Chapter 53

AN: Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone. Hope you're wearing green, and all that jazz.

Anyways, we're getting closer and closer to the end of the first arc, and there'll be something of a discussion page created right after the epilogue has been released. Where you'll be able to ask me all sorts of things, and even make suggestions as to what you'd like to see in the second arc/book/volume/thing. For now, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the story.

As always, folks, thank you for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let me know either down below or in my PM box.

"Never," the kitsune's paws rubbed his temples slowly, as though a headache was forming, "and I mean never, be in the same room as a succubus in heat. Especially when they've a victim under them, as their own bodies release a pheromone which causes all other bodies to become in heat."

Laughter ensued from Riorn, who simply shook his head with a helpless shrug, "One of their more common tactics in absorbing energy is to create an orgy by which they feed upon. The larger the orgy, the greater they feed, and the longer they can last."

"In more ways than one," muttered the Ageless, who excused himself from the room.

"Where is he going?" Asked the Nekotar, whose eyes had widened since the pause of such a tale.

"Don't worry about that one," grumbled a black wolf beastman, "Worry about the pervert he left us with."

"Oi," shouted the tiger, "Who are you calling a 'pervert'?"

"No one," grinned the wolf, "but it looks like you are one to the others after your little outburst." Small bursts of laughter ensued from this, whilst the other seethed in rage just as the Nekotar left in search of the golden furred kitsune.

It didn't need to search very far, as he was easily spotted near the centre of the village, watching the children playing about himself. "Cat," cried out a small blue fox atop the Ageless's head, and was pointing in its direction whilst its tail swayed quickly in excitement.

"No, little one. That is a Nekotar," his voice was soothing, containing an ocean of patience towards the small child atop his head. Gently, slowly, he lifted the small creature from his person, and set it down near his feet. However, the small kit, in turn, decided to pounce on the nine tails of his backside. It shouted with glee, as the tails rose and gently swatted its little blue head, who had fallen onto its back, pawing happily at the tails.

"Agele-," began the Nekotar, but stopped speaking once it noticed the other holding up a single forepaw.

"You wish to know why I am out here, as opposed to being in the room full of adults," at a nod, he continued with a question, "Do you know why this world is as it is? Why there are so many laws forbidding violence between the various races?"

"No, Ageless. I do not."

"A pity you do not know," his voice was soft, but the other picked up traces of disappointment within, "This world," one of his forepaws stamped the ground, causing a small dust cloud to form for a brief moment, "This very world you live, breathe, laugh, grow, and die upon is as it is because of the children. Look around you, young Nekotar, and tell me what you see."

It spun around itself slowly, taking in the world about its small form, before sitting itself closer to the kitsune, "A peaceful village with lots and lots of happy children."

"Yes," he nodded towards the other's answer, just as the small, blue creature turned its attention towards the other's tail. It watched the appendage slowly, before pouncing upon it. Of which caused the cat-like creature to yowl with surprise, whilst its body leapt into the air, and landed atop his head.

"Sorry," cried the kit, as it stared into the other's eyes with tears in its own. Of whom received a small hug by the Ageless, before scampering off with a yip.

"This world is for the children," his voice was calm, as the paws lifted the young Nekotar from his head, and placed it upon the ground, "Each and every one of them will inherit this world; but come, we must continue the story." His voice became light, as he ushered the other back inside the small room, only to become cold as he listened in on what the old tiger beastman was saying.

"-and then he took out his mace, and swung it with such strength that it knocked the First Son's head clean off. Thus, he was able to-," his mouth became sheepish, as his eyes stared upon the Ageless's body in the dorrway. The expression upon the tiger's visage slowly turned into an "I've made a horrible mistake", as his body slowly backed into a nearby corner.

"How far did you skip ahead, Riorn?" Energy, the colour of crimson and violet, crackled about the body of the kitsune, whose expression was not at all amused by what he had seen and heard.

He hummed slowly, as his eyes widened from the black wolf's question, "Is it true the Demon Lord's 'First Son' was the world called Terra's god, and he governed over the humans?"

"You've skipped too far ahead, Riorn." Blacked clouds formed about the kitsune's body, slowly transforming it into a very large wolf-like creature. His own voice had even changed, as though four others, in various pitches, had joined in as he spoke slowly, "Know that I am very disappointed in you." A pair of dark crimson eyes glared at the now terrified body of the beastman.

"One full season-"

"Please. No," murmured the old tiger, as his body tried to shrink and hide within the shadows.

"One full season," spoke the demon with five voices, "you are not allowed to step forth within a village, town, or city. No fortress, castle, or farmhouse, will you be allowed to step foot in, either. Your only solace is with people who own a cabin, or you can live in a cave. This do I decree for my disappointment in you."

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

"No," he wailed, as violet and emerald coloured chains erupted out of air, wrapping themselves about his body. From within the shadows, below and above came long, bone-like clawed hands, that gripped his body tightly. This was to keep it secured, as another clawed hand brought forth a red hot brand with an odd symbol upon it. This symbol, although unknown, was given to those who have incurred the banishment penalty, and was placed upon the forehead of the victim.

It was done so to Riorn, who begged, flailed, and wailed as the brand was placed upon his forehead. The sizzling and burning of flesh was heard throughout the room, but surprisingly, none outside was able to hear it, as there was a lack of bodies crowding the doorway. No, instead, once the branding was complete, the body of the victim was hauled away into the shadows, and deposited upon the grounds outside of the village's perimeter.

Those with the mark of banishment, however, would not be able to hide this mark by any means, as it is a god-tier spell only a few are able to wield. The only way to have it removed was to beg an Ageless, or something like them, to remove it. However, as it was placed by the kitsune, none would dare do this, or incur the wrath of one such as he.

Slowly, turning themselves back towards the kitsune in question, the small group of various races who lived in the village were somewhat relieved to find his body had become his original form, albeit with a few wisps of shadows hanging about his head. A few would claim, on a much later date, that it appeared as though it were the remnants of a crown about his brow. However, like that of his demonic form, it, too, vanished as he calmed down.

"How much did he tell you?" Asked the Ageless in a calm and soothing voice, as though what took place never occurred. "Well?"

"Umm," hummed the black wolf beastman, who shivered as a pair of fire orange eyes stared upon his person, "Just that you killed the god that governed over the world called Terra, and a few short tales about the various sexual positions you had with the Dragon." His own eyes drifted around his head, beseeching others for help, but all simply took a step back, not wishing to become involved, and possibly incurring his ire.

However, a sighed ensued from him, as a cup appeared between his paws, "He jumped too far. Perhaps I should have extended Riorn's banishment to two seasons. Well, it's too late now."

A long silence permeated throughout the room, and all about his person desired to know if what the tiger beastman had said was true, without exactly voicing the question themselves. "Yes, it is true," his own voice was soft, as all began to try and voice their own questions, but were stopped by an upraised forepaw. "No, I will not speak of such things at this time. However, know that I did what I did for the benefit of all, including the children, and I would do so again and again for all time."

*****

"No, we need to continue on with the story at hand," sighed the kitsune, whose forepaws began to rub his temples from an imaginary headache, "There are several issues I need to address before we continue, though."

One of which happened to be the after effects of the pheromones released by the elven succubus. This one caused the body of the dragon-woman to continuously try to copulate with my person, repeatedly. So great was her need for copulation, her mind became lost for a few turns of the sun, as my own satisfied her needs during this time.

No, I shall not speak of the details, but know if you'd have seen such a spectacle, many of the females would drag you, the males, off to try a few of what we did. I am quite certain this event would have caused them to become in a heat-like state for a time, so be grateful you do not have to endure it.

On the other hand, the second issue was of her wanting to create a fertilised egg between us, but had to explain to her why I could not gift her with my seed. To this, she chuckled as though I were a child who had said something amusing, before telling my person, "You do not need to have seed to create a child."

"Explain. Slowly," my voice was calm, but within my own mind, chaos ensued. Imagine, if you would, never being allowed to have children, then someone tells you that you can. Yes, many would be skeptical, perhaps a tad hopeful, if all other procedures failed completely.

'Why was your mind in chaos?' You may ask, and I shall tell you it was because of her explanation. "You do not need seed to impregnate a female," she told my being in a calm manner, as her naked, scaled body snuggled closer into my furred chest. If you've forgotten, my body was that of a kobold when she took me into a different room, and I have not changed since them.

"Instead, if the pair are willing, as well as being of a high level, then they are able to share their energies with one another. Of course," a forefinger began to trace itself in a small pattern upon the centre of my chest, "the two would need a vessel of some sort. Because, without one, the mixture of our energies would simply fall apart; it might even explode."

"I suppose you have a vessel ready to accept our combined energies?" To this, her expression became sorrowful, but brightened up considerably moments later.

"Not right now, no, but if you were to return within a full moon-turn, then I will be able to create an egg large enough for us both." Her laughter soon filled the air, melodious and joyful, as my own voice gave a great roar of excitement at this. For the next full turn of the sun, did we spend together within that small room. Which did fill with many moans from the dragon-woman who would grant my greatest wish in life.

"To have a child of my very own."
