The journey itself was short, yes, but it was uneventful as well. Even though there were a few scares from the children desiring to peer over the sides, nothing much occurred until we came upon the airspace of the Demons. Of whom, as you well know, are only called as such by the inhabitants of Terra. They are, in fact, Terran Dragons and Draconians who were once feared by all, as well as nearly hunted into extinction on several occasions.

Soon after my ascension, however, we did put a stop to all who dared to attack their persons, and had even invited many into Necropolis where they were guarded against any and all who would dare to attack their persons. Of course, the inhabitants were fiercely loyal to my person, and would not do such a thing, but there were still a few from other cities that were not under my full control. These were swiftly dealt with by the populace in its entirety, which startled the Demons who believed such beings would rend them limb from limb. So imagine their surprise when they realised that the city of Necropolis was open for them to step onto, and even live in.

Yes. Only a few within that first cycle made the effort to journey to the city which was under Brutus's control. These were even more surprised when the populace greeted their persons warmly, stood up for them, and would even speak to them without the use of a weapon pointed at their hearts. Quite amicable, the people of Necropolis were, but were also very confusing by the rest of Terra's standards.

For example, the Alabaster City held a wide variety of creatures and people going about their daily business without much in the way of caring how everyone appeared before their eyes. There was no set of clothing for fashion, no prime race of nobles, and we had dealt with the poor without resulting to violence. This last issue brought up many concerns, as the other cities had such issues and would tend more towards bloodshed than anything else.

How did we deal with the problem? Well, each of the populace, save for the children, have a place to work. Even if they are disfigured, disabled physically or mentally, or an amputee; everyone has a job they can do without the need to beg for food. Which leads to the food "problem" people seem to have. If any of your have been to the Undercroft beneath the city, you would know it to be a very large farm which spans three different levels. This is what I and mine had created after what became known as the Plains of Nu'Ohn. For the area before the city was of farmlands, and would have run out of food if we had not created the second city.

Yes. Brutus also controls this as well, and for those of whom are curious as to why we had done away with the taxes. Well, we have something which can generate precious metals on a whim. All it needs is energy, and no, I will not speak of what it is, nor of where you may find it.

For now, we return to the story at hand.

Once we entered the airspace of the Terran Dragons, did we come across a squad of red and gold Draconians who were awaiting our persons. Yes. As many of you have already realised, this was more than a simple whim of mine to journey towards their canyon home.

In any case, they appeared relieved once it was determined that the large dragon carrying the basket was my person with a few others which included some non-combatants staring up at everyone with saucer-like eyes full of wonder and curiosity. Which caused more than a few to chuckle as they led my person towards a "Landing Zone". I believe that's what people call it these days. Of which we were greeted by the Second Son in his golden armour, and a red-scaled, female Draconian wearing a long, flowing dress of endarkened crimson. This was, of course, the Demon Lord of our world, and would also become a cherished friend of the family soon enough.

"We are honoured to have you here, Ageless," spoke the female, who bowed low. This was echoed by the male, who appeared to not enjoy such a thing, and was bade to rise by Sarah.

"He doesn't like that, you know," her voice was tired, as though she had to endure such a thing far longer than my person, "So don't start with the bowing and scraping. Just wave or salute at him whenever he's around."

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

This, of course, startled the pair, but caused the male to grin as though it was some great joke. That is until he noted my blank expression with slightly drooped eyes. Only then did he believe it wasn't at all what he thought it would be, but gave his assent that such wishes would be done.

"You said there was an issue?" My voice rumbled around their persons as my body slowly became that of my Kitsune self with crimson coloured trousers, "Will you show it to my person?"

"Oh, of course," jumped the Demon Lord, of whom was called the All Mother, and motioned for my person to follower her own, "If you would please."

"Um, Ageless," called out Sia who was busy lifting several of the children out of the basket, "What are we-?"

"I'll help you with the exploration, and what not, Lady Sia," piped up the Second Son, of whom grinned at the thought of being around the Chosen.

To which I simply shrugged and called out to them, "Don't break anything, especially someone," and left with the All Mother and Sarah towards the canyon proper.

This jaunt of ours would take perhaps half a decca-turn, and was rather uneventful beyond the chatter between my wife and the All Mother. Of whom appeared to be just as talkative as I remembered her to be. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, she did not remember my person once the world had returned to its original settings.

For the time being, but only after they were done speaking to one another, I questioned her person as to what was happening within her home. Which led her to speak, "I don't know exactly, but there is some sort of presence, or an energy, which has been slowly seeping into the lower canyon floors. It's nothing really harmful, but it is worrying, because whatever this energy touches is whisked away to who knows where. After a while, the item is then found embedded into the stone walls as though the stone formed around the object which was stolen."

"So you are worried that if one of your people touches this, they will be whisked away to who knows where then return trapped in the stone?" Came my inquiry as we each stopped within a bare chamber with a tendril of white mist slowly forming and stretching towards the ceiling above.

It was here that I noted the eyes of the All Mother had widened greatly once she took note of this, pointing a clawed forefinger towards this unknown energy, "That's it right there, but this is the first time it has shown up this far up."

"Hmm," my voice hummed softly as I approached. Whereas the pair behind my person called for caution as I encircled it. "I will be fine," I waved behind as I reached out to grasp the tendril. Whereupon I did send my own energies into such a thing in order to discern its location. However, after I had done such a thing, I felt a weak pull as the mist tried to absorb my personal stores of energy into its entirety, but was far too weak to break through that which shielded my person against such a thing.

"I will return shortly," the pair were informed as I had found the source of this mist. For it was near the central core of our world, which confused my person greatly as to how I could have missed such a thing. This, once more, caused the pair to caution my person against going alone.

To which I replied with, "There are only three others in this Universe who pose a threat to my safety. The first is at its centre, the second is upon its outskirts, and the third is guarded by the Gatekeeper. Of whom is the only being capable of keeping the third one locked away for all time.

"Therefore," I turned around slowly to wave at their persons with a slight smile upon my facial features, "I have nothing to worry about, and neither do you," and transported my self into that which was where the white mist originated from.
