MADAM WINTERS’S FIGHT FOR HER CHILDREN CHAPTER 1331
Ninian adhered to certain beauty standards. Her delicate features and small face looked innocent and lively, just enough to make people adore her.
She looked attractive in person. She would be even more popular once she appeared on the screen. With her appearance, she naturally belonged to the entertainment industry.
Nilson was taken aback by her beautiful and limpid eyes. He then said plainly, “Introduce yourself.”
Everett, on the other side, frowned.
When Zayn noticed this, he asked, “Sir, do you need me to remind Mr. Lum who Ninian is?”
“No need,” Everett said calmly as his frown faded.
Zayn looked at the screen again. He saw Ninian, who was treated equally, and was not affected by Nilson’s tone of voice. Instead, she looked calm.
She smiled and said confidently, “Good day, Mr. Lum and everyone. I’m Ninian Winters, a newcomer in the
entertainment industry. I’ve played the supporting role
of Elliot White in “In Full Bloom“. I wish to audition …”
Her voice was soft and pleasant to the ear, like the voice of an angel.
Everyone had a smile and had a good impression of her when they noticed she talked about her acting experience
more than she talked about who she was.
After she introduced herself, Nilson asked, “Ms. Winters, as someone from a high–status family, why did you choose to enter the entertainment industry?”
The assistant director next to him, Chester Campbell, was
startled. He did not expect Nilson to be so direct.
‘Why can’t you pretend to not know this, just like the rest of us?‘ He wanted to cry, but there were no tears.
“I don’t believe in lowliness nor nobleness. Ranks and
status don’t exist. I love acting, and my dream is to be the
best actress and win the greatest awards in the
entertainment industry. So, here I am, working to achieve my goal.”
Ninian took her time as she made her statement with the right tone of voice.
Sure enough, she was born into a powerful family. Her grandeur and elegance were her innate temperament. If
what she said were spoken by ordinary people, they would only sound like an ambitious eighteen– year–old girl who did not know the immensity of heaven and earth.
For some reason, when she spoke, she gave confidence to those around her.
She sounded so sure, and it was just a matter of time.
Chester and the rest of the executives were drawn to her almost immediately.
Nilson nodded and said plainly, “Get ready, then. Start whenever you’re ready.”
Right after she spoke, a staff member came and gave Ninian an A4 paper.
Ninian lowered her head and skimmed through the script. It was part of “Turncoat” where Hazel first meets her evil boss. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
Hazel’s real identity was a Senior Intelligence Officer of her party. She pretended to be a prostitute who was bought into a brothel by her husband.
During her time in the brothel, she was picked on, and her body was filthy. She hated and despised the world.
The enemy’s Chief Intelligence Officer known as the “evil
boss” took a fancy to her. She took advantage of the deepest bloodthirsty and hatred in Hazel’s heart and trained her into a killing machine.
It was hard to play this complicated scene.
Ninian had to almost play three different roles at the
same time, and she had to transition between these roles naturally.
This was the most difficult scene in the whole drama.
When Chester noticed the color of the paper she was holding, he was completely shocked.
“Mr… Mr… Lum! Did you give her the wrong topic? That’s
>>
“That’s way too hard. Is Mr. Lum trying to fail Ms. Winters?
Contrary to his nervousness and apprehension, Nilson appeared extremely calm.
“Ms. Winters, I’ve given you the hardest topic,” Nilson picked up another piece of paper of another color and said, “This one’s for you. Which one do you choose?”
The color of the paper in his hand was very light. It was a stark contrast to the dark–colored paper that Ninian was
holding.
It was obvious that one topic was harder than the other.
