Two months later.
Barbra’s perspective.
In the bath house of the castle.
Sigh, no matter how many times I take a bath in here, I just can’t get enough of it. The bath is spacious and not only that but it’s relaxing. I remember when I first saw this castle. I was so confused especially since Allen said he built it in a day.
That kid never seizes to amaze me. I still don’t know my way around this castle even now. The reason is because it is so huge. Allen told me that he used space magic on some of the rooms to make them look bigger. I don’t understand why he needs rooms to be so big in the first place, I mean we are the only two living here.
“Are you getting out of the bath now, my lady?”
“Ah, yes.”
A maid then covers my drenched body with a towel.
Well, except for these people. I still don’t know where he got these maids from. I always feel a bit weird when I’m around them. Like they are not human if that makes sense. There are other people leaving here with us. Eight of them to be exact. I believe their names were Michael, Uriel, Adam, Abaddon, Isaac, Sabrina, Robert, and Marianne. I heard there was one more, Talia, but I haven’t seen her yet. It seems she doesn’t leave her room much.
I was told by them that they are loyal retainers of Allen, but I don’t believe that. Well, I do believe that they are loyal, but I feel like Allen isn’t telling me something about them. Well, it doesn’t matter. I better prepare myself for the day.
I finish preparing and leave to the training area.
***
Poor guys. After the castle was built, their training was changed drastically. They are being trained even harder than they were, or so I’m told. They always look like they’ve come out of a torture chamber or something. But I can tell that their training is paying off.
“Lady Barbra, are you ready to leave?”
“Yes, Marco. I’m ready.”
Marco, the young man who blocked me from entering the village that time has now become my bodyguard. It was on Allen’s orders that I must always have someone with me when I leave the castle.
Of course, I don’t know why but he was insistent. Not only me but Stacy has a bodyguard. I understand Stacy’s case since a lot of people want her for her potion crafting skills but why me? Anyways, Allen has given me the role of village doctor and built me a clinic in the village. I’ve been having a lot of fun using my skills to heal people again and studying the new knowledge the kid has given me.
A lot of people have been moving to this village recently due to their own villages being either destroyed by natural disasters or by monsters. Due to that a lot of people have been injured or are sick so it’s my job to help them. Because of that, the number of this village has reach two thousand.
Allen on the other hand has been busy purifying the forest. At this point, I doubt if there is anything that kid can’t do. It’s quite cold today. Well, winter is upon us now, so I understand. I think it’s going to snow today. Anyways, I should get going.
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

At the forest.
This should be the last section.
“Purify.”
The area I am standing in is enveloped by white energy that even shines in the cloudy condition, completely purifying it in an instant.
I guess I’m done now.
Just then, snow starts falling.
Oh, it’s starting to snow. I don’t really feel much cold even though I’m not wearing any warm clothes. I guess my resistance to heat and cold is high, huh? Anyways, these past two months, I’ve managed to create the other five of my children. Calling them children is a bit weird, so I’ll just call them my Pillars. I have nine Pillars in total.
The first four are Michael, Uriel, Adam, and Abaddon. The remaining five are: Isaac the Master of Technology and magi-crafts. Magi-crafts is the art of creating magical items and tools. I’ve given him all the knowledge of technology from my previous world and the knowledge I’ve gathered here so far. I gave him a kid’s body because, well I don’t really have a reason.
Sabrina the Master of Science. I gave her all knowledge related to science. Be it chemistry or biology. Anything that has science in it is imprinted into her soul. She also loves to do experiments on anything that moves. I definitely didn’t give her that personality trait.
Robert is the master of lightning. Every lightning spell I’ve learned, I have shared it with him. He is smart like the rest of the Pillars, and he is really nice. Or is he? Behind his smile, he is a person who is cruel to his enemies and bares grudges. Everyone needs a motivation, right?
The next one is Marianne. She is the head maid and oversees the demonic maids. The demonic maids are the maids that are serving me now in the castle. Basically, they are demonic spirits that I gave bodies to occupy and work for me. Of course, I created those bodies using a special wood from a tree I found in this forest.
I created doll bodies for them to control and with a bit of transformation magic, I made them look like real life people. Apparently, these demonic spirits are Ray’s “friends” which he promised he would put in a word for them to serve under me. Of course, this was something he tricked me into doing but I managed to find out about it and punished him harshly for it.
Continuing with Marianne. She has a quiet and domineering personality. Within a week, she had the demonic maids bowing under her feet. I gave her the ability to manipulate darkness magic and demonic energy. The reason I gave her the ability to manipulate demonic energy is so that she can keep the demonic maids in check if ever they dared to betray me.
Talia was the last one I created. She is… I won’t talk much about her.
“It seems you’ve finished way faster than expected kid.”
“Yeah. This is good after all, I’m sixteen now. After two more months, I’ll have to leave the village to search for the hideouts drawn on the maps.”
It seems that the four complete maps I found in the Draconic Book are maps that lead to ruins of the Draconic race that even their ‘descendants’ don’t know anything about. I’m hoping that I’ll find the missing page for the last map from the places on these maps.
I doubt it got destroyed since this book itself is made from a material that I don’t even know. The pages are not made from paper since it doesn’t exist yet in this world and it’s not made from parchment either. Instead, the pages are made of a golden material that is durable but is also able to bend just slightly and is resistant to magical attacks.
I’ve now completely finished purifying the forest. While I was purifying the forest, I was also able to purify the monsters that lived here too. Some of those monsters, I’ve left here in the forest. They’ll be perfect for the guards’ training. The others I’ve had people domesticate them and for the strong and rare ones, I’ve placed them in the pocket dimensions that I’ve specially created for them back in the castle.
I gave Adam the job to locate any mineral loads and dungeons found in the entire forest. Since he is made up of earth, he is more sensitive to minerals. I gave Sabrina the task to study the herbs and trees found in the forest and their usefulness. That should help with crafting more advanced potions. I gave Abaddon the task to survey the forest and distribute the landscape for its uses. This will help in determining which places are suitable for farming, factories etcetera.
I’ve also gave specific tasks to the other Pillars as well. Well, not all of them.
I guess I should head back now.
“Kid!”
“Yeah, I know.”
A life signature! My magic sense has detected a life signature and it seems very weak. This life signature is also different from that of monsters.
A person? What would a person be doing here? It seems purifying the forest will come with its nuisances. I will have to create a system of guarding the entire forest so that no uninvited guests could enter. Golems would do the job, right?
