but nevertheless carried on. With the last bit of his strength, the pixie armed his gravity punch.
“Just die already!” shouted the Spider Queen.
“After you,” the hero grinned.
Yuki fell from the blow and disintegrated into dust. Seth landed on his knees but was otherwise fine.

“Victory… Is mine,” he whispered while raising a triumphant fist.
“…How!?” both Momo and Alastar asked at the same time.
Before Seth could punish his disloyal steed or at least answer his question, the earth started to shake. A deep crack appeared in the ground and a chrystal coffin slowly rose to surface.
“Huh?” Seth flew up to check on the person inside. “It’s… It’s…”
“Beautiful, isn’t she?” said the Spider Queen while pushing open the lid.
“Why are you still alive?” asked Seth.
“Me? Why shouldn’t I be? Ooh, you must have defeated my evil twin. Yes, she has been keeping me imprisoned for a hundred years, pour me. I’ve been waiting for a brave knight, I mean, hero to save me, and here you are.”
The girl opened her arms before giving the pixie a bone crushing hug. Her acting was worse than Bratley’s.
“Hm,” the warrior pondered. “How do I know you’re not the other Spider Queen?”
“Well, she had short red hair,” said Yuki. “Mine is blonde and long. Look.” She pointed at her totally real, definitely not a wig, hair. “My name is Yu… Yuyu the kind, brave adventurer. And, I have a quest for you.”
“A quest?” Seth instantly forgot about his previous worries.
“Yes, you see: There’s and dickish, I mean, evil dragon in Bluberry Grove that threatens to f**k, I mean kill every person on this continent. The only way to defeat this beast is by luring it here.”
“Can’t I just punch him?”
“No, that would be boring, I mean pointless. You see, the dragon is immortal. Only by using the murderous, I mean, light energies stored within this dungeon can he be defeated.”
“Ooh,” the warrior nodded. This explained why his attacks had failed to obliterate Bratley.
“Seth, I think she’s…” Alastar’s mouth shut tight when a freshly decapitated vampire corpse appeared before his eyes.
“The ring, Miss Yuyu?” Momo asked with puppydog eyes.
‘Ruin my plans and I’ll cement you into the floor,’ the Spider Queen’s voice entered his mind.
“Interesting,” Seth muttered to himself. “Guys, what do you think?” Both of his vassals nodded their heads, one without even looking at him while the other was pale as a ghost.
“If you complete my quest, I’ll name you hero of the land, and everyone will praise your name for eternity.”
“Then, so be it. Miss Yuyu, I accept!”
“Great!” Yuki grinned while summoning a black stick that was covered in mana stones. “This is the baton of righteousness," she explained. "When you find Bratley, shove it up his ass and press this button. It’ll make him a lot more… cooperative.
Now, get the hell out of my, I mean Yuki’s dungeon. I need to change it into a more ‘family friendly’ Great Labyrinth.”
“You are as wise as you are kind,” Seth gave her a bow.
“…Sure,” sighed the Queen. ‘Whatever floats your boat.’
