"What's going on?" cried out the False God, whose screens had become black the moment the strange Wolf-kin's form began to glow a dangerous red. Of which also cracked many of the screens which were used to watch the world below. "Why can't I see anything?"

He was frustrated beyond belief, as the scene which he so desired to view was denied. For he had rewritten his little "script" so that there would be a confrontation between a few guards and the group inside the rundown orphanage. One which would lead to nearly half of the children either taken away, or killed off, and this God desired to witness their reactions to it.

Now? Now the screens were black, with a few of them cracked, and nothing could be done to restore the images. "By the Abyss," he grumbled softly, slouching against his throne, "What the hell is going on down there?"

Meanwhile, upon the edge of his domain sat a silver-haired girl-child who held onto a small screen which held the image of the Wolf-kin. Of whom was howling at the death of the Human boy-child. This caused the others, Shiro, Anna, Shanna, Robby, and Shadow to mimic this howl of great sorrow and anguish. Which was then echoed by those of whom were of the canine race. Whereupon they continued as their leader, boss, and master grew as lines of crimson ran throughout his Wolf-kin self. Until, at last, his flesh was torn away to reveal a great and terrible being.

This being was monstrous, and broke through the roof of the orphanage, causing debris to fall all around his person. Although those with the livery ran away from the scene in fear as the building fell about their persons, the children and elder were protected by a luminous shield of gold. This, not the monster, nor the fact that the building was falling around their persons, frightened them immensely.

'What could this thing want of us?' Those of whom who held greater intelligence wondered, 'Why did it save us?' These questions, and more, were left unanswered, as the skeletal creature swiftly grew larger, whilst a bone-like tail erupted from its backside, and an extra pair of arms appeared beneath its primary pair. Whereas is own skull slowly grow horns atop itself in the shape of a crown, as its facial features resembled the culmination between a dragon and a Human.

After such a transformation, the silver-haired girl grinned maniacally, revealing a pair of sharpened teeth as she watched this monster howl with an unearthly voice. To which summoned up a multitude of portals full of shadows and lightnings of crimson hues. "Come to me," it roared with an ominous voice that shook the world in its entirety, "Come. To. Me."

Slowly, figures both great and small stepped through the portals which stood open to their persons. These were of iron skeletons of every race imaginable, of Dwarves in golden armour, of Demons full of shadowed mists, and female Kitsunes, fully clothed in leather armours, wielding both spears and whips.

"Stand up, O ye Sons of Hephaestus," its voice thundered throughout the land, "Let the anvils ring high and the drums of battle begin. Tonight, O Sons of the Blacksmith God, let us bathe in the blood of our enemies, for tonight we march to war."

These words caused the Dwarves to howl with glee, as their golden armours radiated greatly as though miniature suns, whereas the others simply looked on towards this being that had summoned them, as the iron skeletal shapes quickly ushered the elder and his charges through the portals. Whereupon other beings would bring them to those of whom would take care of their persons henceforth.

"Awaken. Awaken," its voice rumbled greatly, causing many within the city to finally take note of the giant creature in their midst, as those within the castle dashed towards the broken ramparts to stare upon that which had appeared so suddenly, "Ye who art of Shadows and Darkness. Ye who art descendants of Beelzebub, High God of Gluttony. Ready now thine plates of gilded silver, for the Feast of Souls is upon thee."

The little girl-child fell over upon her back, giggling incessantly as her feet kicked the air before her person. "So good," she crowed happily as the Demons gathered before the hulking skeleton raised up their spears and pikes in a joyous resounding cry. "What of the Foxes?"

To this query, the creature turned his gaze upon those of whom were Kitsunes decked out in leathers and held whips and spears. "To you, I give my greetings to the daughters of Hua-yang, of Tamamo-no-mae," it spoke slowly, pressing its primary, right foreclaw to where its maw would have been located, then rested it upon the left side of its ribs, before bowing slightly.

"You are here upon my selfish request," it continued, standing tall once more, "to do battle against those of whom had slighted my person. For this, I thank thee, and call upon Her name once more. O Hua-yang, Tamamo-no-mae, the Golden Fox of Nine Tails. I beseech thee now to grace your daughters with thy presence, and grant unto them the wisdom of thine own heart and mind. So that they may fight as thy true daughters once more."

Upon these words, a golden light fell from the heavens above, showering the bodies of these Kitsunes, and transforming their bodies into three tailed, golden Foxwomen. Of whom cried out with glee, as they ran around each other to observe their own transformations.

"Come, ye who have answered my call. Come, and do battle once more. For these are Humans, Beastmen, and Kin, and they are each child abusers or enablers of such abuse. Therefore," the creature's voice thundered around them, shaking the world as clouds of complete darkness rolled in from all directions. Whereas that which stood higher above them all, had its eyes flare with rage and sorrow, as the Madness in which afflicts all Undead took hold of its mind. This caused the flaring of its eyes to bathe the world before it with the colour of blood, which many who were not cowering inside their homes believed to be thusly. For this coloured light stayed upon their person and clothing even as it drifted elsewhere.

"Therefore," the world, once more, shook around their persons, "they must all be purged."

"What the hell is that thing?" cried out one of the soldiers in standard leather and chainmail, of who pointed towards a monstrous, skeletal creature as it roared and spoke in several languages they've never heard of.

"Get to your positions," called out Lord Biron, whose body was decked out in full iron platemail, and stalked along the broken ramparts which were sorely in need of repair, "Whatever that thing is, it'll be upon us shortly. Therefore, you must be ready to fight, else it'll tear us all apart."

No. His words were not encouraging, but they were the truth. For just as he finished speaking, did the hulking mass of a giant turned towards their persons, bathing their bodies in a light of crimson which would never leave their persons. This was so, as its attention turned away from them and towards the camp outside. Of which had flung a few boulders at it in the hopes of distracting the creature long enough for everyone else to either mount a rescue for themselves, or flee.

These ones did not have any hope of winning, no, but they had been ordered by those sober enough, and loyal to King Salazar, to amount something of a distraction for their King to flee. Thus, many came up with the catapults and trebuchets which had not been torn apart just yet. Of course, moving such large ammunitions was a daunting task, but they managed enough to fling a few smaller missiles towards the creature.

"Hah," cried out the Bear Beastman, who slapped the battlements with his right, clawed hand with joy, as the skeleton lumbered towards the camp, "See, everyone? This means the creature is an idiot, and will only attack those who attack-"

"Who's an idiot?" asked an iron-skeletal Humanoid, of who was floating before their person with a robe of white about its body. Whilst in its right primary, clawed hand was a staff of bone with a Human skull adorning the top, and in its left was a large sword which glowed with an eerie, blue light.

"I believe the rug called our Lord High God an idiot, My Lord Brutus," chimed in another iron skeleton, of whom had the appearance of a Wolfman, but was in fact a female. However, this one was not wearing anything, and simply stretched her skeletal arms towards the endarkened sky above. As to her position? Well, she was currently standing atop the ruined bodies of four soldiers to the immediate right of the Beastman.

"I kind of figured that, Lady Sia, as it was a rhetorical query," spoke the one called Brutus, who then pointed his staff of bone towards the one called Lord Biron, "Our Lord God does not wish for any survivors. You understand, right?" To which he cackled madly, as the skull atop his staff unhinged its jaw. Which then released a spray of violet liquid upon their persons, whilst those afflicted with such shielded their faces against such a spray.

"You sure that'll do the trick?" asked the one called Sia, as she jumped down towards the courtyard, eager to begin her own rampage.

"Of course it will," called out Brutus, who waved a clawed hand over those of whom were doused, and watched as they lit up in emerald flames. All the while, the victims screamed an unearthly scream, as the flames ignored their flesh, and delved deep inside their bodies to eat away at that which was called a "Soul", "After all, Rojaahn and our Lord God were the ones who developed such a substance after the third or fourth Concerto dei Dannati was performed."

Within moments of their words, did these victims of the robed skeleton fall over as the flames winked out, causing their bodies to be devoid of all life. Whereas he did call upon his own magicks, which summoned a small horde of ghostly skeletons. Of which then rushed into the bodies with joy, and, within a few moments of these bodies spasming, they stood up with eyes of glowing embers whilst their maws drooled with hunger.
