MADAM WINTERS’S FIGHT FOR HER CHILDREN CHAPTER 1036

George gave Harold a pointed look, and Harold suppressed the excitement in his heart. His big black eyes were shining and reflected Adeena’s silhouette.

Her feelings became even more complicated.

She had always thought herself to be rather quick–witted, but why could she not see the intentions of these people in front of her?

“I’m going to the hospital with Aunt Deena. Do not follow us,” Duke said in a low voice as he stood up.

“Huh? Aunt Deena, are you sick?” Melody’s eyes were filled with concern.

“I’m fine,” Adeena said exasperatedly. “I’m just getting a check–up, don’t worry.”

Duke stood beside her with one hand in his pocket. His voice turned a little colder. “George, take care of your siblings, we’ll be heading off first.”

“Alright, Daddy.” George nodded in response.

It was not until the car disappeared from the entrance of the mansion that the four children reluctantly looked away.

“Sob, when will we get to properly call her Mommy?” Harold sighed.

Alden said slowly, “Daddy must be thinking of courting Mommy all over again.”

George nodded. “Although Mommy lost her memories, she still has feelings for us, deep in her heart.”

“Can Daddy do it?” Melody was very worried. “Mommy seems a little opposed to Daddy getting close to her. Should we help him?” Material © of .

Harold linked. “Without our help, Daddy would take at least a month to court Mommy.” “A month?” Alden sneered. “You give Daddy too much credit. I’d give it at least half a year.” “Half a year is too long.” George shook his head. “We’ve lost Mommy for four years, we can’t wait any longer.”

“How about this…”

Alden beckoned, and the four children huddled together.

UPLO

The car drove smoothly down the road, and the warm spring breeze blew in.

The car was not going too fast, so the wind was gentle and refreshing.

“Mr. Winters, I’m not going to the hospital. You can drop me off at the city center,” Adeena said softly.

Duke held the steering wheel and said in a strong voice, “Have the check–up first. You can leave after that. I’ll wait for the results on your behalf.”

Adeena was speechless.

Since this man had put his words in such a manner, there was not much she could do to go against it.

She pursed her lips and said nothing.

The car quickly stopped at the entrance of a private hospital that Winters Corporation invested

in.

He had already called to make an appointment. As soon as the two of them entered, a nurse courteously brought them to the doctor’s office.

Duke led Adeena to sit down and consulted the doctor, “She has been suffering from cramps for several years now. She had one when she was taking a shower, and she couldn’t get up. Can you perform a comprehensive examination of her body, doctor?”

The doctor had already received Duke’s order in private. He pushed up his glasses and slowly said, “Cases like this, in particular spasms in the limbs, usually suggest a hidden problem in the body. We might need to do an MRI, a color Doppler ultrasound, and a blood test…”

Duke ordered to have all the inspections done.

Looking at the pile of prescriptions in her hand, Adeena scowled. “Is all this necessary?”

She had been going for regular check–ups every week in Cloud City and the doctor said that she had no major issues…

Duke looked at her unquestionably. “The doctor has spoken. Your lips are purple, and there must be something wrong with your heart. It’ll give us some reassurance to have it checked.”

He had to know what was going on with her body…

“Some of the results of these tests would take three days to come out, but you don’t have to make an extra trip here. I’ll send the results to you in person once they’re out,” Duke said softly again.

Adina pursed her lips.

This man really cared about her body, and if so, she had to take care of herself too.
