"Brutus, you will need to stay here," I commanded my Lich King, who pouted for a time before standing tall once more, "My reason comes from your latest outburst. Not only that, but the False God will more than likely be looking out for your person."

"Why is that, Karastak?" asked a flame-haired Human child who appeared to be of eight cycles, was clothed in flame coloured leathers, and cocked his head towards his left shoulder. This one, by the by, was the Flame Golem in a more Human guise. For although he is a giant, his body is still relatively new, hence the child-like body.

My own chosen body, at that time, was also a Human, but of an armoured knight with a large sword strapped to my back, whilst holding a glaive in my right hand and a tower shield strapped to my left arm. "For appearance sake, please refer to my person as Lord Karastak," to this, the other nodded slowly whilst I continued with, "To answer your query, Brutus is one of the original Undying who came from Terra. As a matter of fact, he was among the first to be chosen for such a venture, but the only one whose body was crafted by my person.

"Therefore, I would not wish for the False God of Terra to try and steal away anymore of what is mine."

"Ah, okay," was all he replied, as his eyes drifted over the area in which we had come to.

For it was the garden of my Guild's castle, which held only a few of my Undying, Brutus, my person, and Azazel. Of whom had a confused look about her person, as she had never seen the child before. However, before she was able to speak her mind, another hurried over to our position.

This one was an Elf with silvered hair and dark orbs for eyes. Of whom wore only endarkened robes, and held a staff of gold under his right arm. "Didn't think I'd make it in time," he spoke with a light, melodic voice as he panted slightly from the run.

"You sleep too much, Be'el," spoke the child, of whom was called Ignis, "We told you Lady Azazel was going to be here within a few hours."

"No," the other shook his head quickly, then straightened his hair as many a lock fell in front of his face, "Karastak said at dawn, but it's still perpetual night."

"That is how this space is, Be'el," my voice was full of amusement at their words, "Besides, we do have items which are being used to tell the approximate time outside of here."

"You mean those strange, cylindrical objects made of metal?" At my nod, he continued with a sheepish grin, "You may need a new one for my room, then. I kind of, maybe, broke it from the noise it made."

To this, I sighed and turned to the silvered haired Azazel who was truly confused at the entirety of the situation and asked, "Is the portal ready?"

"Um... Yes?" she scratched her head as a white-silver spell circle wrapped itself around our positions, and we teleported away.

*

"We need to find a way to distract Azazel," my voice rumbled over the heads of those in attendance, "as she will undoubtedly ask who you all are if you were to show up out of nowhere and request a spot to teleport into Terra along with my person."

"Why should the little God King need to be distracted?" asked Beelzebub, who was just as confused as the rest of them. Save for the twins who were still sleeping off their release, and Hephaestus whose area had become a mess of blueprints and schematics.

"She will more than likely deny you all entry, if she realises you are all not my servants, but Gods. For she will only allow my person to traverse the world, as I am a God in my own right."

"Then how?"

"Oh, it is quite simple, really," called out Sia, of whom slowly approached my position, then twirled to address the others, "Just keep talking. It's really easy to keep her off balance if there are multiple parties talking all at once."

"And how do you know this, Sia?" my attention turned towards her person, which caused her right, primary clawed hand to scratch at the space which used to have an ear.

"Well, the Lady Sarah can be quite talkative to us Chosen when you're not around, My Lord God. I don't think she even realised she gave up quite the weakness towards someone who is supposed to be their ruler."

"Very well, then we shall come up with something for such an occasion. Which begs the query," my gaze slowly swept over the table as I took in everyone in attendance, "who will be joining my person in the next venture?"

*

Where we ended up this time, was not in a cave, nor within a temple of some sort. Instead, it was in the middle of a small village with only a few dozen clay based shacks surrounding our persons. Of course, we were not alone, as there was three others within our party. Each of them was Human, and held large bows in their left hands, with a pair of quivers at either hip. Their own clothing was shadowed leathers that covered their entire bodies, save for the eyes, which were each Hazel Brown, Steel Blue, and Forest Green.

These beings stared about their persons, and only gave a short salute to us, as they slowly milled about the area in search of life. However, they paused for a moment and, as one, fired of a single arrow towards the huts. Within half a heartbeat, three goblins wielding rusted weapons rushed their position, but were taken out by the archers and their Greatbows.

"Let us begin," my voice rumbled, as I slammed the butt of the glaive deep into the hard packed earth at our feet. Afterwards, I sat down next to it, whilst Be'el and Ignis channeled their energies into my body.

This allowed my person to perform the next step in my plan to control our world of Terra. For it was simply to corrupt the land around us, so that it would only answer to my call and no one else.

*

"Once we are upon your world, what is it you wish for us to do?" asked Beelzebub, of whom had opted to join my person along with the Fire Golem.

"We shall perform a rite I have stolen from one of your many Demons," was my reply, as a spell circle erupted in front of my person. One which would grant the pair safe travel into my castle, which was upon an Azzarathean Plane.

This was necessary, as the Gods and Goddesses of the Pantheon expressed their concerns, and barred their persons from ever stepping upon what is theirs. Especially when these refused to join their group, and instead chose to stay by my side along with the promises I intended to keep. Such as the creation of my own Pantheon which would allow their persons to no longer hide, as well as grant them their own Divinities which will give them the right to be called a "God".

Yes. I promised and granted their persons Divinity when others would not. For I always keep my promises, and they were the first to join my Pantheon. Of which has only grown since its creation, as I do not discriminate so long as they adhere to my laws.

"Which is?" he asks slowly, not sure which rite I meant to perform. For there were many amongst his kin, and many of them would grant what I desired.

However, the one I chose was, "The Rite of Control," which caused him to double over with laughter. Whereas the Golem and I simply stared at his person with unamused glares.

"Forgive me," the God of Gluttony's voice was still full of mirth, as he wiped a false tear from his eyes, "but I don't think I heard you correctly. Did you say 'The Rite of Control'?" At my ascent, he laughed once more before straightening himself and his robe.

"What is so funny?" demanded the Golem, who was just as confused as I was.

"It's just that that rite is only used on lesser creatures than one's self. How do you expect to use it on a world much greater than you?"

"You underestimate my power, Beelzebub," my own voice was full of mirth, as I directed each of their persons to stand in the centre of the spell circle. Of which engulfed their entire being, and transformed their bodies into an Elf and child which will deflect any pryings of their person.

*

Yes. "The Rite of Control", one which has been used many a time to control the lesser minds of others to do as they wish. Be it for simple slaveries, or only for a time in order to gather information about their next target.

I, on the other hand, was to use it by pooling the energies of three great beings in order to extend my control over our world of Terra. However, this will be needing several dozen trips to accomplish, perhaps even more. This is so, as I do not know how large our world was, at the time. Which meant that we would be using the Rite even after we are caught, just to make the process much easier for the next step. Of which can only be performed after we meet up with Roj and his Tribunal of Fools.

As to what occurred? Well, the first thing we did was allow my person to sit between Be'el and Ignis. All the while, I simply meditated and gathered up my strength as a barrier of endarkened energies formed around our persons. This was simply to keep out the prying eyes of the False God, who was undoubtedly watching our persons. Ah, but it also had another ability, not just shielding us away. For it erased our presence almost completely, and no, I did not realise this at the time.

In any case, after gathering up my energies, the pair slowly gathered up their own, and sent it directly into my body whilst I performed the Rite.

A large spell circle full of darkness and chaos, erupted around our persons. This energy was so wreathe in shadows, it appeared as though we were floating in the emptiness of the void which surrounds each of our worlds. Of which then allowed my person to push my collected energies deep into the ground. Whereupon it did slowly corrupt the earth and everything below, as it slowly spread itself outwards. This allowed my person to see the whole of the area, as it continued to spread until it struck something akin to a barrier.

Casting my gaze to such an area, I found the images to be quite shocking. Enough so, that I shared my vision to the others. Which caused Ignis to widen his eyes and stare at Be'el, who simply shook his head whilst continuing to pour the energies within himself into my own body.
