AN: I'm up early, I've things to do, and I don't know what to call the cutesy/adorable book. Of which was supposed to be book number four, but was pushed back for another one which ties into Nox number two's mannerisms and the like. Honestly, if you folks have any ideas as to what the title should be, let me know. It's a stress I really want gone.
Really, though, that one is about children being children, and not much else. No super powers, automatic understanding of everything, or the like. Just children having fun with imaginary adventures in a fantasy setting.
Anyways, thank you all for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to voice them.

"Come on, come on," grumbled an old male Bear-kin, who wore an outdated, iron armour in the image of a horned bear. Of whom laid flat atop an outcropping overlooking a mountain pass below. Along the ridges of the pass were a multitude of Kin and Beastman, each with bows and spears whilst they huddled against the loose boulders which will be used to block their quarry.
Of which was a large contingent of an army meant to fight off against the Demon Lord's armies which had amassed to the north of said pass. These individuals, each a Human, wore bright and shining armour as they rode through the pass atop fresh horses with their own colours and armour. This was merely the vanguard, by the by, and had been told by their commanding officers that they must secure the mountain pass before the rest of the army was to come. This meant that these Humans were to guard the pass from all others, and were not going to receive very much support if they run into any trouble.
Yes. They did run into such trouble within the first hour upon reaching the mountain pass. For just as the last of the vanguard entered the area, did the loose boulders fall, sealing their only exit as a mass of Kin and Beastmen howled and roared with joy as they bombarded their victims with stones, arrows, and spears.
"Why didn't the scouts report anything?" cried out a Human with a plume of red dyed feathers atop his helmet. Of whom drew back the reigns of his horse as it reared backwards from witnessing a large spear landing just centimetres from its nose. Which then cried out in pain and fear, as a pair of arrows landed upon its rump, and bolted forward, throwing off its rider. Unfortunately for the beast, a trap was waiting for it approximately one hundred metres in the direction it headed.
This trap, by the by, was a "Spike Wall Trap". Which was laid flat upon the ground as two individuals with great strength sat in wait for anyone not of their group to pass near. When they noted the horse rushing towards it, they did not know if it had a rider or not, but still took action. In this case, they each pulled on a rope which triggered said trap, then tied it off against an anchor in the stones behind them. This insured that it would stay upright through some of the weight throne against it.
The moment the horse, who was blind with fear and pain, struck the trap, both ropes had a few of its threads snap under the strain whilst the rest held it steady from the impact. Of which led to the now screaming horse, as each of the spikes were barbed and coated with a stinging poison which drove anyone mad with pain. However, the whole of the beast was stuck to the trap, rendering it useless against others if they approached it.
On the other hand, this was not the only trap available, as a multitude of weighted nets were tossed down upon the cowering Humans below. Of whom so desperately tried to shield themselves from the perceivably never ending barrage of stones, arrows, and spears. Since many of the comrades and companions had fallen to such an onslaught, the living had decided to use their heavy bodies as shields, as they slowly made their way towards the only exit of the mountain pass.
Right into the waiting arms of the old Bear-kin. Of whom roared a great roar as he, and many others, charged the remainder of the vanguard with bloodlust in his aged eyes.

Sarah had moved her body from my left, and sat upon my lap with her legs draped over my own. Her back was against my chest, as well, and had snuggled up against my body whilst my own Kobold head rested atop her wolfish one. Our arms, at this point, had entwined with one another, whilst our fingers were laced together with the top of her clawed hand rested against the palms of my own.
Truly, if one were to witness such a spectacle, they would simply see two Beastfolk enjoying themselves as they watched the slaughter upon various worlds unfold. However, the Lady Goddess was not at all enjoying herself with the spectacle before her ever changing eyes. Instead, she was simply relaxing against my person whilst she droned out the horrors of the worlds before her eyes.
To this, I simply smiled as she was still quite pure in her ways, whilst slowly accepting the corruption of my energies as they slowly seeped into her being. Yes. My energies and aura was quite corrupted, and caused others to follow suit. For I was simply an Undead God, which meant everything that came close would soon become a twisted version of what it should have been. In this case, my darling wife-to-be was slowly accepting the colours of death and violence, instead of solely using bright colours to paint the world around her. Which would, in turn, allow her to grow and become more mature than she already was.

To put it another way, she was a child in the body of an adult by the time she truly met my person. When she stuck by my side, however, did she truly become the woman I so dearly love with my unbeating heart. No. She did not show this much affection for one such as I until a few cycles before this. This was around the time I and mine had grown quite excited at the prospect of returning to our home, and only had two worlds left to conquer.
In any case, the images had shifted in on themselves, as the world changed to another. This time, it was of a desert planet, and one Sarah knew quite well. For she brightened up considerably, as her eyes widened and ears pricked forwards, "That's Nira's world," she exclaimed, with her tail twitching against my abdomen, "Why are you able to see it like she can?"
With this inquiry, she had turned her body towards my person, whilst her eyes stared with a sparkling beauty into my own. "This Nira, was it?" my voice began, as she nodded her head slowly, "She is one of the Gods who are in a supposed alliance with the False God of my world. Hence, she and others must be distracted whilst we wage our wars in order to draw him out and take back the world which is rightfully ours."
"But," she began slowly, not at all understanding why this was necessary, "why, though? Why not just make your claim to the Pantheon?"
To this, my eyes grew dark as I recalled my past. Of which alerted Brutus who had kept quiet, and spoke aloud with, "Our Lord God has already tried this method, Lady Goddess Sarah. Which led to us being denied our right to our world. Thus, we must turn towards this war of attrition in order to draw out the False God and reclaim our home by force."
"But," Sarah softly barked, still confused as to what she had just heard, but quieted as my arms snaked around her body, drawing her close. This action did quell her thoughts, as my energies slowly overwhelmed her being with soothing strokes against her mind and body. Of which caused her to close her eyes with a soft smile as she snuggled closer to my own.
"This is necessary, Sarah," my voice murmured softly as she nuzzled the left side of my neck, "For without this, then the False God would simply call on others who will then try their best to obliterate my person. Which would then leave you all alone."
Yes. These words of mine were used to stir her heart and mind in defense of my person. Which had succeeded, as I was quite manipulative when I chose to be. However, she was, at this point, mine and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Whereas, Brutus's eyes flared briefly with crimson, as they echoed my own whilst my lips stretched into a grin full of determined excitement for the future to come.

"You," a Bright Elf sat within the centre of the crowd which listened to the Ageless's story shook with barely controlled rage, "You manipulated our Lady Goddess's heart, didn't you? Have you no shame?" This Elf, of whom was a male, was pointing at the other's body with an accusing finger. To which he simply raised his right eyebrow at such a thing.
"Yes, and?" he asked, as his eyes sparkled with great amusement. Whereas the other simply shook as the rage within his body desired to be released in a violent burst, but only came out as an unintelligible cry. "Are you done yet?"
"Why did you do that?" whispered another Bright Elf, who rose to apologise towards the Ageless, and console the other who had sat back down.
"I believe he was simply angered by the fact that I am not a perfect being, and was willing to do much in order to have everything fall my way," the God King called out, amusement filling his words, "Yes. I did all of this and more. Why? Why not?
"Sarah was there, and was willing to stand by my side regardless of what I did. Why shouldn't I take advantage of the situation and bring her farther to my side? If each of you were in my position, had done what I did, thought my thoughts, and so on, you would have done the same.
"So no, I will not apologise for it, and will continue to do as my past has done. For I am simply within my rights to do so."
Whereas the Elf simply glared at his person, not at all enjoying the words he heard spoken from the other upon the golden throne, "Then we'll tell her what you did to her past-"
"Please," chuckled the Ageless, of whom found all of this quite amusing, "As I have said before, everything that I have accomplished can be found within the libraries scattered across our world of Terra. Don't you think it would be odd if she hadn't read any of my and mine's escapades by now?
"Besides," his eyes flared a brilliant emerald as he continued, "since she has become wholly and unequivocally mine, I have not barred her from anything she desires. Be it simply painting as she is known for to chatting with her friends. Or, as many others know her for, if she desires to understand the Darkness of death and violence. None of these have been barred from one such as she."
