Before I begin project genesis, I want to try something first and that is to absorb the Demon Lord’s core to see if the energy from it can replenish my golden energy since I used some of it to regenerate my injuries back then. I also want to see if it is possible to absorb the Demon Lord’s true essence from the core.

True essence. Everything about any leaving being is recorded in their soul. True essence basically contains information about the being itself, from its characteristics to its abilities. It’s like a backup hard drive of the being’s soul.

But unlike the soul, which can be destroyed, true essence cannot. As long as a remnant of the being still exists, be it blood or any remains, then that means its true essence is also there. In the Demon Lord’s case, it’s his core. (His body including his soul were incinerated by my attack)

The ‘Domain’ ability that the Demon Lord used was overpowering. Hence, I want it. That also includes the ability his demonic weapon had. If I can obtain his powers, then I’ll be one level higher from where I am right now.

I begin absorbing the core. Since I’ve basically figured out the secrets to energy itself, absorbing the demonic energy inside isn’t a problem.

After ten minutes, I had finished absorbing the core. It seems that the demonic energy inside managed to replenish a little bit of my golden energy. I guess that has something to do with the demonic energy being accepted by this world. I wonder, if I find another foreign energy that this world hasn’t accepted, will it be able to replenish my golden energy to its original state?

So far, I still haven’t learned much about this energy. All I know is that it can function as anything I want. From regenerating my body to boosting my abilities. I don’t plan on using it though in the near future.

I didn’t manage to obtain the Demon Lord’s demonic weapon ability but I think I can create my own magic spell that is similar. However, I did manage to obtain the Domain and the dark rods. They were tough to comprehend but I figured them out eventually. I noticed that the dark rods have the ability to drain the opponent’s energy and weaken them. Other than that, they are very strong and durable

With Domain, I can now be confident in future fights.

“Ray. Is everything prepared for Project genesis?”

“Yeah, kid. You’ll only be able to make four of them though considering your magic capacity.”

“It’s alright. We can create the rest of them later.”

“I see. So, do we begin?”

“Yes, we begin.”

Project genesis. It’s a project I’ve been working on ever since I learned about spirit energy. Project genesis is to utilise spirit energy to create a living spirit. Ariel was the base of this project. I created her as a prototype to see if Project genesis would be done. Of course, it would’ve been impossible to do this if it wasn’t for Ray. I created Ariel using Ray’s spirit fragments.

Ray is a peculiar being. No matter how many times his spirit is damaged, it restores itself back to its original state like nothing happened. Usually when your spirit is damaged, that person’s health will deteriorate until they die or they would need powerful spirit potions which have the ability to repair a damaged soul. But Ray is different from ordinary spirits.

I guess it makes sense as to why the Holyland decided to seal him instead of exterminating him.

I used his fragments as a base in creating Ariel. By supplying that fragment with enough spirit energy, it turned into a new independent spirit. I then gave that new spirit its own personality and just like that, Ariel was born. (Of course, it took a lot of research, trial and error, and more processes).

I used the same technique to create nine independent spirits. I created them after Ariel. I decided to store them in my mindscape so that they could develop their sense of awareness on their own. Basically, I incubated them in my mindscape.

But unlike Ariel, I planned to create bodies for them. I could just create golem bodies, but golems are usually weak which is why I’m gonna create their bodies out of my magic.

By doing this, I can create strong loyal servants that can think and also act for themselves. And thanks to Athena granting my wish, I can give each one a set of knowledge and specialty. I’ve already designed their abilities and looks using mindscape. The only thing left is to create their bodies.

“Let’s begin.”

I then began the project. Ray and Ariel provided me their support. And just like that, a few hours pass.

“Huff, huff, huff. Done!”

Nearly all my magical power and mana have been drained. Even though my cores expanded after fighting the Demon Lord, I never thought that creating these guys’ bodies would be this taxing.

Well, that’s on you kid. You did say you wanted them to be strong enough to rival the ant demon, didn’t you?

Yeah, you are right. Anyways, I’m done.

The first one is Michael. He has a noble spirit and is the oldest one. Well, not the oldest. Creating Talia’s body would probably consume all my magical power at once so I decided I would create her body last.

But he is the second oldest, I guess. I created his body to be that of water and thus his specialty is water magic. He can change his body to look like a human thanks to transformation magic. I gave him a stern and serious personality and he has developed something of a big brother complex.

“I greet the master that created me. I make a pledge that from this day forward, I shall be the master’s sword and shield.”

I didn’t expect him to give such a wonderful greeting. It makes me feel like a bigshot.

The next one is Uriel. She has a spunky attitude and loves to have fun. She has a bit of a rebellious side to her but none the less, she is loyal to me so I guess that doesn’t matter. I created her body to be that of fire and thus, her speciality is fire magic. She can also transform herself to a human form.

“What’s up Pops he-he.”

Pops?! What the fuck? I’m fifteen, how can I be a father?

“Uriel, behave yourself in front of our creator. You are being noisy.” says Michael in a cold yet gentle voice.

“Oh. Come on Michael. He’s basically our dad so what’s the big deal?”

“Are you perhaps jealous Michael that Uriel got to call our lord by “pops”? Don’t tell me you wanted to call him that yourself?”

Michael is blushing. They are definitely acting like siblings.

The one who just spoke now is Abaddon. He is a master strategist and also very cunning. I created his body to be anything he wants. He is basically the master of transformation magic. He can change his body to be either a weapon, material, or a monster. He’s the definite definition of an abomination. I also gave him the ability to create the dark rods the Demon Lord could create.

“Stop your silly joking you too. We are in front of our master.” Says Michael with a solemn face. The two quiet down.

The last one is Adam. He is shy and doesn’t speak. Of course, his siblings and I can understand him just fine even if he doesn’t speak. I created his body to be that of earth and thus, his specialty is earth magic. He is the most loving out of his siblings even though he has a big bulky earth body, he loves cute and fluffy things. Of course, he can also transform into human form.

Since I created them, we are connected in a number of ways. Even I don’t know how many those ways are. When creating them, I gave them knowledge about this world through my memories and knowledge about Earth through the knowledge that Athena bestowed to me.

Now, the first part of my plan is complete.
