"I have come to a decision as to what we shall do with you, Azazel number two," my voice boomed throughout the greathall of our Midnight Castle. It had been another full turn by the time Sarah had awoken from her recovered sleep, and during that time I had contemplated on what to do. "We shall be using your person to take over the Azzarathean Pantheon."

Upon so saying, my body leaned back against the high back of the throne, with elbows upon the arm rests, and paw pads touching one another as the room erupted with some opposition. Those of whom decided to oppose such a thing came mainly from Sia and Shauu, but only due to the fact that the children really loved having her around. Whereas Sarah simply stared at my person with a mixture of confusion and a blank expression. Quite odd, to be sure, but it mattered little to my person.

"My reasons for this are quite clear," these calmed many within, as the eyes of this Azazel widened greatly when I continued, "The God King will have no doubt found out about our involvement with the armies that attacked their worlds. Not only this, but many of their worlds are being fought over by outside forces. Thus, weakening her further."

"How do you know of this, Ageless?" inquired Sarah, who was currently showing concern for those she had known all her life.

"I have many sources within the Pantheon, my dear, of whom will not be named," which was the truth, and they're still there. No. Their names will not be spoken of, for if I do speak their names, you will all have to disappear or have your minds tampered with.

"You think this is a jest?" The Ageless's eyes drooped as his facial features became blank. It was here that his audience realised he was completely and utterly serious, and shivered where they sat.

"Well, did these sources say anything important?"

"Such as your mother becoming mad, cursing my name, actively trying to curse my person, and fighting off those who are viewed as Scavenger Gods and Goddesses? No." My shoulders shrugged slowly as her own eyes widened greatly. Yes. She did gasp at my words, and slumped into her own throne.

"In any case, we shall be placing you, Azazel number two, upon the throne as God King of the Azzarathean Pantheon, as she will also know that you have escaped. That is, if she had half a mind to place alarms around your prison. If she knows of your removal from the prison, then she will be looking for your person once everything has been settled within her Pantheon. Therefore, we shall strike soon.

"So go and prepare," my body did stand tall as all of my Undying stood at attention, "for this will be our last campaign."

"Which means?" inquired Sia slowly.

Turning towards her person, my features revealed a slight smirk, "Which means, my dear Sia, that after this, there will only be peace amongst our people," her skeletal tail swayed quickly as she grew excited, which quickly fade when I continued with, "Unless someone else grows foolish enough to strike out against our world of Terra, of course."

Whilst my Undying left to gather up their own minions, as well as to figure out who will be staying as a guard against any and all who would dare to attack the newly fledged Pantheon, I summoned Beelzebub before my person. One who deserved to know what it was that we had found out about the prison which contained Azazel number two. Yes. He was quite angered by all of this, and yes, he desired to join us. To which I gave my assent to, as have him would be far more dangerous than having his person by my side.

You all appear to be confused, so allow my person to reiterate.

Imagine, if you will, a volatile cocktail full of unknown chemicals which can, and will explode if left alone for a time. Now, it still is dangerous, even if you take it with your person, but you will be able to direct the damage wherever you will. However, if left alone, say, in a laboratory full of other dangerous chemicals, mixtures, and tinctures then it will no doubt create a far greater explosion which will cause your person to rush back to try and salvage the situation.

This was so with Beelzebub. For if I had left his person alone within the Pantheon, even after speaking to his person about what we had learned with Azazel number one, then he will no doubt have resented such a decision. What is more, if we succeeded with our campaign, and he wasn't there to witness such an event, nor was a part of it, then there is no doubt he would have plotted some sort of revenge against I and mine. Which would have led to his untimely demise, and we couldn't have this occur. Therefore, he would come with us whilst bringing an army of five hundred Greater Devourer Demons.

Yes. He was quite angry, and would unleash these beings upon those who would dare to stand in his way. However, this would occur soon enough.

On the other side of things, and within the Azzarathean Pantheon, sat a tired God King called Azazel atop a mound of blood, flesh, and bone within a white space where the battles of Gods and Goddesses would take place. This is so, as the destructive powers wielded by such being upon the various worlds, or within the void space between them, would cause untold destruction to those who are desiring to live in peace. Therefore, it was decided long ago that those with incredible power and strength would fight within an Ethereal Void Space so as to minimise any and all damage which would occur elsewhere.

Yes. This was where I fought those Gods and Goddesses who dared to venture forth upon my conquered world of Forge. Of which was then transferred into the physical plane as a beam of chaotic energies upon their persons when I won.

In any case, the God King had just triumphed over those who dared to challenge her person for ownership of her pantheon, when the many screens within her command grew large in front of her person in order to reveal the images of her most hated enemy. Of which caused her person to grin greatly as she noted that he, and his entourage were journeying towards her and her Pantheon. "Good. Good," she muttered with a feral grin and eyes full of maddening hatred, which then faltered as she noted another being amongst their numbers.

One in which she wished it were not possible, as the images came upon a mirror image of herself. Of whom was flying within the centre of a great host of Gods, Goddesses, and demonic creatures. Each journeying onwards towards her Pantheon. To which she growled and released her pent up anger upon the space around her person, obliterating every trace of the battle beforehand. Well, I'd say "battle", but it was more of a one sided massacre on her part.

For a God King's strength comes from the many worlds within their control, and although she had lost nearly thirty and four worlds, there was still nearly seventy other worlds within her Pantheon. This group gave her the strength to overcome all challenges and their challengers. However, she was still quite overconfident when it came to the fighting, as she would take on all odds on her own, never relying on others. Perhaps if she wasn't so stubborn, I probably would not be standing here.

After her explosive tantrum, the God King calmed herself whilst pacing around a small area within the Ethereal Void Space, muttering inconsequential musings which do not bear repeating. One of such mutterings was to figure out why they were coming back if they have what they wanted. Whereas another was of her wishing she had slew her sister instead of imprisoning her person long ago. Whilst a third was to simply wonder what she should eat as she waited for their arrival.

Yes. Inconsequential mutterings to be sure.

As such things were occurring, those upon the various worlds within the Pantheon of Azzarath were quite upset, and even angered by what was happening within. Many blamed the armies of an unknown God striking out against them and those that they worshipped. Whereas the rest blamed the Gods and Goddesses that promised protection.

These people who believed that their trusts were betrayed by their own deities rose up all over the various worlds. Which then led to many more wars against the Gods and Goddesses who made such promises, and slowly became a crusade. One that worshipped a new deity who was also called Azazel, but was kinder and had the back of another Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses. One in which desired to see her upon the throne which governed them all, and gave the promise of protection to those who desired such a thing, and a gruesome death to those that oppose such a thing.
