A3 Chapter 3

AN: There will be a whole lot more interruptions and info dumps in this one, folks, as the MC has little control over his audience. For there are barely any actual adults in this one, and the rest are 17 and 18 years/cycles old. Towards the end of the story, I'll be giving you guys an explanation as to why he has so little control. Such as why the Elves rebelled as they did, when they did not in the past.

As always, thank you all for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to voice them.

"Now, as I was say-," the Ageless paused in his words to stare at the Elf once more. Of whom had her arms raised in a timid fashion, "Yes Annara?"

"Um, why did you have Roj and the Halfling," her voice trailed off as she slumped into her chair.

"You should know why, as I've already explained it once before. I detest their very existence, for they were instrumental in my person being removed from our world of Terra." Once more, the Kitsune spoke in a tone which held a vast amount of patience for those before him, "May I resume the story, or do you have any more queries?"

This time, a Shade raised its left hand, and stood up slowly, "If we do not wish to hear anymore, can we leave?"

"Of course," the other nodded, flicking one of his many tails in the creature's direction, of which opened up a portal revealing an image of the Great Hall in perfect stillness, "However, once you leave, you cannot return. So make your choice." This revelation caused the other to change its mind, and quickly sat down.

"Anymore queries, or may I continue?" After a moment of searching the facial features of others, the Ageless leaned farther back into the throne, and nodded slowly, "Very well."

Now, let my person begin with something else. Yes. I had placed a 'Sear Enchantment' spell upon the entryway leading into a large gathering hall, but this was simply to remove any enchantments one might have upon their person to disguise themselves as they made their way inwards. One such being, a human, had decided upon themselves to forgo the rule of "No Humans", and cloaked themselves with a spell that made their appearance look much like a Dragonock.

Ah, but you must understand why I chose to begin with this Human. For you see, this one was of those who believe themselves to be above everyone else, and felt entitled to everything placed in front of them. Yes. I see a few of you nodding, and believe you've met many of those beings. This always seemed to intrigue my person, as they always spout such nonsense before they are torn apart.

This one, however, would be under the category of "Pretty Boy". As it had the golden blonde hair, baby blue eyes, rugged, yet handsome face, and a "rock hard body" that was chiseled from stone. However, it was still barred from entering the area, as a pair of Undead Behemoths were tasked with guarding the place from those who did not meet the criteria. Thus, it was given a robe, mask, and minour enchantment.

As to who had given this one such items? Well, I may have had a hand in doing so.

Yes. I am quite aware of the contradiction in attitude of my person, but I had grown bored with not being allowed to visit Roj and his Tribunal of fools, and desired some form of entertainment to pass the time. For you see, even after having the item forged which would mask my abilities from even the Gods themselves, I had found my person quite impatient due to the slow trickle of those who desired to be a part of this "Call to Arms" Azazel had posted upon their own Adventurer's Board.

The Human would serve best as a distraction for what is to come. For I watched its masked figure stride forwards under the enchanted doorway, removing everything from his person until it became apparent to many others it was simply a Human in a Draconic mask. However, instead of calling out to the creature, they simply snickered and placed bets on how long this one would last. As there had been a few others who tried to infiltrate the area full of Monsters to do who knows what, but all were either captured or killed before they could do any sort of damage.

This one, on the other hand, lasted for quite a while. For it swerved through the area as though on a mission, and did not tarry for long between the multitude of groups. Instead, this one seemed to be searching for something in particular, and had latched its eyes onto Brutus. Of whom was speaking with a few Undead who had attained the desirable rank of Lich.

"Are you in charge here?" growled the Human, who glared down upon Brutus as though he were nothing more than a stepping stone upon its path to greatness.

Brutus, who wore a white robe and lightly held a cracked staff of bloodstained bone, slowly twisted his metallic skull to look upon the poorly disguised human and snickered at it. This caused the other Lich's to also join in, for although my Lich was very different than the others, what with his bones being of iron and sporting four arms, he was very much not in charge. "No," his voice held a twinge of annoyed amusement, as the emerald pinpoints in his eye sockets drifted across the creature behind him. Finding nothing of interest, his skull slowly righted itself as he returned to the conversation with the others.

Not at all enjoying being ignored, the Human gripped the other's right shoulder with the intent to turn him around. However, before it could utter a word, I had appeared behind it and lifted its body high into the air with my right, lesser clawed hand. For I had decided to reveal my skeletal self to those in the room, and many of whom gasped at my appearance. Unfortunately for them, and this Human, they each had the same thought and believed my person was a creature of Brutus. However, the Lich trio before him knew differently, for they had already met my person beforehand.

In any case, the being struggled in my grip, demanding Brutus to release his person from the grip of his monster. "You're on your own, Human," his left clawed hand waved at the other, "For My Lord God has you now, and you will not be leaving anytime soon."

"What?!" the Human screeched aloud, struggling desperately as I held him close to my skull.

"Human," my voice shook the entirety of the room, causing all to stare upon my person with a mixture of emotions, "you have come at the most opportune time. For I desire another to complete my experiment. Brutus, if you would?"

"Of course, My Lord God," his body turned towards my person once I called out his name, and saluted towards my person as I finished. He then slowly walked off towards a shadowed corner of then room, and brought back an ornate tub full of liquefied remains of over a dozen humans. There was even a few eyes floating within the mixture, and seemed to stare up in horror at my latest victim. To which the other increase its struggles, even though it was futile to continue.

"Resign in your fate, Human, for you will not escape," my tone became light and mocking, as its body was transferred into my right, primary clawed hand. Whereupon I did sink my foreclaw into its flesh, injecting my venom which began to eat away at the creature's insides. All the while, it continued to struggle, though feebly, as I used my magicks to prolong its sufferings. Before long, it began to scream, desiring someone from the audience to save its person from my own, as it watched with growing horror as its legs slowly liquefied into the tub.

Yes. A few within my growing audience had crept forward to view such a spectacle, as well as others to try and halt such torture upon the Human. However, others from within held them back, speaking to their persons in low tones in order to keep them from halting the process. That is, until a lone female, feline Kin spoke up.

"...But I know him. He may be an idiot, but he doesn't deserve this fate," to which she shook off the other who had gripped her arm, and strode forwards with the intent to help somehow. Unfortunately for her, I had taken note of her words. So that when she approached my person with the intent to attack with something attached to her back, my right, lesser clawed hand pointed its foreclaw towards her chest, and released a bolt of chaotic mana. This bolt thundered throughout the room, striking the female's chest with enough strength to pin her body into the opposite wall. Whereby all could view the lifeless eyes with a trickle of blood flowing from the corners of her mouth, and the massive hole in the centre of her chest.

"Will there be any more interruptions?" My voice was hollow, as the screaming intensified. For the Human was now losing every organ and strand of flesh below its lungs and heart, whilst I held it up by wrapping the whole of my left, lesser clawed hand around its spine at the base of its skull. "No? How unfortunate."

Growing weary of the lack of response from this audience, my primary, clawed hands gripped the Human's upper torso, and slowly tore it into two separate pieces. Whereby I did deposit the rest of the body into the tub of liquefied flesh whilst excreting more of my acidic poisons into the mixture. Soon afterwards, I summoned up one of my favourite servants. A golem named Gahn, who had taken a liking to my person so much so, it had decided to emulate my physical form. In this case, the creature was a mirrored image of my skeletal self, but paused mid transformation when it noted the tub full of my poison and the remains of my victims.

"Gahn," I called out for its attention, which then turned towards my person with a body language full of longing. This caused a chuckle to rumble from deep within, as I lightly pat the top of its malformed skull, and pointed towards the remains, "Enjoy yourself. For it was specially prepared for one such as you." Of which caused the other to hobble slowly towards the small pool of liquefied flesh, bone, and organ meat, where it slowly flowed inward, devouring everything including the tub.

Chuckling once more, I turned back towards the now thoroughly hushed crowd, and opened my arms to their persons with the words of, "Welcome. Welcome all of you, to the beginning of the end. I am here to invite your persons to the greatest event in the history of Azzarath; in the history of your 'Origin Point Online'."
